Its cool to see a proper sequel to EXIT 8. Though i guess its a prequel. I love that one of the posters was of kuukiyomi. The only thing i recognized lol. The dev has real knack for these type of games. Not just spotting the anomalies but surviving them. More like a puzzle game. I like that you do get into a place like silent hill lol.

I think nobody noticed all station names are started with number (一, 二, 三, 四...) that's why Foggy station (9th(九)) was a bad ending. 9th station is not exist.

And that's why the player is trapped in an endless loop there, where the only exit is to reset the game. Just like the game's name, there are only 8 stations. So the 9th station is something that shouldn't exist. Entering it means trapping yourself inside an anomaly.
It's also perfectly fitting, because 九、 when read as 「く」 is a homophone of 苦、"suffering" or "torment". Very smart way of integrating a gameplay element into the in-universe world.
At around 4:00, when you see the white flickering girl the second time, the sign behind her where the next stop would usually display says "DO NOT LOOK AWAY".

Colorful furbies, looking straight into your soul made into human-shaped clump of these little demons that are on heelys with flames on them for greater mobility when t h e t h i n g starts chasing you at night when you least expect it. I plan on draw the same thing but burned to the point of melting, making it a creation of horror that crawled out of the deepest abyss of hell, that talks in furbish about death and how it awaits your perishing
I got it after the death by opening the door. I wish it was maybe made a little clearer but needing to follow the instructions above the doors to advance is original!
I think an interesting sequel would be somthing like 8th Avenue or the 8th Floor, where you need to wander identical city apartments or back streets in the middle of the night. It's a pretty liminal experience and sometimes you catch glimpses of random things just happening. And the dev is really fleshing out his environments and animations pretty well. Would love to see them try their hand at somthing bigger.

Hey man, the earth is actually pretty good! We are in a perfect spot close, but not too close to the sun. It’s such a perfect spot that life can flourish! It’s everything else that sucks ass. Mostly humans. Life already sucks but humans actively ruin it further.
The guy is a genius for letting us have exit 8 and then giving the prequel with platform 8 and then giving us the hint at the end like "you can't escape the deja vu feel"
I like this one. I think it has a sliver of a good idea where you have to solve the anomalies themselves to get through the cars, but it needs more anomalies and puzzles.
I really love this concept, i would like to see someday a full game about this with multiple worlds, also really loved the sudden "Silent Hill" Feeling.

I loved seeing the Kuukiyomi Consider It poster on the train, what a great Easter egg! A lot of the posters in this game are actually advertising real things it looks like at first glance, but they're probably puns like what you see with real brands in anime (WcDonald's or what have you)
It's surreal how realistic this looks, like it almost looks like a live action movie, something is just off enough to let you know it's not real but boy it sure is a close thing
This is probably more funny to me because i live in the UK, so Prince William pops up on the news, magazines, etc, a lot more. But every time i look at that dude, he sat staring at his phone on the train. With his thinning hair, i keep thinking it's randomly Prince William just sat on public transport. 😂😂😂😂 which is hilarious in itself, a royal who dies all these charity things with lower class people, who go out and meet the public, sitting on the London underground. I bet uf anything, he's only seen actual public transport in the UK like once, and that was all for the photos. 😂😂😂
Honestly the true ending is really nice the way they tie it all together even though you can kinda tell based on just being on a train to begin with. And it's a simple, enjoyable and entertaining game.
