Oh that's right in Japanese the word 4 is similar to the word "Death". That's why that cross works that way.
More classroom Shenanigans
To think our teacher Dark Scythe was an apprentice to Dusk. (Then again it makes a lot of sense with their nature) His navi Eraseman is a cool reaper design and his challenge of eliminating foe navis is stealth done right. Granted you can't screw up being caught since you'll be forced in a fight but thankfully you can hide yourself and strike when the time is right. Afterwards, you face the reaper himself. He'll send ghost projectiles, a scythe slash, and a sensor similar to a killer eye that you better not get caught otherwise he'll come and zap you. Erase cross is interesting. Cursor chips get a 30+ boost, laser charge shot beam eyes, and has an interesting gimmick with the number 4 since thats also the meaning of death in Japanese. Anyone hit moves with erase cross with a 4 is automatically deleted, and navis will have nasty bug effects. A pretty scary but effective cross indeed.

Ah yes, my beloved Erase Cross/Erase Beast. This thing is the reason i prefer Gregar. Cursor chips are generally just great to use, and the beastcharge is just *mmmmmmmmm*. It pierces invis and i-frames, it removes traps, it even breaks LifeAura in PVP and saddles a level of HP bug on the poor sap who gets hit by it. Manipulating the HP of a boss and comboing it into a multi-hit Null chip to stack up HP bugs is always lovely. Also Eraseman is just a REALLY good Navi chip in general to the point he's in almost every single BN6 PVP folder you'll see if you're following that scene alongside Judgeman and Elementman

Dark Scyth is the same age as Lan right now. Let that sink in. Also EraseMan's design is fucking awesome.
Usually I don't like the alternative names, but this one is honestly better.

I agree the Japanese name just feels a bit too edgy for my tastes.

Eraseman is scar-y and his operator is a cold blooded professional. Let's just hope that nobody gives Baryl her number.
Now we just have to see the last two link navis for Cybeast Falzar and then decide how they stack up.
With this, all Gregar crosses have been covered. Next will be 16a and 17a for Dustman and Groundman.

If the Invis attribute existed in this game, I feel like that would fit EraseMan a little better than Cursor, at least during the minigame.

You know... With all these elements like sword,cursor and break i often wonder if there would have been some kind of style changes for these elements if style change popped up again(i just call them elements because they have icons like heat and aqua.) Thats one of the first things i thought of in recent times when i think of all the various ways to change megaman over these games.
BTW, did you know all the GB Megaman games have been added to Game Boy Online? You should play through them all someday.
