Something you failed to consider when folder building is your TAG CHIP pair as well, which can grant some strong boosts to how you approach combos by doing things like bolting smaller set-up pieces together
The flipside is that Gregar has a lot more ways to drop 200 Damage on a whim, as all of its BeastOut ChipCharge attacks except for ElecBeast break 200 at ATK5, and you also have a bunch of power up options in Crosses to amp dangerous one-hits to that threshold Its definitely a favor to consider though because of how common LifeAura is, and some people even run Barr200s
NaviCust is such a cool feature, the tutorial only teach you the basic, but you can learn on how to actually use the advanced option once you unlocked something. This is very complex.
Possible lore justification: Dad Hikari is probably concerned about causing "Undefined Behavior" glitches in *_one of his children_* so he tells Lan and -Hub- MegaMan only safe ways to use the NaviCust. We, as players, know that the NaviCust "bugs" are actually well-defined and intentional features, so we can use it to its full potential. So you can either go with a lore-friendly "what would the Hikari Twins actually do" approach if you want... or you can "break Da Rules" and use it the way the game devs intended ;)

Both of them are good but gregar exclusive crosses and chips generally having more damage and easier to use. Falzar crosses and chipw don't have as much damage but they have lots of hidden power that are not as easy to use (Kinda like hub bat vs other giga chips)
Its very playstyle dependant, Gregar is very straight-forward, they Unga, they Bunga, they Do Damag, while you have almost all the same building blocks to work with, aside from Gigas, your Crosses all favor more upfront offense, you have Utility amongst them, but primarily in the form of charge shots with potent effects, and Chip Charge bonuses, rather than special powers, Gregar BeastOut is also brutally simple, Press Buttons Do Damage, has Super Armor Meanwhile Falzar is a toolbox, every Cross has some kind of unique tactical quirk to work with, SpoutCross is the most basic, it just lets you heal a bit off of AquaChips and charge them, the rest of them all have very unique options, Tengu gives you FloatShoes and Wind Back+B effect, TomahawkCross gives you STATUS IMMUNITY and Grass Regen, GroundCross gives Super Armor, and Dust Cross gives both the Recycle Chute in the Custom Screen, and the DustChute Back+B ability to strip objects off the field, Falzar BeastOut gives you Air and Float Shoes, and has a less brutal tilt in its Buster and BeastCross powers, reliant more on field control as an ends, rather than a means
Hey MWD! You can push programs off the grid, but only in BN6 and only if it doesn't touch the corners. Hope I helped, feel free to ask any questions : )

If so, please direct me there, or if not, I'd love to see your take on a Buster Up Fastgauge HubPatch build. Been playing this game for years on gba and would like to see other's takes on the idea~
BusterUp is neat fun but its not very sufficient as a primary offense, one big reason for this is that Cross ChargeShots, as well as the Beast ChipCharge attacks, all cap at ATK5 for damage scaling, so ATK10 doesn't go any farther, it can still be a spooky thing to deal with though, HubBatch and BugFix can do some good fun though
@@konatadusk BusterUps do stack with your NaviCust, up to ATK10(PatchCards can also take you to ATK10, thats the hardcap), but ATK5 is the cap for Cross Charge Shots and Beast Out ChipCharge attacks scaling, your buster will still go up to 10, as well Base Megaman's Charge Shot, but Crosses will not(I think Bass Cross's Charge Shots also cap at 5?), this is not a Legacy Collection change, this is how it always behaved

Isn't there a style change where eliminates any weakness in the navi custom program.
You're thinking of BugStyle from BN3. And that's ONLY because BugStyle gives you the BugStop program.
You just blew my tiny hard to surprise mind
I haven't seen your channel till today, Have you done a Buster Up folder with Bugfix and HubPatch yet? If so, please direct me there, or if not, I'd love to see your take on a Buster Up Fastgauge HubPatch build. Been playing this game for years on gba and would like to see other's takes on the idea~
BusterUp is neat fun but its not very sufficient as a primary offense, one big reason for this is that Cross ChargeShots, as well as the Beast ChipCharge attacks, all cap at ATK5 for damage scaling, so ATK10 doesn't go any farther, it can still be a spooky thing to deal with though, HubBatch and BugFix can do some good fun though
@@syrelian thats odd. I remember doing buster up with a maxed customizer and it only stacked. Was that patched out of the Legacy Collections BN6?
@@konatadusk BusterUps do stack with your NaviCust, up to ATK10(PatchCards can also take you to ATK10, thats the hardcap), but ATK5 is the cap for Cross Charge Shots and Beast Out ChipCharge attacks scaling, your buster will still go up to 10, as well Base Megaman's Charge Shot, but Crosses will not(I think Bass Cross's Charge Shots also cap at 5?), this is not a Legacy Collection change, this is how it always behaved
Its something i accidentally found out about this and just ran bugstopper
How do I compress with an xbox controller in bn3?
Does the command line go pass the normal 5x5 grid?
At 9:05 he puts a program on the hidden command line only, so looks like yes
You also get break buster, unless they took that away from BN6
They unfortunately did but the good news is obstacles aren't too hard to get rid of and "breaking" is its own element!
There's no BrkBuster unforch, but you have a number of ways to easily crush Obstacles in both versions, including Crosses
I want to see the dark soul ai for bn5 explained
Some of best cust combo comes from bug programs
link to the cust codes doesnt work

Bug fix I don't need that when I have the humor program!
Yesss... Xeno's out here with the Emotion Bug : )
@@scoutmasterdemi yes sir I just wish I could use it in starforce.
Dad we not at the play ground anymore
Show me all the bugs 👍🏼
With the folder why not use bubble star and electric dragon code v ?
Great question Tadpole! In this folder I wanted to maximize the chance of connecting with Uninstall (to stop SuperArmor) so I went with L. I made a video after this one where I battle and make some decent changes to this folder

This right here!
@@scoutmasterdemi that's fair but why not run whitecapule instead as super armor doesnt stop the the paralysis
@Swole Tadpole I love the way you think. It got added in as well since Gregar Beast Out's SuperArmor cannot be removed
Is it possible to get a second Speed+1 in green without trading?
You could duplicate but that would also involve trading
For online battle are patch cards not used?
It depends on who you play! They're not on or off by default though most folks in my discord prefer them off
@@scoutmasterdemi ahhh good to know, I’ve been building my Navi based on patch cards, but without the patch cards makes the battles a lot more complex. Just got the game again since I played it 13 years ago, trying to dive in deeper!
what an amazing vid
Anyway to get Hubbatch in Gregar?
Unfortunately no, that's a Falzar-exclusive giga chip.
That being said, Colonel Force is VERY strong. Possibly the strongest in the game! So don't worry about Gregar version : )
Is there a gregor version to this? We don't have dust cross or anything equal to him lol. seeing him used, he's freaking OP. No wonder my friend wanted to do felzor and give me gregor lol. he also gets free float shoes AND anti-aura in 1 cross. this isn't fair.
ua-cam.com/video/QgHivdsKW4s/v-deo.html
This is a good place to start for Navi Custs for Gregar. Don't feel discouraged! Gregar wins a lot of tournaments due to the power of ColonelForce and it's aggressive Cross charge attacks : )
Sorry Dad, rules are made to be broken 👀
Considering Dad's weird parenting choices I think we can definitely break his rules hahaha!
The link for the codes isn't working properly.
Add a ) at the end of the link to fix it
