And a bathroom to check all the nooks & crannies - perfect! 😂😂This is what my dreams are made of! Such a bonus that no car is required - so convenient to public transport, AND so close to beaches - wooo hooo!! Viareggio & Livorno only a short trip away ...... Heaven! So loved the Life in the Fast Lane snippet - one talented musician right there! I wish I could be one of your 'besties' - but I live in the southern hemisphere & our timing is very out of sync with you northern hemisphere sweeties. Maybe one day we (all of your WWW followers/lovers) will live in Italy & we can all be besties. Hiiii Angelina 👋🏼 That makes sense!! There isn’t too much info about it, but we did find this: Certain historical information on the construction of the bridge is scarce. Nicolao Tegrimi, in his biography of Castruccio Castracani, attributes its construction to Matilda of Canossa (1046-1125) and reports a restoration by Castruccio Castracani at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. According to some hypotheses, the minor arches of the bridge were built in masonry during Castruccio's rule, replacing earlier wooden structures. This could explain the difference between the major and minor arches, as well as the different slope of the street on the left side of the bridge, built from the pre-existing arch.

Guys, having that train station in walking distance is huge. When your ready to go it’s sort of annoying to take a bus to the train or try and find parking near the station- always impossible! ❤. A huge ++++

Lucca is my favorite city and Florence a close second. The bridge is amazing, look up the legend about the bridge. I loved the area when we went to see the bridge and Bagni di Lucca is right up the road. We could be neighbors❤❤. By the honeyman killer guitar once again. How about a little Santana next time. I think your weather info was off. I'm checking Accuweather & summers there are running high 80s>90s, and the humidity for the two closest towns on weatherspark is notably higher.
Hi Eden!! Keep in mind that they are averages and they will change over time. Seems like everywhere is running hotter these days 🥵 Sometimes the towns won’t pull up on Weatherspark so we use the next closest town. Thanks for popping in!
