😂😂😂 That black and white ending was everything! Seriously, I love watching you two. And that sampler wall behind you is fabulous. I love how you enjoy looking for Big Foot when you’re here in the states. And I also look forward to seeing your photo posts from your trip on instagram. Safe travels and enjoy your next big adventure! Thank you for your gorgeous fabrics!!! ❤
You are so wonderful to discuss options! This embroidery is gorgeous and sampler has very unique verse, would love to know the story of this sampler too!!So keeping an embroidery option would be perfect! However, i'm a beginner stitcher, so a crosstitch option would be appreciated! My daughter is a stitcher and what ever you decide , we will adore!!!!
I am so excited for the both of you for this great get-away!! You will have the best time, Big Foot and Mountains and Bonsai and Acorns, everything to love and enjoy. Brendon, I would love the embroidered version but at 80, I may have to have help to finish. It is beautiful and thank your for doing this for us. I will probably do the crossstitch version, oh, I love them both!!! Have a great trip, Karen don't overdo but enjoy as much as you can!! Sending warm hugs from Arizona.
I received my very first fabric of the month today and Inca is gorgeous! I love the sampler but I’d like the cross stitch version. Have a fantastic time on the west coast and get some well deserved relaxation in. Can’t wait to hear all about it 🫎
Your videos are always uplifting and fun. The outtake at the end was so cute. Don't we all have days where we can't remember our names lol. Brendon's sampler purchase is gorgeous. I'd opt for an original reproduction with embroidery, however, I like to mix up my stitching, try different things. Most stitches aren't difficult when broken down into steps and practiced a few times. But, since you're running a business and it would be good if you sold lots of patterns, it probably makes sense to reproduce it in cross stitch. Not all stitchers like to do specialty stitches or embroidery. Cross stitch is relaxing and takes less focus than doing other stitches. Whatever you decide I'm sure will be beautiful. Karen, I really hope your knee improves. Safe travels to the States. Take care, and happy stitching.
I agree completely Marlene. The cross stitch version will definitely be done and be commercial, but as Bren is planning to chart it as a tie reproduction anyway, there is no reason not to release it as well☺️
Happy Birthday Karen! I can see you both fine. That embroidered Sampler is breathtaking. Love that Mudslide fabric. Wishing you a fun, safe trip! Marilyn
Safe travels and have a wonderful time in the PNW! Loved seeing Bren’s new sampler! I hope you release it both in cross-stitch and embroidery! Your linen colors are so pretty! Karen, you must get Bren to release them!!
Since I mostly cross stitch, I would like the cross stitch version to your new acquisition. BUT....there are a lot of people out there that do both, I vote for two versions! And the sampler looks like there is some ribbon embroidery which I love to do, although not very often. Safe travels
Absolutely beautiful and although stitchers call embroidery stitching ‘speciality’ stitches they are embroidery! Yes, I would stitch her. I would love both! Will watch for her!
Happy vacation! And of course the embroidery version, which is just stunning. Although it really should be both, so everyone can get a piece of that lovely, lovely sampler.
Hahaha sure just you, Bren and Jenine at your meet and greet. I bet people will be lined up camping and sleeping in the street, etc. waiting to see you when the door opens. After all, you are one of the Flosstube celebrities. I wish I could go….take care!
So many things! First of all, while I appreciate embroidery I know I’d never actually stitch it. Next, knee replacement, yes! I had 5 years between replacements. Physical therapy will get you back on your feet in no time! And lastly on the fabric club. Every time I say that ‘this one is my favorite!’ Only to say the same things when the next one arrives. And I can wait an extra week or two rather than skip. Safe travels and if you ever make it to Kansas City I’ll give you the BBQ tour you won’t ever forget’. !! ❤❤❤
I would love to have both the cross stitch and the embroidery versions of your newest antique sampler purchase. One for me and one for my sister, the same, but different, it would be awesome to have both. Safe travels and look forward to hearing all about your trip 😊
Have a wonderful vacation to the states! I just finished a sampler using 32 count Duxbury which I had never stitched on Fox & Rabbit fabric before and enjoyed it very much.
So excited for your trip to the states. I know you’ll have a fabulous time!! Be sure and post pictures as well as your vlog!! Had to miss the Patreon stitch yesterday. 😞 Had the symphony so couldn’t attend. Off to Stitch North this Thursday. My first stitchy retreat. Excited and nervous. Would love to go to the Stitch in Time retreat with you! I belong to their Cottage Garden Threads floss of the month club. Already looking forward to next month’s Patreon stitch! Be safe on your travels and can’t wait to hear about them!!
I think embroidered version as a SAL and maybe a virtual learning piece over 1 year to do the embroidered speciality stitches The comfortable way will be cross-stitch version but as a learning piece - that would be fabulous!!
Looking tea towels only 😂 I have lots of looking only items - blankets, candles…. Ha ha! Have a fantastic trip and I’ll be seeing you soon!! Both versions of that glorious sampler is my vote.
I’m in on the true version. I’ve inherited a sampler that is partly cross-stitch and partly embroidery, and I just reproduced it, learning the embroidery as I went. I think the original version reproduction of your sampler with both would be fantastic!
Re. Bren's Sampler: Definitely both releases. You could take some of the motifs and make smalls to encourage the embroidery. Both will be incredible. Have a wonderful trip!
Oh I hope to get in to the fabric of the month. And I think I would choose the colour one. Those colours you showed are gorgeous! I think that huge sampler would be gorgeous in embroidery but I would do the cross stitch. But I bet Katie Strachan would do an amazing job of the embroidery!
