Yes for Flight line. This vlog made me excited and so happy. I didn't want the vlog to end. I just want to live inside Safari park. I was thinking about doing one of those Safari park Caravan tours. The one where you feed the Giraffes. Out of my 4 full days. I will go twice to Safari park.
im going there on 4th of july with my boyfriend which iis pretty soon. i recommend you should do flight line safari, ive done it before a few years ago :)
There are places inside the park where you can pay for the extra activities, but keep in mind that capacities fill up and there may not be availability if you don’t book online at least 2 weeks ahead of time.
The petting zoo is open now. There’s just a security fence for animals if they don’t want to be petted they can go on the other side of the fence to get away from people. I think you can feed giraffes. It’s a paid Safari experience.
That Bat House, Benbough Amphitheater, and Lemur Walk has been closed since Covid and haven’t reopened. So I don’t expect it to change soon. Everything else is open as far as I’m aware.
It fluctuates. It could be 70, it could be 50. If it's rainy, it'll be near the 50s. This year is supposed to be an El Nino year, so I would expect a higher amount of rain and lower temps. Unless you're from somewhere where you'd expect single digit temps in March, you'll likely need a jacket for the mornings and evenings, but will likely shed them during the hottest part of the day.
I went out to the Cart Safari last year and had a lot of fun. Of all the extra VIP experiences the Cart Safari was my favorite and I got a ton of really good reference shots for my artwork. The staff was really personal and took the time to talk to each of us and learn what we wanted out of the safari which I was really impressed with. Sadly the extra VIP experiences at the zoo got measured against the Cart Safari and the Zoo let me down for the 3 VIP experiences that I did there. ( Cheetah encounter, Inside Dogs, Animals in Action) The animals in action I was really put out with the fact that it relied heavily on feeding experiences which I was there for reference shots and didn't want my gear all full of animal slobber, so I didn't get what I thought I was paying for.
Glad you had a good time on the Cart Safari and sorry to hear about the others. I haven’t done too many paid experiences, but I’d like to at some point as funds allow.
Is the cart safari a separate fee for the entrance? We are thinking of going this weekend, we have never been so we are trying to figure out how it works, or if the Cart safari is worth it? :)
Cart Safari is a paid experience. The Africa Tram is a free thing that’s similar but not as personal or up close. The Wildlife Safari takes you in trucks right up next to the animals in the exhibits and lets you feed giraffes. The Cart Safari is more like a tour in a golf cart like vehicle. Africa Tram is a “ride” at the Safari park that goes on a 30 minute loop around the outside of the largest savannah they have there with a variety of animals and they tell you about them. But you are at quite a distance from them. But it’s also free (and can be crowded with 60 minute waits if you don’t do it first thing)
My husband and I are doing the Roar and Snore this Saturday. And we up graded so hubby is doing the flight line. I will let you know next week how it was
@@SoCalDisneyDad this is the 3rd time we have done it . We get the tent with the bed due to the fact I have back problems. They have tents that have cots for the boys. It is worth it.
If you’ve never been to the Zoo, I’d say go there. Especially with the new Wildlife Explorers Basecamp (it blew me away on how good it is). If you have been to the Zoo, but never the Safari Park, then go there as it’s still an awesome place to go and the Africa Tram is fantastic. If you’ve never been to either, I’d still choose the Zoo.
I haven’t been on any. But we are doing the Deluxe Flightline Safari next Saturday. The Wildlife Safari is the one that feeds the giraffes and we debated between the two but I’d like to go ziplining. 😆

About the Spanish comment
Thanks for talking about. Good to know I can take my old school grandma.
Glad to be of help!
Quick question can I pay for the separate attractions when I get there or does it have to be bought online ?

At Disneyland the Tram is back to Normal

Yup! We saw signs of that on our last visit. Will be reporting on it on Sunday!
Is feeding giraffes available now? Looks like petting is still limited. Tempted to do cart caravan. Still debating on that.

Thanks for the video. My wife and I are coming down in April. Will more of the Safari park be open? It appeared that attractions were closed?

How is the weather in San Diego in March?

@@mavila1227 I've done the cart safari just be prepared to drive a long time. It was totally worth it and very interesting.

Please do! I’d love to hear about Roar and Snore as well. It’s something we’ve thought about doing.

For a day trip, would you rather do the zoo or the safari park? We are going in the beginning of April. Would appreciate your opinion.

Which Safari have you been on? Any that you prefer over the others? Do you get to feed/pet the giraffes?

Nevermind the Flight Line, I'd rather see you do an Asian Savanna Cart Safari. I miss that part of the park now that the monorail is gone.
Thanks for the recommend!
Sadly news if you didn’t know Izu Passed away last month 😭💔
The Safari Park is better
I think so! We love the Safari park.
