Yes sure.. after opening all holes sound is coming that means you know how to blow air. So there is no problem in blowing air. Now after placing three fingers sound is not coming, means holes are not getting closed properly. Practice closing only one hole, then two, then three... Still problem exist there can be problem in flute but this possibility is only 1%. Because if flute is problematic it will make out of tune sound. But some sound will be there.

Hello sir Which flute according to you is more easy... In the sence of ease of sound production. I played G scale and can play quite well. But nowadays shifted to C natural (Punam). I am not able to play this scale flute as effortlessly as G scale. I thought C scale would be easier after G. But finding just opposite. Is it normal? I can play c scale but not as effortlessly as G scale(sarfuddin) .
Hello.. It's absolutely normal because it is exactly opposite of what we think about flutes. We think that bigger the flute difficult to make sound from it. But actually smaller the flute we have to blow air with higher force so it is normal that you find c medium difficult to play. That's why generally it is recommended to play c medium first. As flute size increases blowing air becomes easy but holding flute and closing holes becomes difficult. Hope it is clear now.👍

Main diameter is inside diameter of bamboo as a pipe. It's a pipe diameter. Yes it is c medium because C base flute is very big, nearly 35 inches and it is difficult to handle. So generally 19 to 20 inches is C medium flute. If it is around 33 to 35 inches it is base or bigger flute.

Kyuki itani mehengi flute dikhne me bhi acchi honi chahiye to agar bamboo ke upar dag, dhabbe ya black lines dikhti hai to logonko accha nahi lagta. Isliye Jo flute ke upar aise dhabbe hote hai wo discount rates or bechte Hai. Flute bajane me ya tuning me same hoti hai. Bas dikhne me thodi acchi nahi hoti.

Hello, first of all welcome to our channel and thank you for appreciation. Blowing hole is in oval shape because of anotomy of human lips. Our human lips are not exactly round. Blowing hole is in oval shape because of anotomy of human lips. Our human lips are not exactly round. They get open in oval shape (little wide) so it becomes easy to blow more air effeciently.
