Most Americans miss the hilarity of him saying "the Tower of London" so I'm so happy you guys got it. lmao
Driving in an major UK City is crazy, driving in Birmingham is insane, driving in London is Dantes 9th gate of hell
Parking in London is even more worse!
I live in Birmingham!
Don't lie
You've never been down Melton Road in Leicester then, or as it's known "The Golden Mile".
Won't say the reasoning behind why it's so hectic, just drive it.😂
@@monkeytennis8861 how's that a lie😂
Bus wankers was used a lot here in Britain after this episode. I was walking to my local shop one time last year and I wore my husbands camouflaged jacket. Bunch of teens drove by and shouted at me “ army wanker “. Actually made me laugh.
I remember being called bus wanker not long back, to which I replied "just wankers"
I can assure you, it was used here in North Africa to 😂😂
Went worldwide honestly
@@ILKILO1 thats mad 😂

People still say it now its become standard
In England the “bus wankers” line is the most iconic line from the whole of inbetweeners
nah "oooohhh sooooryyy" is more iconic
Just heard that the actors who played Simon and Tara have had a child together!! Now that’s amazing…
Oh wow yeah I see literally today! That’s amazing
Oh so he finally managed to get his equipment working then.....
another Tara update
You do realise that you've just spoiled a character that will appear next season right?

See this is exactly why I don't get what went on in the heads of those responsible for the American remake of The Inbetweeners... Over here we were basically told it was remade the way it was because Americans don't get our comedy...
You suuuure Americans don't get our comedy??
Love the reaction vids, especially The Inbetweeners, really can't wait for you guys to get to the movies! Thanks for the vid
I don't blame Simon for getting really mad, because a similar thing happened to me at that age. I was walking home with a girl, and she shouted "run Forrest, run" at a jogger. He turned around and came towards us and threatened me. It happened just like the scene, I warned her not to do it, she did it anyway, and just like Jay, while I was being threatened because he thought I did it, she looked terrified, and afterwards didn't seem to care I got threatened. Trust me, it makes you fucking furious.
Hope you got a stinky finger out of it, or better
@AllBrave - You just made me remember a similar thing that happened years ago... I got grabbed and almost beaten-up because of 'something' (I didn't even hear it!), somebody else shouted towards an absolute 'mental case'. It was NOT a nice situation and I nearly Sh1t myself !
I remember a mate of mine was absolutely drunk off their face. We were only 17/18 and had been to a party and walking home. He had gotten into a fight with someone at the party. Then all the way home he was shouting aggressively all the way, about how he wants to do this person in and shouting things like “come on then”. With me telling him to shut up and quiet down. He ended up falling over which made him scream all the more and shouting at me to help him up. Until some head case came out of his house and started threatening us.
Of course then he shuts up and stands there swaying. So this bloke focuses his threats onto me. Because I’m the only one talking and apologising.
This mental case walks off and suddenly my mates brave again. Saying he was about to do that bloke in. Looking back my mate clearly had issues.
Did you break up with her?
@@zzzzzzzzzzzk- I would probably take a punt and guess... YES !!! LOL
I’ve watched basically every American’s reaction to this show on UA-cam, and I enjoy yours the most by far
When I was at college we had to travel to the American Embassy in London to get US Visas. James Buckley who plays Jay was there getting his visa/work permit (assuming for Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping by timings) and got met with heckles of "Visa wanker" from some in the group. Was a good sport
Just wait for season 3. Just wait
"Where was that then?"
"The...Tower of London" lmao I love this show so much
Neil's car, a Vauxhall (GM is USA) Nova was THE quintessential boy racer car in the mid nineties in the UK, there were 1000's of the modded to the hilt with one only necessity.. the car stereo system had to be worth more than the car and able to hear it from half a mile away...
i see alot of Americans reacting to this show for the views but you can tell youse two are sincere and are loving this show. my fave episode is in season 3
Is it home alone or the fashion show? Or something else
It's painful watching some Americans watch because the humour and slang goes over their heads
@@northernstarr Trip to Warwick probably
It had to be butchered for US TV because most of the things they say in the original can't be broadcast under US TV rules
I've watched 4 dudes react and they are brilliant to watch.
I used to be a barman in a club. Trainers aren't allowed because they leave marks on the dancefloor that are a nightmare to polish out. Also, there's more hiding places for drugs in trainers.. Same with baseball caps.
this show will never get old
I remember going clubbing and my mate got refused because of trainers, he had black socks on so just went round the corner n put his socks over his shoes and got in! Think that was the same night I drove home with 7 people in my '79 mini.
