Brooklyn cannot blow this up and go back into rebuild. Not only is their current team great in an attractive free agency market, but they really only need a solid scorer. That should not be hard at all for them to get. Most importantly though, if Milwaukee can’t get a solid team together around Giannis with the new CBA rules, there’s a chance he chooses not to extend next season and enters free agency in either 2025 or 2026 if he opts into his player option. We should know by this time next year if that happens. If he does decide to leave, we can safely say he both doesn’t want to join a super team but he also wants a team who would be a serious contender with him added. As things currently stand, Brooklyn and New York would probably be the two most likely to land him. They both have solid teams with younger cores who fit his timeline way better and can easily clear the cap space to afford him while retaining those younger players. That being said, if Ben comes back fully healthy and how he used to be, it won’t even matter. Brooklyn’s core is already insane defensively, Ben is a player who could guard 1-5 at a DPOY level and is one of the best passers and playmakers in the league. He’s now surrounded by other incredible defenders and guys who can stretch the floor. If they can get him to play how he used to AND drive to the rim, it’s over. Ben and Mikal might become the superstar duo Ben and Embiid never could.
Please. I find it less likely for him to opt out because he already has won a championship so he has less pressure washer
Bro if we got Giannis I’d cry 😂 I hate him because he cost us a championship by injuring Kyrie but on my team 😂 nah I’ll buy his jersey asap!!
This team with giannis would be the best defensive team in the nba and top 5 offensively!
With that said I say we throw Dame 5 FRPs and get his a** out of Oregon I’m so sick of seeing him waste away in that sh** hole 😂
We need a superstar is what I’m saying without breaking up the core ie bridges, CJ, Clax and DFS 🖤🤍🖤🤍
@@hart63 That's fair. He could definitely stay and collect more money. My thing is if he wants to win and Milwaukee can't adapt to the new CBA rules which we'll likely see the first signs of this off-season, there's no reason to stay. That's only if he cares about winning more than the money though. A player like Giannis can become one of the greatest of all time if he plays his career right. Staying in Milwaukee forever is unlikely to lead to that. The question does still become does he want to win or does he want to be the guy who's loyal and got paid but might never win again.
Hmm...I hate giannis but him on the nets is interesting, and something to this about...he did cost us the championship in 2021 with that dirty play on kyrie...but may something to make us a different beast...and getting a mid budget pg
There's no way the NETS are trading Mikal and Claxton
They would be crazy to.
As a Nets fan, love all of this, I think we do need to figure something out to get a star. Weather it be somehow trading for Lillard or convincing Vanvleet to come, nets need a great PG to succeed
Thanks for watching @helixgaming-gamingvlogskin6630 I agree
The Brooklyn Nets are one of my favorites, because they are young and because of their defensive skills.
Very true.
Dame Dame Dame Dame. 🏀🏆
To the heat hopefully.
Nice vid man
Thanks @yung leek
I really like Noah Clowney's potential come draft night. That said if we want NBA ready talent in the draft two names are Kris Murray, and Colby Jones. They kind of fill out our rosters needs, both are coming out after their JR year, and are the most NBA ready guys among a group of very talented, but raw prospects who will be there in the 20's. I also love the potential of someone we already have before this is all said and done, RaiQuan Gray. I've been saying he fits this system, and is a unique talent, a better player than he was allowed to be in college. He played one game last year and posted 16 points 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Should have brought him up last year, instead of messing around with Noel and Moses Brown.
Names I like in the second round depending on what direction we go are Isaiah Wong, Jalen Pickett, Azoulis Tubelis, Mouhamed Gueye
I would draft Jones, Murray, and take a gamble on Tubelis or Gueye personally. But if we ended up with a combo of Clowney, Whitehead and Wong or Pickett I wouldn't shed a tear either.
