Straight to the point , if you know how to fix things. This video is one of the best video I seen.. If it didn't help you let me help you. You should pay someone to do it..
Yes, once the thermostat reaches a certain temperature it opens and allows hot coolant into the radiator in order to allow more cooling into the engine. A faulty thermostat won’t open when it should thus causing the engine to run with less coolant than it needs
Asher Craig this is the most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard. How do you expect to change the thermostat? Pull the hose off and let coolant go everywhere? Please tell me how. I would love to know

It looks green, is that type two coolant?
Would changing my thermostat help with my overheating problem?
Yes unless your head gasket is blown that is a good place to start
@@luckylucciani8534 yea I changed my thermostat and also the radiator cooling fan needed to be replaced too.

So with the thermostat and hoses off can you pour distilled water via where the top hose goes and do a flush of the system?
Can anyone please tell me what the gray thing with the black roll over sip ties is called next to the sparkplugs n engine bay
How much coolant did you use?

Good video man. Thank s.
its all upside down...WTF and you didnt show putting it back in
never drain the radiator for a thermostat
You're an idiot. That's how you're suppose to do it correctly.
@@bryhut17 draining the radiator merely creates another issue, not solving the one you have

I didn’t drain the system and not much came out
It looks like you could just loosen that upper hose clamp for a few minutes to drain some and see cause the thermo part is up top not down below
