My daughters have fallen in love with Split Enz in recent times and they keep pointing out the keyboards and how amazing they are-it's nice to get a fresh perspective on a band you've loved forever.
Thanks guys for doing NZ Proud. Im going to ring Te Awamutu Council to see if they have a tribute to you in town somewhere. If they haven't they should. Thankyou Split ENZ
I think I definitely hear Noel’s soft touch on the drum kit, but is that Mal on percussion? Methinks the audience didn’t go nuts at the start because they had forgotten what turned out to be my favorite song on the Time and Tide album.
@@trship6274 he may have been, I have no idea, but this particular line up worked together well. They had great fun and great success together. This wasn’t an all encompassing ‘get everyone together’ deal, it was fun.
2024 and I’d do anything for an NZ Enz tour, there is nothing else I’d like to see more!
Without a doubt Eddie Rayner is one of the most underrated and underappreciated keyboard players in rock. This guy has always killed it.
And he is the absolute perfect fit for Split Enz!
One of the most underrated Split Enz songs.
Amen! ; }>

@@7piecebucket yeah man he kills it. Did you get a chance to check it out yet?
@@samsonmorrell Wow! Not until just now. It sounds like Take a Walk, Evenflow, and Jeremy all rolled into one. That was pretty amazing.
Looking for inspiration - no better place to come.

It sure is Mal.
Nigel Griggs is such a badA**!!
Yes! He never gets enough credit, great frigging bass player.
Where’s Phil?
He left the band 29 years before this show was recorded.
@ he should have been there or at least invited.
