In my case, I had a H-1 visa and changed to an E-7. My company did all the visa process, all I had to do is give them my translated diplomas, Topik exam and passport. I hope it helps!!
These are all students or ex-students, look at their age, etc. Some came as teachers, some as students and after changed their visas for working visa, etc. If you try to apply from abroad, you may as well forget it. Most of companies have no right to hire a foreigner, and even if they do, it is a pain in the ass for them. @@Cxs1a3 hmm... okay. Thanks.
There is nothing more shocking to me than their fluency in English Speaking. Literally, I can write English quite well but I can't speak for a long time with that proficiency and fluency, such smooth flow of words and really good pick of words. Hmmmm, I ought to improve myself a lot to survive...
Korea had the longest average working time of 1,601 hours per employee annually. Concerning weekly working hours, 18.9 percent of the employees said they exceeded the maximum limit of 48 hours. In a Korean company you are expected to come 15-30 mins early and frowned upon if leaving on time.
The fact that u guys only gave some of the subtitles is fucked up
It's the same everywhere we go
0:29 computer science grads starting base salary is not 120k. It is more like 63k-65k
For a garbage job maybe. On average, the girl in the video is right
@@masteroogway9792 An average job is a garbage job by your standards, jobs at google, Facebook that pay that starting are top 5% jobs. I could tell you to google the government stats, but you're probably too deIuded to believe actual stats.
lol trust a South African to mix languages when he’s being interviewed in English… love Us🇿🇦🫶🏼
the Black French woman is stunning and so poised
Happy New Year my friend.
this man is very attractive and good at interviewing.
45 hour work day... my man grinding x2 in his sleep fr.
10:04 it's 유리천장 = glass ceiling, i guess.
They pay you to be a foreigner in South Korea?
와 중간에 한국어 잘하는 여자분 이쁘기도 한대
발음도 굉장히 좋은데
Where can I locate K explorer?
외국인이어서라기 보다 한국인에게도 유리천장이 있어요.
아주 큰 성과나 특화된 능력이 없으면 깨기 힘든 학연.지연등등
So, isn't that just straight-up discrimination (foreigners can never be promoted just because they are foreigners, even if they speak Korean really well) wtf?!?!?!?!
The French woman and the woman from India ❤❤
What's his instagram?
I would like to work in south Korea
Dang all I can speak is freaking english.
So he was humble enough to say occasionally but they give you free food .. this is not the first company I hear that do that.. free lunch fk yeah .
If a black person say she is from France why do you always have to doubt and dig more. This is ridiculous. She is french full stop. I love how she stand bold
40 hrs a week ? 😂😂
In India we have to work 180 hrs in a month !! A lot of companies has minimum 200 hrs in a week. 😂😂😂😂😂
The south african guy that said "i-job, i-job, spaan ke spaan" it means work is work
Tu travailles 45h par semaine et tu ne peux pas être promu ni prétendre à une augmentation de salaire sous prétexte que tu es étranger. Fucking no !!!!!
I worked in usa for like 10yrs.. even here it's not an easy task to ask for raise or promotion.. its a lot easier to apply for a new better job.. also they lucky that they found some good jobs since even many koreans graduates are having hard time landing to their chosen work field
N'est-ce pas? Ces complètement fou ça non merci
Yes, you can.
The girl from India thinking you will earn 120k out of college in the first work experience, not happening hahah
Many indians in USA work in big tech companies straight out of college and many of them are high earners . So there is that percention here that all usa companies offer 150k+
My neighbour also went to the USA and graduated from HBS last year and he was offered 300k$ after college
But he was already a bright student in india also . In india , he studied from IIT Delhi, the 2nd best engineering college in india
@@sidy6526 Perception is not reality, most of them will struggle to even land a H1-B , which is limited by a quota. The reality is as a foreigner, your chances are still extremely slim even if you meet the standards.
@@sidy6526you already explained why your friend was offered a high salary lol...
No it's totally BS. When you make it into like the biggest firm like Google, Apple, or Microsoft then you make 100k a year. But most computer related jobs straight out of college will give you 50k-60k at the most. Engineering don't offer you 300k in the US straight out of college. It's around 60k. @@sidy6526
What salary computer girl... What???? Can you repeat yourself 😂
Working in Korea as a foreigner, a very broad topic
What's the first girls nationality?
she is armenian
French
French. She said that. Watch the video
she is armenian
@@deeabee96 If he means the girl in milky coat who answered in Korean, She is Armenian. But the second girl in video, she is French and she said that, so I think there is no need to ask it. That's why here is a question who is the first girl, cuz she was the one who didn't say her nationality
That black girl....god dayum!!!😮😮😮😮
Of course foreigners cannot get promoted. why promotion to the people who will leave korea sooner or later? And the word 유리천장 is nornally used to the situation woman face in the work, not foreigners.
She said that they CAN get promoted to a certain level for example to TeamLead position, but never in the higest managment position. Like CEO or COO, CTO. And yes glass ceiling may be especially used for woman in Korea, but in Europe we use it not only when talking about woman.
@@starshining1218 what is difference in your saying and mine? And i dont need to know the usage of 유리천장 in europe. She is speaking of korean society. In this society people showing their consistency on high level of responsibility in company are getting promoted. It is all about expenses a company put in one person.
@@user-rs3ki3sp6i You are saying that foreigner can be promoted to management position I am saying they cannot! lol... I am Korean, It is harder even for Koreans get promoted to 처장, 부장 level in big companies
