Yes! thank you for these videos! i just started my cmhc program in January and ill be half way through my program by August. My second masters and extremely happy with my school. I debated between a private school in Naples and one in palm beach. Ended up doing a christian university online.
I think I go to the private school in Naples 😊 it’s a good school. How is your school going so far? I’m happy to do these videos.
My dear I think FL is 2000 hours working as RMHCI with 100 hours of supervision and then you can be fully licensed? Please correct me if I am wrong
1500 hours/ 100 hours of supervision/ 50 can be group supervision

I usually don't comment on videos, but I had to do it this once to say this: thank you for all these videos that you've been making. I start my MFT master's program this coming July 2023, and I've been binge watching all of your videos to get an idea of what I'm getting myself into. It's truly a blessing to have content like this that shows how it's like from day one. THANK YOU for your consistency and please never stop posting.
That is so amazing! Congratulations you’ll start your program in no time. You will have to keep me updated because I am curious to see how the two programs are different. Thank you for watching I appreciate the positive comments. 😊
The way FL does this is shameful. It is a mafia honestly. After individuals work hard in school, pay for school and do unpaid internships, they still looking at spending about 10k in the next two years in order to become fully licensed. That is while making sh!t as a non-licensed therapist. Most employers do not offer supervision at work to feed this absurdity. In states like Massachusetts, paying a supervisor to become fully licensed is not something you hear often. In other states, there is licensing for master's level and 90% of the sites that have social workers offer FREE supervision for the independent licensure.
There are a lot of places that give you a supervisor without being charged here as well. Thank you for the thorough explanation, I agree with you on how this process is tough on people.
