Shakespeare would roll out of his grave, walk into the theater, and get a great laugh out of it! Seriously! Literally me
Can we talk about how athpo is barely out of high school and already doing stuff like this. He’s absolutely living the life.
Eh
When I saw Anthpo I exploded with hype!
8illy too!
“I think I did a little too much trolling” was hands down the best line in the play
It was so fucking good
TRUE
: (
Last time there were old people In the fucking audience, imagine.
The fact it was said by Altrive had me dead
"You go to therapy with that ass?" is by far the best pick-up line I've ever heard
I tried it out, they filed a restraining order for some reason. People are crazy these days
The fucking Raid: Shadow Legends Emotion scene feels like a fever dream.
It reminds me of a scene in '[YTP] Avengers Ensemble', where Thor asks Loki if he remembers playing Fortnite together, then gets enraged when Loki notes that he remembers Raid: Shadow Legends, and demands that Loki will "give up this poisonous game!"
I feel like doing an entire play unrehearsed would be the most fun thing ever, and watching this definitely made my day, I was laughing the whole time.
CHIAKI
It sounds like it would be crazy fun, I’ve watched this video 4 times now
@@plantyt3246 ikr
It’s just a LARP
As someone who acts in drama school its hilarious to see a play without a script
31:58 "I think I did a little too much trolling, I forgot to tell him-" my favorite line. Absolute banger of a video
Best line
Comedy Genius
love the fact that friar laurence is wearing a link costume. like, "idfk, just wear something historical" and he showed up with that. (also, this is a pretty accurate representation of the time my english class tried to perform scenes from romeo and juliet. i'll spare the details, but there was a sword fight with scissors at one point so that pretty much tells you all you need to know about how that production went down)
This is my first time actually watching the story of Romeo and Juliet. Time to write my essay based on this.
What did you get as a grade
my teacher didnt like it :( i personally thought it was a great story ngl
@@milesbuss4856 You're still a legend for doing it😁
@@cryfly1 a good joke is a good joke leave them alone
It's a funny concept at the very least
Friar Altrive walking in and seeing Jacob Montague's dead body and saying "I think I did a little too much trolling" was the best part of this for me
It's funnier if you imagine he is Pikmin 4
Actually that was joker person 5 acting as Zelda acting as altrive
I also did Romeo and Juliet earlier this year, among many professionals with 30 years of experience in theatre. I confirm this is a thousand times better.
Ouch.
I love that this rendition of R&J captures the same kind of energy that Shakespearean comedies were meant to have when they were originally performed lol
I love that Alpharad references check yes Juliet, such a good song
I listened to it because of this comment and now it’s one of my favorites, thank you
31:58 is an absolute masterpiece in scriptwriting. Notice how he looks both distressed yet confident in his voice. True kino right here
Jules fricken killed his part, best part of the show when he's on stage
So true.
anthpo too

Wait did you say a funeral? BALLOONS, A BOUNCE HOUSE, A PARTY
You know, Jacob apologized on twitter for his branch in content, but I personally love this, its so fun watching these different kinds of videos.
Jacob: "I'm sorry about my content changing"
Everyone: "We see your apology, and raise you a thank you for changing your content"
I'm honnestly surprised at how seemlessly we went from Smash clips to a play/improv.
I don't think he has a good reason to apologize. It's interesting to see what other ideas go through that brain of his
I mean win win, main channel is just a mixing pot of amazing stuff, then we got alpharad deluxe for the gaming goodness
I get that he apologizes for changing how he uploads videos to the Alpharad channel, but this is basically an upgrade.
I'm 21 years old, and I'm a theatre major. I have read Romeo and Juliet 4 times in my life and I unironically love "Romeo + Juliet"...
This made my day. It made my week, even. It is so good.
Romeo + Juliet is such a great and awesome movie honestly

This is a little something I like to call, a 'temporal localization'. Keeping the theme and spirits of a piece of media, by changing it to fit a modern context.

An improvement.