They are called trainers because that’s what they are, they were originally designed for athletes to train in thus saving there specialist competition footwear
we train, unlike the sneaky americans
yeah i dont get why others call them sneakers
@@xgoawayx9477 dress shoes hard sole makes you clip-clop, the call them sneakers because they are rubber soled and 'quiet'.
A cut knob 😂😂
Spoken like a true Brit 😂😂😍
My first experience of clubbing in London back in the day. . . . . .
30+mins queueing to get in,
£20 entry,
once inside I led the way towards the bar,
failed to see a 12inch high miniature stone wall,
tripped over it and went head first into the club's ornamental goldfish pond,
helped out of the pond by my mates whilst pissing themselves laughing,
all of us immediately escorted from the club by the bouncers who'd seen me fall in and thought we were all drunk (which to be fair we were).
KBs face when Neil cut himself on the can... was echoed by all men watching.
My brother got turned away from a club in Manchester because he had trainers on. He decided to go buy a cheap pair of shoes but the only store open was a women's clothing store so he ended up buying a pair of women's shoes. He actually got in though, no trainers allowed but men in women's shoes are good to go lol.
You saying that you can’t escape getting your car clamped reminded me of something hilarious my mate did.
So me and my mate went went for dinner in London with our partners. We parked our cars at the side of the road. His back wheels were on double yellow lines. We didn’t think anything of it because he was only about 2ft Over the lines.
We came out of the restaurant about 2 hours later to find that his car had been clamped. We both work in a garage so we have tones of tools in the boots (trunks for you Americans) of our cars. This guy was the stingiest mother fucker in the world so he pulled out a breaker bar and put it behind the clamp and took the wheel off… it took ages but in the end he drove home on his spare wheel and used an angle grinder to cut the clamp off his wheel the next morning
I love the way you 2 look at each other. That's true love right there ❤
You should also take a look at Friday Night Dinner. It features the actor who plays Will.
Love Friday night dinner 👍👍👍
Simon Bird
Also is really.funny.
My favourite show 😂
Jim is the best character out of that show.
Love how Queen Boomer totally roasts you. Made this even funnier than the "bus wanker" bit (which we all describe ourselves as if we have to get the bus anywhere)
Those poor kids at the bus stop were a bunch of year 7s from my school... They had no idea that was going to happen 😂
I was in 6th form at the time and during a free period went to check out them filming and waved to the actors whilst they were filming the Neil peeing in a can scene. They waved back and the crew had a right go at me! And had to reshoot 😂
Neil's sister also went to my own sister's school... All a small world!
The homeless guy was a media studies teacher at my school. You can imagine how hard he found it to control a class after this aired
Mr mcafferty
@@James-ly1zt yeah that's the one
Clamps (or boots) were a huge thing in the 00s UK, but because they were used so often there's lots of rules using them now.
In France citizens would just fill the locks on them with superglue destroying them, so the owners would have to keep paying to replace them, so they aren't a thing in France at all
You should definitely give The IT Crowd a go when finish The inbetweeners. It's from the same creator of Father ted, Graham Linehan. Love all your reactions.
This is exactly how teenage boys in the UK talk to each other.
Trainers is an abbreviation for training shoe, which, as you correctly stated, is the British term for sneakers
Really loving the Inbetweener's reactions! This has made me discover your channel and I love seeing you both react to the show together, keep it going :)
Spearmint Rhino IS a chain of lap dancing clubs. We have about 10 or so of them over here, the largest "Gentlemans Club" in the world (for a while) was actually in my city and i worked there for 2 years, it was known as spearmint rhino Extreme! Where most clubs over here can get 200-300 ish people in (by law) we could get 1000 in our club due to its size. 3 floors, 4 bars and a shit load of "private rooms". But then they opened another one in Las Vegas which was slightly bigger, so it took the title as worlds largest gentlemans club.
Correct we DO call sneaker trainers. because we use them to train for sports.
I never understood why Jay wasn't attacked when he said bus wankers yet the 2 guys go to Simon the driver who's on the opposite side and wouldn't have seen him funny though
You might like "Friday Night Dinner" The show Will stared in after Inbetweeners, Worth Watching for Mark Heap the neighbor with the dog!
I think you'd like Friday Night Dinner. It has Will in it and is funny. Also someone mentioned Phonejacker, Facejacker and Balls of Steel... I second that! Hilarious! Loving your channel mate.
Plebs is another one they would probably like.
I'd add PhoneShop
Anyone recommended Dirty Sanchez?
The Inbetweeners was set in the village of Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire. it's about 25 miles from the Tower of London -but about 1hr to drive. Will lives in Whitley Close. Jay's house is in Cardiff Way, and Neil and Simon live on Edinburgh Drive.
