Super Cool. I listened to this song every morning, for 6 weeks, before I went to my radiation treatment for cancer. Cured! I was blessed. I am indeed, a Lucky Man. I just hope and pray My old GF and I reconnect.
Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and Carl Palmer... These guys paved the fucking WAY for prog rock as we know it today. VOTE for their induction into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame!
Absolutely Mind Blowing Thank God for the second coming of this song live. The way we always wanted to hear Keith Emerson version away from ELP. Way to cover your own song Keith.....Rest in peace ELP
What can I say, this song has been with me since the early seventies God bless you Keith and Greg you will be sorely missed, Carl please keep the history alive Say A prayer for them both
I am moved to tears by this performance. Seeing Keith mostly only using three fingers of his right hand broke my heart more than once. R. I. P. Maestro. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
im 62 years of age and this song makes me bluber like a baby takes me way back to mi early teens thank's Keith fore the wonderful memories.............................................
I was very fortunate to see the Keith Emerson Band Live in 2004 opening for TESLA and the Scorpions. They played Tarkus in it's entirety, all 7 parts. It was EPIC! When it was over, Me and about 12 other Fans stood up and clapped.. Nobody else there knew what they were witnessing. Music History for the Millennium.
Marc Bonilla does a stellar job, covering Greg Lake's vocals. R.I.P. Keith Emerson. Was great to see ELP, back in the '90s. Thanks for sharing this cool video. Cheers.
I saw ELP in the Summer of 1969, on 500 mikes of Purple Microdot, and I lost 2 days. Carl Palmer used the big gongs a lot. Best concert ever. Even better than Led Zeppelin. Miss them days. Oh, to be 16 again.
Just love this video. Was never considered lucky, but 26 years in the infantry and 4 combat tours, there is some luck in there somewhere. Who could ever reproduce this sound with an ancient machine as so? RIP Brother!!!!!!!
I grew up with all of this great music..When I think of the bands that I have listened to and their music I come to the conclusion that they were magic..
Well, I guess true genius won't hide from the young generation. Came here because of the Moog-Synthesizer but my god... It payed off the listen to the whole song. I've got goosbumps now
I was born in 1974. I think my dad (RIP) was trying to tell me something listening to this when I was a toddler. This version is what I always wanted the song to be.
First time I have heard Keith Emerson Band. Was fortunately able to see ELP in 1974 and their quadrophonic concert. It was the best show I've ever seen and heard. Amazing.
This song reminds me of my beautiful brother who left us Memorial weekend many years ago. He was 21. My mother's favorite child, everyone's favorite brother. Wish you were here.
I was young when the most biblical and beautiful trips with this sound track I joyed. OMG how delicius were these days. Good green marijuana and mushroom madness
I was so extremely lucky to have seen all of these bands live. Some 2-3 times. Rush 23 times. Grand Funk Railroad was non stop jamming. I was fortunate enough to see Led Zeppelin before the passing of John Bonham. R I P 💔
What a unique guitar. I am 60 years old and what Memories this brings about and then reading all the comments sure makes things to come, so much more surreal. I just saw where Tim Conway passed away.
Suicide is such a terribly sad way to go. I was shocked and I cried. I still do. Sometimes life is more than some can bear. That said, Keith left us some of the greatest music ever composed. Ethereal, heavenly, complex, heavy, and beautiful. He was a pilot, a motorcycle guy, and played in front of tens of 1000s of people. Traveled the globe. He lived a full life! I'm so grateful his music is here to bring us the joy it does. Miss you Keith AND Greg ❤ Im so glad Rachel flowers keeps the music alive
Wow, what a rendition, this gave me repeated CHILLS while listening to it, ya did Greg well Mr. Bonilla!! So INTENSE, loved the synthesizer & that MOOG - iconic, TIMELESS.....nothing like that solo here, RIP K. Emerson & G. Lake, forever grateful for the music U left us all with, Luv to U guys eternal 💚💜🌀😍🌀🙏🙏🌞❗️❗️
Being a Baby Boomer, who was born 9 May 55, right in the middle of our generation. I love late 60s and 70s music. We are in the Presence of Greatness. ✌
Most beautiful and grand version of the song indeed, greetings from Metal Monterrey, Mexico, have a most awesome weekend cheers ! Hope to hear more of this lovely and heavenly MUSIC !!!!!!!!
At 12 I bought Tarkus and since then ELP have guided a great deal of my life along my musical formation. We have really been so lucky to have had great musicians in those ages... Truly honored to have had these masters.
Keith, the perfectionists perfectionist, this has to rank in the top five influential songs in all of the great pantheon of music! A masterpiece never gets old and this still affects me every time I hear it! Beautiful job Marc, Greg would approve! Hope you found true peace Keith.
It's SO good to see honesty in a performance. One, which in fact, Marc delivers here. I always come back to this video to see how it's done, professionally and with emotion. Love it!
Young Greg Lake is truly such an amazing voice.. He had one of the best voices.. He's an iconic legend - that goes for all of Emerson, Lake and Palmer.. Will forever miss Keith Emerson.. RIP MR EMERSON
My fahter would have been 82 these days, but he didn´t like rock musi. He always listened polka and drank beer the "umphtata" rhythm. It´st a shame he wasted his lifetime with bad music. I´m sitting here with a good whiskey listening to good rock music that is older than myself and enjoying a good time.
So sad what the ravages of time did to Keith. Keith was probably THE most influential Keyboardist Rock and Roll ever saw. Rock music would not be what it became without him. R.I.P. Buddy
Super Cool. I listened to this song every morning, for 6 weeks, before I went to my radiation treatment for cancer. Cured! I was blessed.

Omg such an awesome moment in rock and roll RIP Keith and your guitarist and singer is so damn awesome ❤❤❤🎸🎸🎸❤❤❤🤟🤘🤘🤘🤘
Who is the singer / guitarist?
Keith Emerson was a great musical artist, with this ELP song being one of his best songs.
The most artistically professional to the heart performance of Lucky Man.
What a unique guitar. I am 60 years old and what Memories this brings about and then reading all the comments sure makes things to come, so much more surreal. I just saw where Tim Conway passed away.

An incredible, amazing version of Lucky Man. Outstanding tribute to Keith, Greg and Carl 💕

Total dedication to play keyboards like that with extremely painful carpal tunnel syndrome. We will not see their like again. Such a privalige.
