    I had the Whiteline front and rear adjustable sways installed with the Whiteline End links. Turned my 08 Z roadster into a handling beast.

      @AnthonyJ350  7 років тому

      John Politano Nice! how long have you had them on the car for?

    • @jp8950
      @jp8950 7 років тому

      About 5 weeks. I also upgraded the wheels to the Rays Track V2's, with 275/35/19 Rears, and 255/40/18 fronts. I went with the Firestone Indy 500's "Awesome Tires". The roadster used to dip a bit on hard turns, but now, with the sways on the middle hole, along with the new wheels/tires, it handles beautifully. I also went with Stillen CAI Gen 3, Motordyne ART pipes, and Motordyne TDX V2 exhaust, with an Uprev Pro Tune. The car made 310 whp and 278 wtq, on a low reading dynocom. I'm really loving the transformation of the Z, which was already enjoyable. I'm going in next week for a high performance clutch/flywheel, and slave cylinder bypass, replacing the clutch slave cylinder, which just failed this morning. This winter, I'm going twin turbo, with a goal of 500 whp, on the stock internals. Then i'm done. I'm hoping for mid to low 11's at the track, but I also know the car is a bit heavy so we'll see.

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  7 років тому

      John Politano Nice! Looks like you're going for a very thorough build. Ya the slave design is my biggest pet peeve with the HR. Did you do a short shifter and switch up to the RJM clutch pedal?

    • @jp8950
      @jp8950 7 років тому

      I just ordered the TWM short throw, but haven't given much thought to the clutch pedal yet. I was going to have the shifter installed when it came in, and then the slave went, so I guess I'll just get the clutch upgrade out of the way. Have you looked into the Z1 slave replacement? It looks to be a good fix. Also saw a company called ATClutch, which is apparently building a CSC all metal replacement, but I'm having trouble finding out about that. I may just go with the proven Z1 replacement.

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  7 років тому

      John Politano Ya I don't know why Nissan designed the slave like that for the HR. I've looked at the Z1 fix, I'd buy it if I had an HR. You should look at the RJM Pedal, ua-cam.com/video/E5cpYiVZNRI/v-deo.html

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  7 років тому

      Great car, I think it's awesome for the sports car crowd. Easy to work on. They're kind of expensive for what they are. A base model 370Z is almost the same price and you get a lot of car. But if you want back seats (which are very small) when you'll have to go FRS/ BRZ.

  • @theman6785

    For racing sway anti roll bars are great. However, for street driving with potholes, bad roads etc., they are not the best rattle vehicle etc? Your thoughts overall?

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  5 років тому

      I don't think they would make the ride too but the car could become more "twitchy" in a long sweeping corner and you encounter a pot hole. For a street car I would go with the lowest setting or the neutral setting. You also want to try to match the sway bar that will work best with the springs you intend to use and the shocks should be valved for whatever ride you intend to use. That way it all works together.

    • @AnthonyJ350

      There's a spot on the new Moogs to put an open ended wrench to counter it.

    • @Mrkevi123
      @Mrkevi123 Рік тому

      That's only on the bottom portion connected to the lower control arm.
      The top nut connected to the sway bar is ridiculously difficult to tighten, there's a 5mm Hex socket to hold in place, but it will most likely strip. The design is really questionable.

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  3 роки тому +2

      The MOOG seem like a high quality piece. Heavier and thicker than stock. I like that they're sealed and greasable compared to Whiteline.
      Whiteline is great for a summer or track car, but I don't think would last long on a street car because the joints are exposed.