The Astoria WAS an iconic concert venue. There are live albums called Live at the Astoria. Fill in the band name
I love these reactions. The genuine laughter at all the right moments. So good. Never usually a fan of react channels but this is gold.
Fake ott laughing for views
my favourite reaction channel by a mile, it makes my day 10x better when you upload your reaction to the inbetweeners. "Friday night dinner" is another UK CLASSIC. Will is one of the main characters in it too. Would love to see a reaction to it, its hilarious.
I second this! And "Friday Night Dinner" is awesome as well! :D
"Going at it like a dog eating hot chips (fries)" 😄
Sadly The Astoria (the club they are planning to go to) is naught but a pile of rubble since it was demolished to make way for the Elizabeth line station at Tottenham Court Road.
I’ve just reacted to an American UA-cam channel reacting to a whole episode of episode 1 of inbetweeners without editing. I’m amazed how some get away it some don’t.
You seem to like Greg Davies, you should check out his TV series Taskmaster.
Trainers are so called because they were originally used while running or training in the gym ect, hence training shoes, I've never really understood why you guys call em sneakers
19:27 DON’T GO IN THE SUMMER! It can be really hot in the summer and there’s no AC. Go in like May or maybe late August.
I'm old enough to have had a pair of Nike Wimbledons back in the 80's when wearing training shoes "trainers" started to become popular. I also went to school in a London suburb where there was kid who lied about everything like Jay, the most implausible things, he once told us that after missing the last train home from the city one night, he hot-wired a train to get him home.
Haha a train ffs lol
The 2 of you reacting to this show is fantastic and keeps me laughing. You guys are the best. I'm a happy muppet!
Never drive in London. Back in the late 1990’s we used to stay in London for a weekend every December in my late teens early 20’s. Perfect time to go pubs and clubs in Soho, London’s red light district.
We always went on the train. But this one year there was a train strike. So my mate offered to drive. It took us 3 hours to drive to London, then another 2 hours to drive the 5-10 miles through London to get to a long stay carpark near our hotel. Then it cost us £140 to park the car for 3 days. That was back in the late 90’s, when I was at uni and only earning £40 a week. Plus the cost of the hotel, and all the spending money to eat out, and drinking.
Great times though.
Sneakers surprisingly is not an American creation, it was first used for British army boots where extra tyre rubber was affixed to the soles so the Troops could "sneak" across No Man's Land and into enemy trenches during The First World War on covert missions...
King and Queen Boomer you are adorable together! Loving all the UK reaction videos. Please keep at them 💜
Do you sneak in them? No. Do you train in them? Yes.
I'm training to be a sneak theif
Loving the speed at which these are releasing! Just when I am getting bored and there is nothing to watch! BAM! New upload!
We’ve been waiting so long! 😂
Love your reactions🤙
If you like Greg davies he presents a show called taskmaster that is very good, worth giving it a watch
She must be on the blob went right over Boomers head, lol.
I've seen the shouting of "bus wan*ers" lead to the shouters rear ending the car in front of them, and then being surrounded laughed at and filmed by the people they shouted at lol. Also as a bouncer, seeing someone approaching my door in brand new 'white air force 1s' is one of my favourite things. AND NO! you call 'trainers' sneakers, we call trainers trainers.
They did it in the simpsons 😂 the clamp when Homer needed a pee when he was drinking crab juice
love it when u guys react to inbetweeners :) keep up the good reactions love from england
Greg Davies hosting 'Taskmaster' is great.
Think the show was filmed in a place called Watford. About 30-45 mins from central london
Even in UK wheel clamps we knew them as Denver boot, but that soon passed, just known as a wheel clamp.
It’s slightly less react-able but Fresh Meat is also a very good comedy that portrays the UK in your youth very well. Joe Thomas who plays Simon in this is in Fresh Meat as well and it’s very good, a fantastic cast form top to bottom
Most people around my age who were in sixth form / latter years of school when inbetweeners aired who then went to university around the time that Fresh Meat aired probably consider both shows almost cult classics, I know I do
Fresh meat is really good
Finally🎉🎉🎉
I’ve found over here in the U.K., especially from where I’m from which is Bristol. A lot of clubs don’t let you in if you are wearing air max’s or anything with an air bubble
There’s actually ways to get clamps off wheels if you know how, at least certain types, without a key. There were certain types of clamps they used to use that had to legally be able to be removed without a key, incase the key was lost. You just have to know how to do it. When I was about 12, me and my friends used to go to a football stadium here in London and climb under the cars and remove clamps for people who illegally parked. We did it for much cheaper than it would cost them to pay to get it removed from the people that put it on. It was our little business on a Saturday.