My mom taught me to embroidery when I was about 5 or 6yo. I would do the embroidery version to represent my stitching journey and in remembrance of my mom.
Do your homework if you want Cracker Barrel. They just closed all in Oregon except one I believe in Southern Oregon. Have a great trip!! Wish I could see you at A&T but I have to work…bummer!!
It’d be a lot of work but i think both versions of the sampler would be wonderful. That way everyone has the option to choose their preference. Personally I would get both as I have done some of each type.😊
I am sadly going to miss meeting you both at Acorns (I have to work 😭) but I hope you have a great time and just my two cents but you will not regret making time to see Crater Lake. It’s magnificent. It truly is breathtaking. All the best! And I vote for the cross stitch version but that’s only because I have no clue how to do embroidery. 😉
Safe travels, I think from LA to Portland is a trip of 14+ hrs plus add time for lovely road construction. Maybe do One mostly cross stitch and add some embroidery stitches here & there. Yet, I like all embroidery stitches.
Too funny that you want cracker barrel! When we are on the road we stop at every one we see. We don't eat there but they have great gift shops and clean bathrooms!
Ohhh I wish I could be at Acorns and Threads to see you!! My husband and I always go there, driving from North Carolina in October…marvelous shop and people!! I will order some of your fabric for sure! Have a safe and enjoyable journey!!
I would love a true reproduction of your new sampler in all it's glory. I first learned to embroider and then moved to cross stitch. Love samplers with specialty stitches in them. Acorns and Threads is on my bucket list to visit. Have fun and safe travels.
Always a pleasure to see you both!! I'm so happy that you are recovering well Karen! I love your new sampler and would love to stitch a cross stitch adaptation of it!! Have an amazing vacation! Thanks as always and happy stitching!
Have a wonderful vacation to the states. Bren’s new sampler is beautiful. I would love the embroidery version just to have a different type of sampler on my wall.
I just LOVE listening/watching you 2!!! Besides all the fabric & stitching I love the way you back & forth with each other! PLEASE, PLEASE, BRENDAN!!! Make Inca & Mudslide both available as regular colors. Also excited to hear you adding to your FOTM! So hoping I can get in! Your sampler is beautiful Brendan, but I don't embroider so it would be crossstitch for me.
It’s always a treat to see you both😊 What a wonderful sampler to redesign, definitely vote for both the versions 😊 Inca would be a wonderful addition to your line 😊
I can’t resist an Adam and Eve sampler. Love love love it! Please reproduce as original. I’ve done several Amy mitten and examplerary with embroidery. Don’t ruin it!!! One designer reproduced one and didn’t add the embroidery and I was mad when I bought it lol but least you’re giving heads up. Embroidery version.
I started watching this video earlier this evening, and then suddenly remembered that the Patreon zoom was this evening - so I joined an hour late, but very much enjoyed that. This video was the usual amount of fun and very interesting - you two are great. I always look forward to the videos! Glad your knee is doing a bit better, Karen. As for Brendon's sampler - I would probably not do it in embroidery, but it is pretty amazing. Cross stitch for me.
Oh yes…. Embroidery 🧵 🪡 version I would do…. I started out with crewel embroidery 🪡 & petite point needlepoint…. I love speciality stitches !! Hugs 🤗 & kisses 😘 to the fur babes…. Safe travel… easy on the knee Karen … hope the airplane ✈️ has enough space for you legs… Safe journey …..
That is so excellent that you highlighted the stitchers collective earth day. Lots of smaller designers with really great charts and perspectives. You are awesome people. Have a fun trip and come to the middle of America soon ( I live in Oklahoma)
Brendon ,if you have not thought of this try contacting Embroidery Guilds in Australia re conservation and how many members there are. The white flowers remind me of flannel flowers .
You two are so funny! I thought you both looked really nice, light was great. The bloopers at the end were too cute. While I was watching you, I downloaded my Earth Day charts. Some of them are quite clever. I was a little confused at the beginning cuz Brenden said it was May 22 nd. I thought I lost a month. Lol. The Central Valley of California is going through a heatwave right now. Hopefully it’s gone when you drive thru. ❤
@@FoxandRabbit I think it was hotter in Oregon than it was here. That was surprising. We are finally going to reach the 100’s by the end of the month. Ugh. Not looking forward to it at all. Take care. I’m glad you are doing your knee replacement surgery. My sister had both knees done at the same time! She couldn’t walk so she had to be in rehab. Within 6 weeks we were in Sedona and she was using a walker. The after surgery pain was less than before the surgery. You should be fine.😀❤️
Wow! The new sampler is beautiful 🤩.. The embroidered version would definitely be a challenge .. Morris and Sons in Sydney have previously conserved & valued work for me .. ask for Albert..❤
Would love to see a true reproduction of the sampler. It is beautiful. It would be a challenge but the result would be well worth it. Have a lovely trip.
I don’t do embroidery but I think you should do an embroidery version. I was so excited to hear you’ll be visiting the Pacific Northwest and then realized it coincides with my trip over to Europe so I’ll miss you 😢. Ah, you just sold me on the Pelican in Its Piety - love stitching birds. The symbolism is the female pelican pecking its chest to feed her blood to her young. It's a Christian symbol for the sacrifice of Christ. Both cross stitch and an embroidery version if you have enough hours in the days ... I also love the Fraktur / Folk Art images. May have to buy a few more - Owl Stitching House has some wonderful designs.
I love both charts ....lighting looks good, just . GO BIG FOOT,!!

