This is a vid on how to check Valve Clearance. On my bike they were within specs so there was no need to adjust, but I have discussed how to properly check them and adjust if needed.
As for interval, I suggest that this be done along with the throttle body cleaning around 15000-20000 kms, as it will save a lot of time and energy, also removing the throttle body gives access to remove the head cover easily.

My v3 has a tappet sound just in 3400 km. I took it in a yamaha service centre and they told me that they will adjust it after 6000 km. What’s the reason to adjust tappet after 6000 km?

Sure bhai vids aate rahenge, aur engine oil shelf life 1 saal, agar bike khadi hai toh bi, chahe 500 km ho chali ho, better rehta hai agar change kerlo to i saal baad, 1-2 mahine uppar niche chalenge but level check kerlena , agar kam ho to top up yaad se

Bike The vavles are not setting . Mene 6-7 bar set karvaye hai Service centre se bhi aur Machanic se bhai . after 1 month they get loos and start making noise again . Waht to do and. What is the problem what do you think 🤔
Just to confirm, this is the simpler screw type of adjustment. Some bikes like Duke 390 need shim type adjustment, right?

My bike r15v3 is not going above 115 on 6 th gear , what can be the issue ??
On 3 Rd gear while other v3 goes upto 97kmh mine is going only 88kmh, in 4th gear 106and so on overall it is not going above 116kmh ..what could be the issue ??

Air filter clean aur spark gap sahi se adjust karo, first step.
next, injector aur throttle body clean, issue resolve ho jayega, last step valve check and adjust

bro mere bike mai 4000 to 5000 RPM tak kuch vibrations feel hoti hai & I showed my machine every where but they say its normal.Even their is oil leakage from my Water Pump place.Till now I told the service center 3 times but every time it leaks.
Vibration ke issue ke liye sabse pehle chain check, agar bahut tight hai to sahi se adjust kerke theek ho jayega

Hi. Bhai kitna thaa adjust kerne se pehle. Kyuki compression stroke pe hi kerna hai check. And .10 and .20 thoda thight hai. Poora minimum pe set nai kerna chahiye for long life

Hey,idk why but the service centre guys keep it pretty tight, 0.12 for the exhaust valves
Hey mate, .12 on exhaust is too tight. It will affect the performance and wear out the valves and valve seat aswell

Hey mate. It has one of the best suspension in the Indian market today for track riding and cornering. I have rc 390 too. And even that doesn't come close to how v3 suspension handles undulations and maintains the line while cornering. The best in business.
That being said, it is set up for rider around 70-75 kg. May I know how much do you weigh.
Changing the suspension will completely change the handling dynamics of this bike.
V2 were firmer than this so kinda hard. It's good that you didn't go for that.
But I am curious why you feel these are "worst".
How many kms has the bike done. And has the front suspension oil been changed.
I am asking cos rather than changing rear suspension and ruining the bike there are other good ways to have the bike setup for a particular rider according to their weight.
Fz suspension are a big no no. But their are better cost effective options to sort ur issue.

There are lesson to be learned here. First, stay away from sports bike if we are not gonna ride it for the intended purpose. Second, for road riding stick to buying commuters.
Please don't mind my saying so but you look like you are a new rider who bought it for looks and fairing.
But no harm, point is you have few good options. First. Get used to it cos once you do, you would even love riding it even offroad ;)
Second. Sell it and buy fz or other bikes but test ride it before making ur mind.
Third, ruin r15 by changing suspension.
But I am here giving you another option which maybe worth a shot and save u a lot of money. if you are willing and thus you may choose to answer my questions in my first post.

@@farcerides7041 2018 July dated R15 v3 ,15000km , Services at regular intervals,143800 Purchased price ,My weight -52kg,Its mileage is between 50-55km ,It's smooth and everything thing fine apart from suspension as I told. Bcz I have tried my friends bike duke 200,cbr 150 they are good in speed breaker and small bumps even without braking but R15 v3 sucks and apart from engine the build quality is poor like low quality plastic tanks (Metal tank should be given)and atleast indicators should be given in LED
Last thing. Has the fork oil been changed yet.
And may I please request you to not compare r15 to cbr. Cbr was a show off bike with hero splendour kinda suspension and a race fairing to lure in the show off riders. That's why it failed in India. Maybe that's what you should have bought.
Again I have already said even ktm suspension are tuned slightly towards comfort. Let alone dukes even rc suspension is no match when compared to r15.
You have bought the wrong bike mate. I get it, you needed splendour suspension on fairing. Try test riding hero xtreme 200s or Suzuki 150 or 250. They are perfect show off bikes just like cbr. I have personally owned a cbr and realized in time that spongy suspension that cant handle corners is not my cup of tea. Had to sell it at loss but there was no point sticking with it. I mean I could have upgraded to hard/firm suspension but what the point.
I understand that based on ur rider weight r15 is gonna be firm/hard. But you have bought it for the wrong reasons and there is no point taking this conversation any further. Get rid of it and buy Suzuki or hero or maybe wait for honda to launch cbr

I am having v3 2018 model when reving for about 9 to 10 thousand RPM it gives little black smoke and then normal smoke same thing happens every time I rev it to higher RPM.is there any serious issue

Hi Bro, In my R15v3 BS6 the SVC Guy adjusted to intake .10 and exhaust .15 . To reduce tapped noise but engine is turning off sometime at lower RPM. What is the correct mm for valve clearance ??
Hey mate. Thats too tight that is why bike is performing poorly. Have them readjusted asap else it will lead to valve seat wear and very expensive topend rebuild. Intake should be .10 to .14 and exhaust should be .21 to .25 mm

But there is some strange chain like noise from engine like grinding or something like rubbing inside ( exactly like chain without lube like that noise from left side of engine ) when revving at 2500 and above RPM . But while in idle it’s not coming.

Hello sir i have r15v3 bs 4 model purchased on Oct 19 but it have issue with top speed i never reached over 140kmph it hit red line in 4 th gear but never go past over 10k in 5th and 9k in 6th. And some time it is had to hit 125 kmph . Can i bring it to your shop or any suggestion or diy that make it hit 150 bcz on UA-cam all showing it hitting 150 easy

Haan today wait kerlo aur. Engine oil mein contaminants ho jate hai jo chemical composition change kerdete hai. So once you start riding it is a good practice to change oil. Upto one year is recommended. But chalane se pehle oil level zaroor check ker lena. And top up if needed

V2. intake 0.10 to 0.14 , exhaust 0.20 to 0.24 this value official workshop manual
V3 you say exhaust 0.21 to 0.24 that micro value make what difference?

U sure the stock clearance is .21 in exhaust
Hi. Yes recommended range suggests .21 to .25, adjustment is required if its out of this range
time interval for valve clearance
Considering if a stringent practice is followed, the optimal interval should be 10000 kms, but considering the amount of time and effort needed its best to delay in certain situations to upto 15000 and do it along with fuel injector/throttle body cleaning
