The Eclipse...the UFP's first Star Destroyer class.... Up against the Excalibur class, the evolution of the Star Destroyer platform. Chef's Kiss, indeed....
Hey Admiral.. gosh the Excalibur looks amazing and the Concept Ent G.. wow.. nice ships.. gosh.. they all are.. The christened Ent G.. I do hope Seven did make upgrades and hmm used the tech from Voyager lol. never know.. Saw a video with Voyager B, and the nacelles move when jumping to warp , even better.. sorry rambling lol. 😨Gosh the Concept didn't last eeh. and took out the sens''ors lol of the Ent G.. jeepers.. Blimey.. transwarp version of the Excalibur. I forgot that one.. amazing ships and battles gosh.. Yes.. This Ent G, is the real deal.. and would love to see on screen and the others.. gosh.. nice battle Admiral!!😊🖖 *Yes the Excalibur could carry many fighters.. look at Voyager, how much room did the shuttle bays have gosh lol!
Not surprised how quickly the Neo Connie G was taken out lol. I will NEVER accept that as the G. Starfleet had a whole YEAR and could have easily build the Eclipse class and have it as the G. Such a wasted opportunity really. I laughed when you lost sensors and the camera angles was just showing the G unleashing phasers and torpedoes on you then blew up lol. I watched it a couple of times for that segment lol. I am surprised the Eclipse G is immune to the transwarp torpedoes. It definitely just pissed it off even more when you fired them at it lmao. I too have renewed appreciation for the Eclipse G. The concept G is still a little weird to me. I too wonder if shields failed if weaponry would pass through the saucer section.
I don't have the Excalibur yet but now that I have seen it in action! I love it! I wonder how it would do against the Simitar! Thx for the introductiin to this ship! 🖖
The phasers of the Eclipse Class are [Chef's Kiss]. They are what the Type XII should be in terms of power balancing compared to ships of the 2370s as a Starbase caliber weapon mounted on a ship. Just tearing ships up.
I've never seen the concept Enterprise-G before, and while it looks pretty futuristic, I will never be fond of giant holes in the primary hull. Otherwise, the Excalibur proved itself a mighty ship indeed.
The one and only real Enterprise-G, takes on pretty much everything and comes out victorious, so nice to see the new canon version get wiped from existence 😉😁
That Excalibur is really underpowered in its phasers and shields for its size, I kinda got my hopes up after its victory against the jemhadar but I know I shouldn't be suprised it struggled.
Ent-G mods in BC (Remastered) should include the Neo Connie III, the Concept/Shattered Timeline Ent-G, DJ's Eclipse Class........ and the Independence Class (which was updated to be the Ent-H in KM)😅
Do any of the ships have that Q-shielding that the USS Voyager got during that one episode where there is a Q Civil War? 3:00 I can only say for certain that it allows one to hit the bridge better from both sides of the saucer. One of the reasons as to why I don't like the USS Vengeance.
Would love to see more of the Excalibur class. Put a few up against one or both types of DS9? Send multiple of every type of Cardassian ship against it? Could be fun :) Send one of every Borg ship at it? (Hell, yeah!) See how it fares against the Scimitar? (Ooohh! Yes please!!) Edit: Forgot to say, while using multi-targeting, if that's possible with the version you use.
My favorite version of Excalibur is in the Borg Incursion mod for Armada 1. The one in the Millennium Project mod has transwarp, but I put transwarp on the Incursion version (poet and didn't know it) as well. Very good in Armada almost op.
With regard to whether weapons fire might pass through the hole in the Enterprise concept: I think that's the whole idea behind this hole in the first place! Since The Undiscovered Country, we know that the Enterprise's dining facilities are quite vulnerable not only to Romulan Ale, but also to photon torpedoes. So making a hole into the sauer section close to where they used to be be design will definitely confuse the enemy a lot.
Hi RBG! 👋 In an earlier video (like a week or two ago), you commented that the Defiant vs Regency One on-screen battle was the most plot armored battle in all of Star Trek. I respectfully disagree. I think the honor of that title belongs to the battle of the Enterprise-G (then the Titan-A) versus the entire Federation fleet! Cloak or no cloak, it's such an underwhelming ship compared to most of its predecessors! I bet the Enterprise-C could take on the Canon Enterprise-G, despite the quantum torpedo advantage. Besides, the Defiant/Maquis raider vs Regency One battle happened in the mirror universe, so maybe the Defiant and Maquis raider had mirror-universe upgraded weaponry we just didn't know about. Seriously though, the battle in the Picard series finale was just absurd! 🖖
@BoopdaBeep I'm happy to accept that! 😂 You are correct. That was absolutely nuts, as well as that the Cloak was seriously out of date by that point. The Borg of all people would know exactly how to scan for that ship. Voyager was able to find the older cloaked Klingon ship with a multi-phasic scan. Certainly possible about the Defiant/Maquis raider. The Terrans usually had more devastating weaponary. I remember an old Novel read by John De Lancie, set in the Mirror Universe. It described the Terran Empire Galaxy Class as having 2 or 3 warp cores! 🖖
Irk's me that you don't ensure the power levels don't flick about as you swipe them all to max, sometimes it gets REALLY close to you being on reduced power, really KEEP checking power.
As much as the cannon Enterprise G - should and was going to be the Picard , I don’t see Starfleet sending them out without upgrading the shields and weapons on the Constitution Neo III , Flagship .
I like to believe the Excalibur was not meant to be a massive dreadnought warship, but instead a mobile Starbase. Perhaps for a deep space expedition out into unknown space, it being the centerpiece of a fleet. It has tons of hangers, and room for massive cargo bays for supplies, and industrial replicators. With a escort of Starfleet ships at its side, it keeping them supplied/maintained, it would be a deep space force to be reckoned with.
It should be noted that the Galaxy class Enterprise D was supposed to play a similar role to the Excalibur. Its why its so huge, the centerpiece of a deep space fleet. But the TNG show writers decided against a deep space expedition, for episodic episodes. Think Battlestar Galactica remake, but with a Galaxy class.
whoever gets the rights to do the next star trek after secret hideout, should retcon all of the picard series. Star Fleet intel would not have left the 100 yr old waterlogged klingon cloaking device on Kirk's bird of prey when it was recovered. They should either go back to the Enterprise F under Capt. Shon( the one from sto) or the eclipse class the real Enterprise G under capt. Seven of Nine.
Here again a huge skimetar and a huge Klingon ship are maneuvering at the level of modern fighters so that these giants could maneuver like that they should have a mass effect field besides the shield which made the ships almost inert but not one race seemed to have such a field or I missed something I don’t know the fact that the ships can’t maneuver like that it’s 100 percent done for evil and yes if someone writes that they have fancy maneuvering engines there no according to the lore the Fidirations have solid maneuvering engines yes everyone does I don’t think that they were able to make some kind of super mega maneuvering engines that can make a ship the size of a continent maneuver like the fighters from Star Wars they don’t have such technologies
The canon USS Titan-A / Enterprise-G shouldn't be able to beat the Enterprise-D, let alone the E or F, or probably even survive one of those crazy volley from the Excalibur. It shouldn't have the quantum torpedoes here, it's shield level and phasers are way too high, and it's hull rating is absurd, especially since it's a relatively small ship; seems like some fanboy couldn't help themselves and just put all the stats up while doing something else with their other hand. The Titan-A should be able to be smacked around by volleys of photon torpedoes.... just like how it routinely got its ass kicked in the show. Edit: wait what happened to the phase quantum torpedoes? and why replace them with these transwarp torps?
Repulsion torpedoes make zero sense to me. Firstly, if they worked, you'd absolutely kill everyone onboard as they'd turn into liquid and/or vapor the moment the ship got thrown away at those high speeds (so the fight would be instantly over). Secondly, even for scifi, the tech doesn't make a lot of sense. Imagine the energy and technology design required to move a ship into (trans)warp and now consider that instead of giant (trans)warp engines with a massive (trans)warp core, you have a small torpedo that can penetrate shields and do the same as the entire collection of technology and energy production and management of the a ship against the will of the operators.
The *Eclipse Class* is not only the king of all the Enterprise Gs, but always has been, and always shall be, the King of our Hearts.
😊👌
That's why Kurtzman is killing STAR TREK, he doesn't know what he's doing.
The Eclipse...the UFP's first Star Destroyer class....

