Looks great man! This may help with your "hot pan" issue...I bought a 10 pair pack of cheap plain white cotton knit gloves from Tractor Supply, I put a pair of those on and then the latex gloves over them (for grip and to keep clean) this helps a LOT with heat and allows you to still "feel" what you're doing. I use them when pulling butts, holding steam table pans, grabbing whole briskets off the smoker, ribs...everything. Hope this helps you...keep up the good work!
Great video as usual. I was looking forward to seeing some more with your Lone Star Grill Cooks and curious if your cook times change much when you have them loaded up with all that meat versus like one brisket for example. I got to stop watching your videos so early in the morning now I feel like I need to fire up the grill and hit Sam's Club today and get some wings😊
The cook time isn't something that I really keep track of, per se. More food means longer cook time. That is just a fact. HA... My bad #SorryNotSorry don't forget to make a list and get all the things you need from Sam's at once!
@@SDSBBQs I'm actually doing a curbside pickup in a couple hours, got some of your wings and a case of pork butt to cut up and make some pork sausage plus some other items from shopping hungry online lol.
Good looking wings! Glad to see that the LSG is working out for you... I also noticed the Fireboard Pulse... how did that work out for you?... any issues?
Yes indeed I too am glad it is working well for me. I had an internet connection issue in the garage, and the last time I used the Pulse it wasn't working 100% but I've worked out the issue. And the next cook it should be working 100%.
In the past it's been fine but this last cook with the net issue it wasn't reading both temps in the app, just the "external" temp and not the temp at the probe tip.
@ the Bluetooth connection does not require an internet connection. If you were close enough it should have picked up both temp readings. That is a different issue than I had.
Dash I’m a new subscriber and I really like your channel. Maybe you’ve already done it but I would love to see some content about the business end of catering. My Memphis pellet grill is on its last legs and I would love to be able to justify buying a new toy. Cheers from Jacksonville
I do have some basic videos about the business end but I'm not trying to get myself or anyone else in trouble with what may have worked for me in my area. You know how people who talk about investing say that the thing that they are about to say is not financial advice, blah, blah, blah... I'm trying to avoid the finger point and someone saying "Well, you said do this..." So I keep things vague on purpose because what works (ed) for me might not for you and your unique situation. Plus one thing that LOTS of folks don't put into account I have been doing BBQ for others for 11 years now. That time spent in the game makes lots o the things I can do and say MUCH easier. Put, check back through some of the FAQ videos or search "SDSBBQ" and "Catering" hopefully you'll find something helpful. Other than that let me know what you want to see and maybe I can do something new and updated.
Looks delicious. Always learning. Thanks! I’ve been thinking of getting an electric smoker specifically for fish and cheeses. Have you had any major headaches using one?
I don't know how I missed this video. So how many turkeys can you do if you fill it( normally turkey breasts, just full turkeys) in one cook. Next question. You said you did 4 salmon but the picture only showed 2 salmon ( 4 full fillets). Sooo did you have another picture of more or did you miss speak? Not trying to be a "word" cop just wanting accurate counts. I'll say it again I'm so happy for you on that cooker. Last think have you started to talk to folks about orders for the super bowl 🏈 Just think how many chicken wings you could do on that smoker? I would LOVE to see all 4 grates full of wings. Just a thought. Have a great day 🌤
I could fit 16 turkeys if I "HAD" to but I'd then have to move them around a bunch because a few might be a bit too close to the firepot and burn before cooking. If I didn't I guess I need to add salmon FILETS but clearly you know what I meant. *shakes fist* LOL. You and me both are happy for that cooker. It is filling the void and the need I had with Bessie not working like she once did. I haven't talked to anyone yet about SB orders and I'm pretty sure I've made mention that wings are my least favorite thing to cook because they are labor intensive and tedious because of the number of touches I have to do with them while cooking. So, no I am not looking forward to doing wings. But maybe that's just me. Thanks as always for watching and commenting.
I'm Team both let's eat... I live in an apartment complex with a strict no fire rule unless you in the bbq area can you recommend a portable/ battery operated smoker
You definitely do the prettiest most organized rack of wings ever !
Thank you Sir!
Watching is learning. A pearl here and there always makes me a better cook. Thanks for the video and Happy New Year.

This was a game changer for me. Like this much better than the thick high heat gloves
I have and use them. I just need to get into the habit of using them every time I am cooking. I usually use them mainly when I'm doing onsite cooks.
Same same!
Every video I watch pushes me towards getting the cabinet smoker as well . The wait won't be so bad being I already have the 42 inch pellet smoker .
Aww, thanks!
#TeamFlat
Love watching these cooks for events.
Thank you Sir!
Dash...always gettin' work done...Happy New Year! 🐔🐔🔥🔥
Yes Sir! Thanks man and same to you!

LMAO! Way to make the trip worth it. I need to get some more pellets and charcoal. I might just wander over there this sfternoon or tomorrow.
This is me right now! 9:30 am and I’m about to get ready go get some wings too! 😂
@loganc1839 might as well get two packs😀

Team flats, but I'll settle for drums
Aye Yo! Right back at you and yours. I have to admit these wings were definitely smackin!

You didnt ask about #TeamBoth Bruh. 💪🏾🔥
HA, I almost made mention when I was filming to ask who eats both. I knew this comment was coming.
That Lonestar Grillz putting in some serious work wow. Are your other cabinet cookers getting any use anymore?
I've only used Vicky since I've gotten the Pellet Cabinet and that was because the Cabinet was full.

Order you some from LSG. You will like the results.
In time I will be.
When you separate your wings, do you use shears or a knife? # teamflat
I just used a knife. I've shown my process in a past video. I'll have to go back and find it for you and link it.
I’m a hard cooked drum guy myself
Duly noted! Thanks for watching and commenting.
