Wonderful video! 4:00 CBD capsules work 10x better than Ibuprofen and is so much healthier for the gut. Ibuprofen burns away at stomach lining so be careful with taking too much of it or any at all for that matter. I quit Ibuprofen 5 years ago and am incredibly thankful I did because it had already caused a kidney stone after taking it here and there for 20 years. Take care. ❤
Parking in on a hill so be prepare to walk up hill if you don't get a spot in one of the first rows. There is a little tramp in the parking lot that takes you to the main entrance but it is always a long wait times and it is better to just walk up. Also, this area town gets really hot not just in the summer so bring plenty of water and sunscreen. One more tip, if you have a family member with a disability that cannot stand in line for the Africa Tram you can ask for a return time pass at the umbrella by the tram entrance.
For your next video, could you do videos focusing on the wildlife presentations in the two parks? I would recommend the Wildlife Wonders at Wegeforth Bowl in the San Diego Zoo and Journey into the Wild at Benbough Amphitheater in the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
Please do a similar video of the zoo. We are coming to California in June and plan to spend most of our time at Disney and Universal but want to take one day to drive down to San Diego because my mother wants to see it. Love your videos.
I plan to! I should be filming it this Saturday, though my release schedule won't see it publish until about mid-January. Either way, it's coming! Hope you have an awesome trip.
I think that might depend on how many trams they have running. Because we’ve waited 20 minutes before and were already halfway through the “inside” portion.
These videos are coming out at the perfect time! I'm going to the zoo, safari park, and SeaWorld next week for the first time. I seriously can't thank you enough for these! Question: I'm coming from the otherside of the country for these parks, so I'd like to do a safari on top of the tram. Which one do you reccomend? I can't decide 😅
Thank you for the Super Chat! We loved the Deluxe Flightline Safari because you got to do the zipline, PLUS you got a 30-minute Asia Cart Safari built into it. It's like two paid safaris in one. The regular Flightline is just the zipline. We haven't done any of the others, but if I had to pick one other one we'd like to try it's the Wildlife Safari which gets you upclose to Giraffes and Rhinos. I believe that was the safari we saw while on the Africa Tram. But if you want a safari that goes around the Asian Passage, which is only accessible by paid safari, then it's either the Asian Cart Safari or the Deluxe Flightline Safari.
Great video! We're going there in 3 days! We're so excited! We got the deluxe wildlife safari tour. Should we still ride the Africa tram? Will we see more stuff that can only be seen by the Africa tram? TIA
I love my Okapi. That made my day. So so cute. Along with the tiger cubs. Glad you went back. I love it there. It's so pretty. The walk about Australia both days I went was closed. Not sure why. My next San Diego trip will probably be February 2025. If I can wait that long. 🦍🐅🦓🦒🐘🦏🦘
Awesome video,we are going in the end of August….5 days ,we plan on 2 days at SeaWorld, 1 day at the zoo, 1 day in the Safari…and we will do the upgraded safari..and the last day at a beach….
Visiting back home to cali in March and planning to go the Safari or san diego zoo. Have still to decide on which one. I have been to the zoo already but my kid hasn't gone to neither yet. I think the safari is more friendly when you got a toddler on a stroller though.
The Safari park is definitely flatter. Lots of hills and steep inclines at the Zoo where you don’t want to be pushing a stroller uphill. That said, if it’s been at least 5-6 years since you’ve gone, they have added Africa Rocks to the lower valley, and it has a much more gradual incline back to the top. They’ve also added an elevator and bridge at the top connecting both sides.
@@SoCalDisneyDad yeah ima go with safari. Never done it myself and i remember the zoo did have a lot of incline. Thank you for the video, very informative!
Thank you so much for the insights! I will go in mid May. I wonder if you know any shuttle option from Hotel Circle area to Safari Park during a weekday? Google Map says it takes 2 hours on public transit, so is taking Uber the only option if I don't plan to rent a car? Thanks!
I remember visiting many years ago and going with the gated truck extra tour. I seem to remember it was about 3 hours, and we got to feed the giraffe's leaves, and they stopped at an outpost within the tour where they provided lunch. It doesn't appear to be offered on the menu now, unfortunately 😢
The Wildlife Safari used to have the giraffe feeding. I know it stopped for COVID, but I’m not sure if they’ve resumed that or not. They have like 6 different versions of the Wildlife Safari so one of them might be closer to what you’re describing.
Can you do a guide for the san diego zoo I am going to san diego for a vacation and I am going to the zoo on June 17 and I would like to know what to do on my first trip to the zoo
I really enjoy your videos and I was born and raised in San Diego but now live in Wyoming but out of my own curiosity where in San Diego do you all live?
We are going to the safari park in June (and then driving up to Disneyland and Universal). Any recommendations on where to stay near the safari park? We’ll be in the area two days. Thanks for the great videos!
U forgot hummerbir landing and the Kommando Dragons...I will definitely come back and IF I DO, CAN I HIRE U GUYS AS MY GUIDE SO I DON'T GET STUCK @ THE BOTTOM HALF? LOLOL...
Whoa the prices are absolutely ridiculous for a zoo.I lived in nyc and went the Bronx zoo all my life and I never paid more than $20 a ticket not to mention every Wednesday you get in free just donate what you want... guess i won't be going to the zoo until I make a visit back home
I was watching this for funsies, and I just realized I was your tram driver! Thanks for all the love to the park!
How did you start working for the park if you don’t mind me asking?
Going to the safari park next week and this video was EXTREMELY helpful!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!
I LOVE THE SAFARI PARK!!!! I NEED TO VIVIT AGAIN!!!!
Thanks so much for this video. We are headed there next Friday. Your info and insight will be very handy when we are there. Be well!
Thank you for this! I’m planning on going here within a few days time, and this just answered all of my questions. :)
Thanks for the tips!❤
Great video
I'm looking forward to driving to the San Diego Wild Animal Park.☺️ To see many animals.😎👍👍
My fav place...I do miss the Watering hole place...Happy New Year

My family waited through all the switchbacks of the Africa Tram and it was only a 30 minute wait!

Nice, haven't been since it was called the WIld Animal Park and planning on going sometime this year.
Which Safari would you recommend? Would it be better to walk around the park first and then do a safari or do that safari first?

The tigers were the absolute cutest. Too bad we arrived almost as soon as they got tuckered out from playing, but so happy we got to see them.

Do you have any advice for extra ad on safari or cart - is it worth the price?

We live in El Cajon
Nice! I grew up in Lemon Grove! My dad still lives in the same house I grew up in on San Altos Place!

Can you bring food into the Safari Park?
Yes! We do all the time. They don’t check. There’s no security checkpoint. Just ticket scanning.
👍
Can you tell me which are the best gift shops in the safari park ?
The Bazaar at the Safari Base Camp area is the best option.
Do they allow wagons for toddlers?
Do they charge for handicapped parking?
U forgot hummerbir landing and the Kommando Dragons...I will definitely come back and IF I DO, CAN I HIRE U GUYS AS MY GUIDE SO I DON'T GET STUCK @ THE BOTTOM HALF? LOLOL...
That’s at the Zoo, not the Safari Park. I have plans to do a Zoo guide at some point. I think it’ll be another 2 weeks or so though.
Is one day enough??
For sure. One day is plenty.
