Incredible run, that seed makes so much sense, I started considering it for ABSS 1.9-1.15 (ABSSG too by using the exp from the dragon for looting 3) but the randomness of chests and distance to the monument are horrible and a TAS makes it so amazing
Im pretty sure optifine is banned in speedrunning, although, it might not be for this category. I know its banned from 1.16 beating game runs, and I think its banned from 1.9-1.15
@@swishfish8858 making a stone pick in that scenario would lose like y 7 seconds, quite bad if you think you can get a gold pickaxe without losing any time
Imagine being that elder guardian, chilling there in your temple, and then this dude casually shows up in your house, stabs you a couple times and leaves
@@TechnesY Hmm... Then they could add health bar to the Elder Guardian who got damaged. I say this, because I think that Elder Guardian isn't good representative for boss-type entities.
This is rly cool, tho I am wondering, how did u not get mining fatigue when u entered the ocean monument and couldn’t u have 4 bedded the dragon to save time instead of melee it at the end. Still an insane TAS tho
0:57 reminds me dream crafting a boat on top of tower, putting it on floor and entering it within one single second… I really think this part of the manhunt was made with same tools as TAS, then included in the manhunt.

@@symmetricpositivedefinite You can't mine a block mid air, and if you do you are losing time either way, it is just a super minimal timesave if possible, which it isnt. I am looking to timesaves of around 90 whole seconds
@@TechnesY it makes you 2% faster, but you also have to save a full tick from start to end. Dunno if that’s enough. I’ve always wanted to see 45’s done in TAS’s tho, but i assumed it would be sickening to to watch. Nice to see someone finally try

Nah this tas was trash, if i overcamed all of 1.14 problems i would have done a sub 3:30, but yeah seed is amazing

it takes less frames to open the crafting book and click the thing you want to craft then to put it in the crafting table generally

yes ik its a human-based tas but you can get the gravel drop at the start faster if you jump before finishing breaking the block
