      Yes, at time 6:55 a white phone symbol on a black handle is visible behind and above the shoulder of the blue-shirted guy.

      @@davidserlin8097 True, but they did not even try the elevator phone.
      At time 1:13, the guy in the suit asks if there is any kind of call button on the control panel and the other guy responds that he doesn't see one. They are both looking at the panel and do not say anything like but there is this black handle with a phone symbol on it, lets see if there is a phone inside the panel. At time 6:55 a white phone symbol on a black handle is visible behind and above the shoulder of the blue-shirted guy.
      Clearly, the audience is meant to think that there is no way for them to contact anyone and the shot at 6:55 showing the handle with the phone symbol on it was a mistake.

    Very nice! It was insightful and convincing. Also, quite creative to "rock the boat" in the end. However, 5 hours is a long time to be secluded without an escape window. One would expect some kind of intimacy, apart from sharing food. For example, how about sharing more stories or emotions?

    One time on the way to work, I was stuck in the elevator with a couple of other people. One of them tried the phone in the elevator, but it did not work. We rang the alarm.
    After about 10 minutes, I decided to try the door despite the other two people saying that wouldn't work and might cause the elevator to fall. I said that the elevator brakes were clearly holding since we hadn't slipped at all after stopping, so the elevator falling was unlikely.
    For this elevator, the door closed all the way to one side behind a flexible rubber bumper instead of closing in the center. I was able to get my fingers between the rubber bumper and edge of the door to get a grip. I pulled hard and the door slid open. We saw that the elevator had stopped only about 4 inches below the floor level, so we only needed to step up a little to walk out.
    We asked people we passed in the hallway and the receptionist at our office if anyone heard the elevator alarm, but no one had heard it. There's no telling how long we would have been stuck in that elevator if I had not manually opened the elevator door.
    I asked the administrative assistant for my office to call the building manager to report the elevator problem and to ask them to also fix the phone in the elevator while they were repairing whatever else was wrong with it.

    Tienen celular y no alertan a nadie. La puerta de abre después de cuatro horas y ninguno de los sale. Lo sabroso viene después del final. Cuando se cierran las puertas nuevamente. “Lo esencial es invisible a los ojos”, ¿no les parece conocido?

  • @alexsdb9712

    *spoiler alert*
    This is interesting and clever because that ending, the impression that some might get from it means that the two men have decided to continue their time together and develop their yearnings for each other despite the elevator already running and they've made it to a floor. But this time, being "stuck" rather than previously stuck. So there's your "gay film" and "kiss". This film is like a statement, that movies need more of (or return to) things being implied rather than all out in the open to overkill of it. Very clever.

      @Boz Omiros this chance meeting I'd like to see another meeting. It was hinted that one was too rigid the other, too carefree. Maybe they could learn from each other. One to have fun and the other plan better.
      I don't know if you had other ideas.
      Or other options I'd just like to see where it would lead after.

    • @BozOmiros
      @BozOmiros  Рік тому +10

      Great observation. That's kind of the arc throughout this short; by the end the carefree/careless character begins to find comfort in a routine while the rigid character finds his freedom through breaking out of his shell. As for continuing these characters, who knows what the future holds...

    • @adamparrott797
      @adamparrott797 Рік тому +3

      @Boz Omiros you could take this a number of ways. You could do a what if scenario keeping them together in the face of an unlikely zombie apocalypse (personal favourite of mine as it is fun to create, sadly breaks the quality that youve gone for but interesting.) 5 hours while they was trapped end of the world.
      How to they function together. Is it a compatible relationship/friendship also keeps them in the moment of the lift.
      I like writing stories, so this was a great idea.
      And it was very well shot, too, well done on that.
