I did not know the new Frozen Boost also changed the color of the basic exhaust flames. That's pretty cool. Didn't bother to equip it when I got it, but now I slapped it on my red/blue Fire Stingray.
On WL2m i experienced the exact same thing. I had the full 7 kills, but there was nothing to be done. It was like pinball. I nearly got ranked out, and lost all chances to win the tour. I feel that FFm is the same. I went from half Energy to dead just from a Goose dropping down from skyway on me and pinballing me into reds in the chicanes