It's never said explicitly where it's set however many filming locations such as their houses and a live music venue they go to in a later episode was in Watford which is just outside of London to the North West and their school is in Ruislip which in a nearby outer London borough. The only clue that it must be set kinda near that area was that angry little kid that had it in for Simon in a recent episode was from Northwood which is between Watford and Ruislip.
They also mentioned a Shopping Centre called Bluewater, which is in Dartford on other side of London.
The school that was used for filming was in Ruislip, but we don't know it's set there.
@@stickytapenrust6869 And they go to Thorpe Park, where Neil works.
@@davidz3879Thorpe park isn't far by car from the Ruislip/Northwood area but as that was before Neil passed his test that would be a horrible commute by public transport. Did they ever go to Bluewater? I remember they went to a fictitious shopping centre called Waterside in one episode.
@@SOPARA862k Yes, it's Waterside - not Bluewater. It's not stated where Waterside is.
It's almost been a week, when are we getting episode 5?
Big Ben isn't the tower of London, the Tower of London is a castle near Tower Bridge which was used for a prison, torture and executions
Love the couple melt down 😂😂😂you said I said hilarious 🤣🤣
Please tell me you'll watch the 2 films too, they share the same continuity as the TV series (set after) - I've never laughed so hard in all my life as a certain scene in the 2nd film
Love watching you 2 react, you're such a UA-cam power couple 🙌🏼
I'm guessing it's the scene with shirtless Neil and Will? Amazing stuff
the fact you cant remember Jay's real name is kind of hilarious 😂😂😂
When you live in suburban London, "going up London" or "to London" just means going to central London...thats pretty much what they mean..
Jay (James Buckley) has just become the first person in the world to become a millionaire off cameo’s alone! Huge!
The actress Kacey Barnfield who played Neils sister was in one of the cheesy horror films, Lake Placid 3. IN THE NIP if you are interested.
She’s also in Resident Evil Afterlife
You have to watch Still Game next. It's a Scottish sitcom about pensioners in a rough part of Glasgow. Hilarious

Hi Guys, just have to say that I watch all the episodes when they were originally shown over here in the UK, beyond words how it hit home. Watching you and your gorgeous lady react to them like you do is like seeing them all over again for the first time, fantastic!!! Try to get to see Season 3, episode 4 - Trip to Warwick, you will literally piss yourselves laughing. Cheers
They are all bloody brilliant but that one could be the best episode 🤣
The feeling of getting into a proper club under 18 was one of the best ever back then
I didn’t go to club until I’d turned 18
I remember first seeing this and when they reacted to 2 girls 1 cup I was like "NO WAY HAHA"
2 girls 1 cup is my jam 😂
Just a heads up for when you eventually come to the UK in summer, it can get very hot and humid here, and most buildings don't have AC
awesome you're guys reactions are hilarious. love you're videos
I don't recommend coming to the UK during the mid summer. It gets surprisingly hot and very few places have AC, because it never used to get as hot as it does recently. And AC hasn't been widely adopted, at least yet.
A wheel clamp, also known as a Denver boot.
In the United States, the device became known as a "Denver boot" after the city of Denver, Colorado, which was the first place in the country to employ them, mostly to force the payment of outstanding parking tickets.
love that you guys get our humour watching you guys laugh your heads off brings back memories of watching this the first time. By the way it's set in a suburb just outside London.
Yeah in the UK you can't wear trainers in most clubs, unless you're a woman. A woman could be wearing a Burlap Sack and the bouncers will let them in. I wonder what their motives are 🤔
Tbh trainers are a bit tacky for clubs. Still when I went clubbing in the 90's up north, they let people wear whatever they wanted including trainers
I read a comment saying trainers get turned away cause they leave marks on the dancefloor that are a nightmare to clean
Easy solution for getting into a club with white trainers on? If you have black socks on, take them off and put them over your trainers. Worked for me 🙂
your question to where they actually live is just on the outskirts of London. more near the Watford area as that's where Wills house was filmed on Location so i assume that's where it's set.
ive watched inbetweeners so many times, watching you guys watch it is brilliant. not only do I enjoy you guys reactions but I can see the love you two have for each other. ay king. your girl loves you crazy man XD. glad to see it

I love the Inbetweeners. I fully recommend the comedy series “House of Fools” by Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.
Or just anything with Vic and Bob.
Inbetweeners is set in the town of Abbots Langley just north of Watford (about 30 miles north of london)
Even though I've seen all the shows before years ago, I'm loving rewatching the show with you guys. .. and any time any of my mates get the bus, we always call them bus wanker. It's ingrained in English humour now