Love the new sampler and embroidery for sure
Embroidery Version with very detailed stitch instructions....Safe travels guys!
Can't wait to see you both at Acorns! Safe travels.
I hope you have a wonderful trip! The Pacific Northwest should be beautiful this time of year.
Embroidery Version for me! A kit with a F&R linen with silks would be absolutely fabulous!! Please, please, please!!!!! ❤
Hope your knee feels better all during your trip. Wishing you a fabulous trip to the Pacific Northwest!

Both ways for the sampler, many of us do both embroidery and cross stitch. ❤
I work in a stitch shop so touch a lot of fabric. Designers are using your fabric because it is beautiful.
Glad you liked your Easter gifts. Ps I have a good memory and knew you loved penguins. See you when your get back from the states🙂

I make my tea towels into project bags so they can’t be used but I get to use it for me. Preserves them lol. Enjoy you trip
I think embroidery would be so much awesomeness on Brendon’s new Sampler!
Hope your trip goes well. Would love to be able to go to the meet and greet. That would be awesome. Maybe one of these days - enjoy your trip.
Definitely embroidery!

Love embroidery, do a twin chart. Have a wonderful time in the USA visit, wish I lived closer to be able to attend.

Love the Inca fabric. Wow so pretty.😊 Sorry you’ll miss the Ga-Ron retreat.
Hope you can get to cannon beach, Oregon....it is breathtaking!
Can’t wait to meet you two. I’m part of the Acorns crew. We are going to have lots of fun!
I had knee replacement in October 2022. Glad I did.
I’ll come stitch with you at Acorns and Threads! It’s on the calendar 😊
Yay, we look forward to meeting you ☺️

For cleaning and restoration of the sampler you could approach the Art Gallery’s of Canberra and NSW 💚
Cross stitch version for me. Stunning sampler.
Safe travels. I'm not an embroiderer. Just a few stitches, so I would be more interested in cross stitch. It's a beauty.
I had my hip replaced 5 days ago😊🌺🌸🌺🇮🇪☘️🇺🇸🍎❤️🪡🧵😊No medical advice! Just be good to yourself 😊😊😊
The embroidery version would be my preference.
Would love to see a true reproduction of the sampler. It is beautiful. It would be a challenge but the result would be well worth it. Have a lovely trip.

I would love to do a cross stitch version, I never learned how to do embroidery.
Hi Karen & Brendon,
I would be interested in doing the EmbroideryVersion or maybe a mix of both. The border is stunning with the embroidery for sure. Would be a fun challenge
I would be more likely to stitch the embroidery reproduction than the cross stitch only to be honest. It might be interesting to have both options available for us to pick how much embroidery to include.
I am sure that both charts would do well.
I was in a car wreck and suffered a TBI…2 months later I fainted and candy cane fractured my leg. What…wait, knee replacement…no way Jose. I’m very happy to see so many success stories now. I would do both. I love embroidery too.
Cracker Barrel for your birthday might require planning. I think the only location in Oregon is in Medford. Medford is along I5 in Southern Oregon. Not a lot of locations in California.
I had a big foot in my yard last week. A 1200 lb. black bear. Hibernation is over.
Ah, you just sold me on the Pelican in Its Piety - love stitching birds. The symbolism is the female pelican pecking its chest to feed her blood to her young. O, the Inca is beautiful! (They're all lovely, of course, but I know what I'll stitch if it becomes a Real Color!)
