Great to see you out at Lagangarbh Cottage in those wonderful conditions. I wish I had those magnetic filters when we were there in February. My hands were so cold I dropped the I smashed my 6 stop. Great advice Karl!!
I so wish I had known about your K&F discount two weeks ago before I bought myself the magnetic filters. But thanks for the review anyway, not had chance to try them out yet.
Hi Karl, fantastic shot with the warm sunlight behind Lagangarbh Cottage and the cooler tones in the foreground. Such a lovely place to be. Thanks for the video. And btw: Firn is an adorable cutie :)
Great video as always Karl, I had a spur of the moment trip to Glencoe last Thursday and stopped in past for a coffee, my shots were not bad but the chocolate brownie in the visitor centre was amazing and made up for it😜
Great concepts to work by Karl although sometime the weather 'moves' and if you don't react you can miss a shot. I was on the Old Man of Storr overlook in March 2022 and I was moving my camera bag and in that 20seconds or so I missed a belter. Managed to get a shot 80% as good a few minutes later but the light coming through the cloud/mist only lasted a few seconds then and that was it!
Yep sometimes you have to be quick but a lot of the time the composition doesn’t change, just the light gets better. Take your time on composition, unless you arrive with great light and you end up running up a hill sucking an asthma inhaler to get the shot.
Brilliant! I was filming just 2 mins away from you lol….absolutely freezing…
quite literally like ships in the mist. Hope you got some better light. It was baltic.
Great video, good tips and some lovely images
Nice one Karl

That short vid as you passed over the bridge ... that told a story! Good advice, good examples and ... good grief that looks cold!
Thanks for another excellent video!
Love the colours. ❤
Great video, hope to be there in March so will be watching your content in anticipation.
Only recently discovered your videos, working through them all, 👍

Great video Karl! It was a pleasure meeting you and your lovely spaniel on the mound in the morning. Love your shots, mine are remarkably similar 😅

Some excellent advice and wonderful images! One important question: “What breed is your beautiful dog?” Thanks for taking me along!
Brilliant. Wee fern is a working cocker spaniel although she hasn’t done a days work in her life. Thanks for watching.
I'd like to practice meditation, After the meditation , I begin to see the images and the compositions
I think you dog was confused at your dialog.
I think I was a bit as well!!!
You have all the time in the world....as a Bond fan, that literally made me cry. 🥹 💔
