- Due to technical difficulties with our computer, this week's video is a few days late.
In this week's video, we're moving heifers into a separate pen where local 4-H kids will halter train and groom them in preparation for the county and state fairs.

Love your farm! Piet!! It's really thoughtful of you to take the time and cost to help the children!! Very noble!!❤
I was in FFA in high school in the early seventies on the dairy judging team. We won the Florida state championship two years in a row. I have good memories of those days. Watching this channel brings back those memories. We have a few Guernseys we milk and make cheese and butter. We also sell raw milk through a herd share agreement. I’m waiting on customers to show up as I write this. It’s fun to see the little guy enjoy working with you. Well done!
I hope the kids working with the heifers will create memories they'll remember for a long time as well!
The tool storage at the wall is pretty acurate and clean!
1st of june is international day of milk by FAO. Most important day for dairy farmers 😄
Thanks!
Yes, and in the US June is dairy month!
With all that good help you might be without a job before you know it. God bless
I'd be okay with that!
Do all the 4-H kids show same age calves? When we were breeding and had kids in 4-H they started with a "Novice Calf" born after March 1. And as the kids got older they showed different aged calves. Usually a "Winter Calf" then Fall calf as they "graduated" to showing junior and Senior yearlings.
The age range of Calf varies from about 2.5 months to 13 months this year.
It's great to see the boys helping !!
Did you have 4h or something similar in the Netherlands?
yes called kalverkeuring
Not exactly like 4h, but they have similar things to get kids involved in agriculture.
How many straw bales do you use per year and hay bales 😊
A few thousand of each
♥️🇵🇱👍
funny that your dad ? was hanging out while you fed until he realized your cam was on.
Yes, that was my dad
Thanks for helping the 4H kids
I did 4-H in Ontario and it was fun
It's a great opportunity for kids to learn about agriculture!
😊
Dad doesn't like the camera 😂. Thanks Piet and little helper, he definitely likes to help and been in the barns.
Ok you answered my question as the video went along. my question was premature,