So glad you referred to the Elcipse class as the “Real” Enterprise G!
RBG is a Reverse Kirk. He takes certain victory and turns it into a lost cause. I salute you, good sir! 🖖

To bad The Mighty Jingles doesn't do Bridge Commander vids. RGB would perfectly fit into the "A game of throws" series😅

both of those ships look far better than the Titan/Enterprise G but that Excalibur looks like a sovereign class on steroids 😂

Battle suggestion independents day alien mother ship vs star gate ships
I thought the Galaxy could fire a lot of torpedoes
looking at the Excalibur as The Riddler from batman forever said "Now thats impressive"
The concept Enterprise G almost looks like it could be a prime universe Vengeance class
I would like to see dark prime galaxy class against another one and or dark prime voyager or defiant.
I hope it is possible

Gotta do the USS ARIZONA
Hey @RetroBadgerGaming.
Can you add Excalibur Refit (even Godmode) against All Enterprise G and Jem'Hadar Battleship (5 of it).
Not wanting to point out the obvious but you have one hell of a crush on the real Enterprise G 😂
I still prefer the Venture-Class design by Madeinjapan1988 as the true Enterprise-G.
The Picard Enterprise G kind of sucks, I don't know what they were thinking.
Voyager-J vs Excalibur (or a fleet of them)
Voyager J wins easy.
Excalibur-Class uses FULL SPREAD! It´s very effective!
How big is the Excalibur class?? Its quantum torpedoes look tiny compared to other ships torpedoes...
Length:1219.3 meters
Width:549 meters
Height:261 meters
Specifications
Decks:52
ISD star wars is 1600m long. So ISD is 4,800', EXC is 3,660'
That last G so featureless. Looks like serving of yogurt on a white plastic spoon.

The Excalibur originally have special torpedoes that were even stronger than quantum torpedoes?

Yes it's the TITAN-A. Not the ENT G.
