What I like about this scene is that it's clear that Bond is genuinely concerned for Madeleine and his daughter to the point that he has (largely) put away his sarcasm and humour, including competitive banter with the new 007, just adopting a grim determination instead.

I loved the latest bond-movies exactly for the lack of "hyper-technology" and leaving it up to the actors to deliver quality. Although the actors (especially Daniel Craig) deliver exceptionally well, the presence of the hyper-tech (like this flying sub) detracts from the movie imho.
I mean it’s not terribly useful to leave. It only seats 2, and can’t take off under its own power. Might be concerned about letting it fall into enemy hands, but the missiles fired took care of that anyway

When a drop from such a high altitude occurs from a military transport, whether is HALO/HAHO jump or any form of high altitude drop the entire cabin depressurises to the altitude they are on. So the whole vehicle entry and checks happen with people and the crew at hand, then you have the drop and it’s not for a few minutes. And definitely not with chilled clothing like you’re going on a stroll with designer’s sunglasses and cool haircuts. This is just pure Hollywood bs. But I get it why they do it, it looks cool.
