Hello, I live in the suburbs but am recently discovering downtown...again. It took a long time for me to get past the loss of Higbees, May Company, and so many other lost gems, but I must admit there are now a lot of wonderful things happening. I really applaud those who are moving downtown and are now making up the growing residential base necessary to continued revitalization. Congratulations to you both.

when i came to Cleveland from Puerto Rico in the second year i didn't like it because the cold weather and snow ,but i decide to stay i got 26 years living here and in 2 year i'm out of Cleveland and going to move to the south out of the snow and cold weather , what is holding me here in Cleveland is my job i got a good job pays very good money , but is not that bad
Cool video! Too bad it wasn't shot now, where you could've visited the beautiful new Heinen's in the rotunda of the Cleveland Trust Building. What an incredible space :)
Good video. Cleveland seems like it has some charm mixed in with it's blue collar roots. Seems like there is enough to do without being overwhelming. From what I hear it is a cheap place to live too.
A nice look at dwntwn CLV living; great to see folks enjoying walking so much! Consider how much energy (& emissions) is being saved and how many connections are being made, by simply walking instead of driving!
@slobomotion its much better than its ever been. people from chicago and new york will say cleveland sucks because they were here 10 years ago when there was nothing and now we are home to 2 of americas best chefs and 3 of its top restaurants. and thats just food. people dont give c town enough credit
I find that very hard to believe given Cleveland's grave urban problems and steady population decline. I have been to that city many times and I don't care for it. I have found both Cleveland and Toledo to be very unsafe and poverty ridden.
It's great to see people living downtown....What makes a city great is that there are folks who actually live in the city. I can't stand it when I hear people say "I live in Cleveland" and they live in chesterland...That's not Cleveland. That's a suburb...you can't walk to anything in a Cleveland suburb.
That is the exact same situation here in Buffalo. People would say they are from Buffalo but than you find out that they live in Amherst, Clarence, or Orchard Park which are all suburbs. That just pisses me off. Don't say you live in a city when you really don't live in the city proper. I hate suburban sprawl and I feel that the city is the best place to live!
Gunnard Doboze thats cool but most American cities are changing & i guess it makes the cities seem alot less like a city when they become filled with surburban folks.....i remember a time when city folks just had a different vibe or attitude about them but now it seems alot of corky/ nerdy surburban folks are filling up the cities in exchange for there surburban homes.
you remember Robin Williams' movie Hook? well the guy who played Jack when he was a kid is an atterny and law professor in cleveland. his names Charlie Korsmo
I love city living but Cleveland is one place that would be an extremely tough sell for me. After several visits in the past, I would much rather avoid Cleveland entirely. Toledo is another city that I have visited and another very tough sell for me. Both Cleveland and Toledo are very unsafe as far as I am concerned. I felt safer in Detroit.
Hickrey Dickrey (Cleveland) home of the Hickrey Dickrey Go Home Red in PLH (NHL), Hickrey Dickrey Cleveland in MLBaseball, the Hickrey Dickrey Habadashers in PLB (NBA), and The Hickrey Dickrey Red Ramblers a hypersonic train in Ultimate Supreme Football League (NFL)
@slobomotion those guys are long gone. the only place you might find one is in east cleveland which is full of police making it really safe. cpd is doing a great job to reduce crime and has basically stopped the whole drug outbreak

What a great video!!! LOVE Cleveland
nice video ladies...nice to see downtown is drawing residents in and the walking is replacing the car!
Cleveland is finally doing stuff to make the city nice. 10 years ago it was a dump, but now its actually nice. At night even better
I find that very hard to believe given Cleveland's grave urban problems and steady population decline. I have been to that city many times and I don't care for it. I have found both Cleveland and Toledo to be very unsafe and poverty ridden.
At night? Not even with a Kevlar vest, kid.
This commercial is just trying to sell apartments.....it doesn't tell about the crime downtown....
Love it !!!!!We just moved to the great Cleveland 👍

None.
How many times have you mugged or robbed someone on your walk home?
Right, it is just about 2000x more common in downtown Cleveland than in the suburbs.
The name of the group is "Beaten Awake".
She didn't change
Seems like a productive day.👍🏼
AFTER SEEING THE VIDEO YOU GOTTA LOVE THE TROPICS
Downtown is getting better as the transition period is finally starting to bear fruit...
Anyone know the name of the song or band playing in the background?
Planning to come back next year. You should visit the UK!
come back soon! id love to visit the UK.

You would be safer in Baghdad or Nairobi. Two other third world cities, just like Cleveland.
@oreo10111 It was too late to save our business, which closed in December, 2010.
When your done look at the poverty areas that surround Famous Downtown Cleveland!
Exactly where I want to move.

You didn't get followed by a gang of homeless people? WINNING
I lived downtown in the warehouse district and it totally sucked ...
It's so soul destroying just watching this.
suburban fools are the ones that make downtown REALLY scary
FecitAnon Why?🤔
Didnt someone get shot execution style in that park you by everyday.... obviously you are not the sharpest knive in the drawer
