You absolutely need to take your wife on this ship again and save up for a Sky (Junior) Suite with access to the retreat. Why? 1. Adults only 2. 24 hr concierge service 3. The retreat loungers are have 6-inch-thick memory foam. An attended makes up your longer with towels. 4. Private pool and hot tub just for retreat guests. This has a 2 level sun deck. 5. Private specialty restaurant "The Luminae". We at there for every meal. 6. Private pool bar with attendants catering to your every need. This includes an area for light snacks and such. 7. Private lounge area with a full bar, hors D'oeuvres., snacks and relaxing amenities. The lounge starts serving drinks at 6 am and stops at 2am the next day. Unlike Carnival it is truly unlimited, no limit. And they pour without measuring. Tip them nice once and you get 3-5 ounces per drink, not the measured "thimble" amount like on Carnival. 8. Retreat guests get complimentary premium package. The video below says "whether you have a drink package or not". That incorrect. The package comes with being a retreat guest. Me too! Living in Los Angeles I am exposed to tons of international food but not much French. I grew up with a single dad and don’t know my moms side of the family, but am always told I am part French from that side and would love to learn more about the food and culture.

My wife and I boarded Celebrity Beyond on the same day that you were offboarding! We had an amazing, wonderful time!!! This is my favorite ship! We saw some of our favorite crew on this video, like Jonarie from Cafe al Bacio. We saw her every day and she provided amazing service!
The jewelry charm It's a locket if you go to the jewelry store every day they will give you a free charm to put inside of it, I think it may be at a certain time only it should say on a card somewhere in the room

We cruised celebrity once before we had kids. It was a 12 day cruise and we found it to be a much older crowd. We were in our early 30’s at the time and most cruisers were over 60.
My husband have cruised with Celebrity twice- once on the Solstice, to Alaska, and once on the Edge, to the Eastern Caribbean, right before the pandemic hit. The Beyond looks absolutely gorgeous! Lauren looks positively radiant. I hope you get to have dinner at Eden- we had a beautiful dinner there and the food was amazing. The entertainment in the restaurant was incredible too! Hope you have a wonderful time!
Omf the chocolate tarts from cafe baccio stole my heart on their summit ship.😢 Ive only been on celebrity summit and msc meraviglia and celebrity wins 100%! Way more included like free coffee and desserts, better food, better bar service, an actual club! And so much more artistic and sophisticated. Love celebrity sm

It's a locket that you Lauren can go to the Effy shop everyday to get a little trinket to put in it. There should be a pamphlet for each days time. Celebrity is A+ in my book!!!
We sailed on the Celebrity Edge in 2021. We absolutely loved it! It was the first sailing after covid and there were only approx 432 passengers (my count could be off a bit); four of which were children. The most relaxing cruise we have ever taken. The rooftop garden was, without a doubt, our favorite place to relax and spend time. Edge is also a beautiful ship. You must try Le Petit Chef. It is sooo fun! We also enjoyed all the different main dining rooms as well as the buffet. I have seen many videos regarding food at Eden. It should be complimentary during lunchtime. The food looked amazing. We didn't love the Mast Grill. Felt it was a bit of a letdown compared to all the wonderful food we had on board. We hope to sail sometime this year on Celebrity Beyond and hope we are blessed to sail with Captain Kate. Enjoy your cruise!
What a beautiful ship! After sailing on Silhouette about 3 weeks ago I can't wait to go on the Beyond in the future. And I totally get Lauren's reaction to the comedian. English is not my first language and the hardest thing was understanding stand-up comedy in English. I think it's a combination of the language barrier and cultural differences in humor. I remember the very first time I was able to understand a stand-up comedian in English felt like a huge triumph to me knowing my English was getting better. Learning a new language is hard work. Lauren you rock!

Just recently finished a week on the Celebrity Beyond ship. Agree with everything you said! It's a beautiful ship, the service is excellent and food is delicious. My odd critique is the DJ music, especially late night in The Club. It's definitely an older crowd and the music is basically a wedding playlist.

Seems like lots of people have been trying out Celebrity lately. I can’t blame them. After my 1st one a few years ago, they’ve become my favorite. Got a 3rd in a couple weeks with a 4th on the Beyond next year to have tried out each ship class. Really love the quality, the chillaxing and open-minded vibes, the demographics, and the sophistication it brings. Really the only major downside for me is pricing if anything for me.
The jewelry in your cabin is a promotional thing. They give you one piece from the designer Effy and you are suppose to pay to collect the other pieces to go with it. They had a similar thing on Princess and we forgot all about it until we got back home.
I decided that overall I would not like those window balcony things b/c a) we can't get away from our kids and b) to enjoy the breeze, it means that your a/c turns off and the mugginess gets into the room. So I definitely prefer a real balcony, with full 'weather seal' from cabin.
Love Celebrity - definitely my favorite cruiseline. It’s my go to cruiseline. I have been on the Edge but have not yet sailed the Beyond. Love, Captain Kate and her cat!

We're going on Apex, the sister ship of Beyond, for the second time this summer. I love the Edge Class ships! Beyond has made some improvements to the overall design that I really like, and I assume Ascent will have even more!

That thing that you did not want to touch is a free locket from Effy jewelers. They want you to go to their jewelry store each day to get a free charm that goes inside the locket period of course each day you visit them, they want you to buy something also! It is a great advertising gimmick!