I'm torn on trading both Royce and DFS they could bring us some big rewards down the road with future picks, or maybe even more so if we hold on to them and used them off the bench, and things don't go well next year, and we sell before the deadline. If we hold, I like our depth, and defensive versatility. It's like this team is loaded with really good role players, and actually would be an attractive landing spot for a big name. I'm not the biggest fan of Mark's recent track record and was his biggest defender in the beginning. But I don't absolutely hate the state of this team despite what has happened recently. I'm glad the big 3 experiment is over, and it's a shame it cost us LaVert Allen Dinwiddie D-LO and draft capital. I think this team would have been better off using that core over the past few years, as opposed to chasing the stars. I'm glad we got Spencer back though, big fan of his game.
Dallas and Phoenix this past deadline became worse despite adding the immense talents of Kyrie, and Durant. Yes, defense wins games and it is still a team sport. They gave up too much, and essentially dismantled a good thing on both their rosters for the sake of a name on the back of a jersey to be the savior. Dinwiddie and DFS bring a lot to the table, as did Cam and Bridges on the Suns. I will give it to Marks that he kept a cool head while trading Kyrie and Durant on the fly, and what he brought back made the best of a bad situation.
If Ben can be his old self and run the PG, that's gonna be very interesting
True.
He wont and has one of the worst sports contract in the world
they have a chance to be one of the better teams in the conference next year
I agree. Watch out for the Spurs and rockets too
Shaedon Sharpe big potential all-star caliber in the FUTURE
Yesssssss
Love Mikal Bridges - I want my SunS to go back and get him...somehow. Good vid!
Thank u.
Before KD and Kyrie we had a great developmental staff. We need that back. Cam Thomas should be a 6th man at the very least. We also need a PF that can rebound and shoot. Ive been a Nets fan for 23 years. We've always needed that😅
And your bench was really good too.
Thank you for the great compliment for We The North gladly appreciate it! Here's a sub 1:16
Thanks for watching
That Joe Harris signing was from 18... Brooklyn can't possibly keep DFS without getting a legit PG... Chris Paul maybe... reunited... but they can and should build around Nic, Bridges and 6-8 Cam
Very true. I love nic defensive game. Bridges is also very good. This team could easily get stacked
They sure do
I agree your point, Nets dont need to make big deal.
Thanks for watching.
You talked a lot about Mika’s brigdes so that means he should not get traded and he also has a lot of skill
🙌
Thank u
Harris was an absolute dump truck in the playoffs
It's really all up to Ben if he can just avg 15 points defend assist and rebound this team will be elite... I think they should definitely try to keep seth curry and give cam more minutes
Yep
@nbaswish we don't need Ben to be a shooter we have plenty of that just drive the damn ball it will open your teammates for easy threes it's that simple
Nah he prolly won’t even do that, I mean he’s averaging 6,6 and 6, and as of now he’s already started his fake off season workout.
Harris didn’t sign an extension lol what?
as a nets fan shut up about the mikal bridges trade rumors theres no reason why we would trade him all what we need is a power forward that averages like 25 and 10+ with good defense and that would make us a top 3 team in the league
Yeah it makes me annoyed too bro
@@palaherk2955 👍
Detroit Pistons your next video NBA Swish 😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂
Got it.
Release curry, Harris, Sharpe, summer, Dinwiddie, brown, dru Smith, Simmons and acquired a championship experienced fr other teams like Kuzma, Howard, kawhi leonard, serge ibaka, Norman Powell, etc...
Definitely need to let patty go, Harris can go and sharpe, if dinwiddie go, get a really good Pg cause he is solid he just do too much sometimes.
😂😂 He made his mind up hes going to Miami 😂😂
That's awesome. I can't wait
Lots of excellent players but no superstars. 41-41
Finally someone who knows and understands that we are not a bad team. The media loves to act like losing kd and ky was the end of us, but I honestly believe we got better 🤷🏾♂️
Thanks @steve3174.
we finna come out the east a top 4 seed and everyone gonna be all surprise
@@Jamellii yep
dame on the nets? oh yeah thats an squad they'll be shooting at an high clip just their bench hmm idk rather have him with the heat
Would love him to go to the heat
If Dame goes to Heat then would the Nets take Herro as the 3rd team?
