As leader of an elite unit, tasked with protecting the imperial family, Zhou Zi Shu (Zhang Zhe Han) was not a man to be taken lightly. No no, this is just what made it past the censors lol (okay granted, the English is sometimes a bit more suggestive than the Chinese but really not by much). The script was apparently way more scandalous, and the director toned it down. Then they toned it down more when dubbing the audio. People have done lip readings to find out what the actors said and they are wild.
The level of flirting was 999%😂😂😂I love WKX so much.

But also, i gotta give another point back to Word of honor, and it seems like a lot of people missed this. in ep … 18??, WKX calls ZZS “my dear” in the subtitles - but what he actually said was an archaic way of calling someone your husband… he literally said “husband Zhou”
I guess the censors didn’t know enough historical Chinese (I don’t know what period of time it came from) bc otherwise I don’t understand how that passed!

It's from the chinese idiom, "the mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind". They have just been talking about it so maybe wkx means that he is the ignorant one therefore he is afraid of ghost. I think it is self derogatory and a jest.
