My god I want these picks. These must be the best picks ever because there were no cons whatsoever (apart from "the finish"). Must be absolutely excellent. And that ACE lock that you usually pick quite easily took a bit longer (than we've all seen you) with, that must've been you on an off day and definitely not the picks. Can't wait to get my hands on these amazing, seemingly perfect, picks.
Vey nice review, I love seeing these sets that are put together by locksporters, this looks to be very well put together, I haven't tried any of the lockmaster tools from Wendt and this is one set that I would love to try, thank you for sharing
try some picks from us if you can we think the changeable handles are great and the vualue for replacing a pick goes down by a lot. Not that you should need to replace them often.
Really nice set, tempted in getting something like this, but later when I'm getting better at single pin picking. At the moment my main problem is being able to understand the distance between each pin in the lock, any advice on getting a better understanding would be greatly appreciated :)
Looks like a nice set. My ss dev deep hook snapped a while ago after years of good service and the deep hook here might be a good replacement. Personally, I prefer harder steel for deep hooks or offset hybrids or things of that nature and softer for rakes and short hooks. Particularly with rakes, I think the softer steel makes it less likely to snap if you get a little over enthusiastic.
In your summary, the one turning tool on it’s side looks bent/wavy. Did it come that way or did it get deformed through use? Otherwise, thanks for the review.
Hi Ash, I thought of another lock picking myth for you to have a look at. In media, a lock that has been picked open always has scratches all over the front of the core. I've never used an electric pick, do they do that?
Myth you can however see marks inside the lock. This can be seen with epgs and also hand picking leaves traces that can be found with expensive microscopes.
I’m always up for seeing more dual gauge lock pick sets!
Agreed. I picked up a praxis kit a while ago and it’s been very handy.
Awesome review!! Would love to try these out!!

@@Zieh-Fix looks to be a great set, I am going to add them high in my want list and hopefully be able to get some soon
@@StevesLockPicking sounds great :)
I think that is the closest to my dream set I've ever seen. Two widths and no need to say I'm into hooks a lot!
As always LN a wonderful review. I think it's a great set.
The case looks a bit like the new Moki case. Very nice! The picks look great too
Thats what I was thinking, it looks like the Moki Sandman just reviewed with just a different zipper.
Hm no idea why 🤔
But the Moki case looks great.

I use picks sometimes in my job but for some padlocks I use shimmis that work well
very cool Ash mate great video 👍😊🇬🇧👊😎

Try them 👍
What kind of steel are your Monkey Paws? I think they're not spring, but I don't have a lot of variety in my collection, so I'm not sure.
Is that the same steel they were using when the Lockmaster picks first came out? I thought it was a stainless.
They are. But because we don't polish after tumbling the tools will have a more matt finish.
That's a nice set. I sure hope Sascha accepts kidneys as payment😂
As I have a kidney illness these might come handy so maybe I can convince bookeeping :P

They should not bed easily all tools are made from high quality spring steel.
Ive seen a couple different lockmaster picks Id like to try out but I haven’t been able to find a US seller. Does any one know of one?
A lot of people promised to start selling but haven't started.

Are they good for EURO locks?
Were are based in germany. If we aren't good with euro we would sell nothing haha
@@Zieh-Fix sorry for the dumb question 😅