Nets get
Tyrese haliburton
Myles turner
T. J. McConnell
Pacers get
Spencer Dinwiddie
Dorian Finney-Smith
Cameron Johnson
Dariq Whitehead
1 first pick 2 rnd picks
Ben Simmons pg
Tyrese haliburton sg
Mikal Bridges sf
Darius Bazley pf
Myles turner C
Nic Claxton
Jalen Wilson
T.j McConnell
Dennis smith jr
Lonnie walker
Cam Thomas
Noah Clowney PF
Jalen Wilson
Trade cam Thomas for CJ macholum
Finally, a team Portland would want to trade with. I would take Simmons, Whitehead, Clowney and two firsts for Dame, we could also Take Royce O'Neale's contract for more cap space for ya'll. Both teams win. I'd even come down from that trade and trade ya'll Dame for less than what the Heat offer just to stick it to the Heat after the bushleague trash they've pulled.
Great analysis. Thanks for sharing your ideas
Keep Royce let go of Seth patty mills and curry can go. I want joe out but we need a solid spot up shooter and he can do that while not being that trash on defense lol.. if you don’t have great role players your team will fail so we just need a star. If we could get Wiggins or draymond, guys like jrue holiday. We need vets that won
True.
Ben SImmons is gonna do nothing except sit his ass down on the bench while he continues to collect all that contract money. Meanwhile, the Nets are gonna rebuild...again. Talk about a fall from grace. The Nets were favored to win the finals and then all of a sudden they were just another team if that. Thats what happens when you allow superstars to do whatever the hell they want.
Thankfully, that era of NBA is over. The era of stacking teams, switching teams, egos galore, no defense, chucking threes, ticky tack fouls, etc is over! The NBA is watchable again and there is more parity than ever. New superstars coming in while the old ones are on their way out.
Should I do a video that Ben Simmons could benefit if signed with these teams
Agree if ben simmons comes back in all star level and we get Dam dollars we are going to be problem
Hopefully Ben Simmons comes back ready.
With 3/5 of your starters being Mikal, Claxton, & Cam they will always be a very good defense. They need a high level shot creator and possibly bring in someone like Dillon brooks possibly? They’d be in championship contention with a lineup such as
PG: Dame
SG: Brooks
SF: Cam
PF: Bridges
C: Claxton
3 knockdown shooters and ELITE defense
That would be sick.
If they trading for dame Nurkić would be included so he would be starting over Clax
@@mistahj218 no way in the same trade. That’s just too much money going out to be doing a deal with the nets
@@nbaswish who are they trading to get dame
@@nbaswish who from Brooklyn…I thought the comment was trying to get Dame to Brooklyn
Yea stupid trade
Photoshop Ben cant play but hes great at making hype videos.
😂
Yeah the nets arnt making the playoffs
Lol.
Nets just made the playoffs bro wdym lol
@@yungleek6295 yeah but most of the games that they won this year we're with KD and Kyrie and neither one of them is on the roster. They were under 500 after they traded them they're just not a good team
@@keldenrobertson7894 true, I forgot Kyrie and KD got traded
@@keldenrobertson7894 they were a complete new team & they wanted to tank. Spence said they not trained together the first 3 weeks
I think this team is solid. Net just miss one pure scorer
Rough few years they had the top three guys in basketball. What do you mean rough they’ll never get Lillard bro you’re getting paid by the Portland trailblazers to say that.
Lol. He's going to the Miami heat. I'm getting paid by the heat. Lmao
@@nbaswish ya thats probably what is going to happen. Especially after tonights game. I would like if he did.
What happened to Yuta and Patty?
Oh yeah..they are not Americans so they were left out.
Wait....Ben is Australian...so WTF?
☝🏻have no comment on this. Let’s go there @leo
@@nbaswish OK.
