EDIT: 1) The GPU is mounted vertically, it is not sagging, that is just how the Vertical GPU bracket sits. It's an extremely heavy GPU, so it may give some tilt to the bracket. There is no extra stress being placed on the GPU or PCIe slot. 2) Overclocking RAM is setting XMP (Intel) / EXPO (AMD). 3) The GPU fans don't spin because of a feature called "zero RPM mode". They only start spinning when the GPU hits about 50c. There is no reason for them to spin if the GPU is not under load. Majority of AIB cards have this feature. 4) Yes, I know the GPU drivers don’t come from the motherboards support page, I just meant that they were done alongside all the other drivers. 5) Windows will NOT automatically install all drivers for you. You will still need to go to your motherboards manufacturers website and download WiFi, Chipset, LAN, Bluetooth, and audio. Since everyone is a “well, actually” in my comments sections.
i think we missed a step for flashing the bios to its update before re-entering the bios ;) very accurate video though. have done this many times... except maybe the cable management. no one is allowed to take the back panel of my PC.
Well, actually, if you're on amd, some motherboard websites have chipset drivers for your CPU, which also downloads the GPU drivers which the adrenaline software.
In my experience, 40% of a build is picking your parts and making sure they are compatible. 10% is actually building it. 50% is getting it to run correctly after you put it together.
@@DanKamYouKnow I'm making a black pc with white components inside. the fans will match what it's touching so black case black fans, white aio white fans. (waiting for the rtx 5080 all white)

I just finished a Ryzen 7 7800X3D build with an Asus 4070 Super OC in white with 32 GB DDR5 6000. Put that in a Hyte Y60 Panda. It's not bleeding edge, but it's perfect for 1440p gaming. The one thing I'm less than happy about is how short the cables for my Seasonic Focus v3 GX-850 PSU seem to be. They also weren't sleeved, which I found odd. But this is the first build I've done since my very first Athlon II build that posted without any issues. God I missed PC building, your videos are why I decided to build again instead of buying prebuilt!
This hit so hard to home, I recently did a 4090 build. Yet the only game I play is old school RuneScape 😂 I just wanted to admire the fruits of my labor. Love your videos man ❤
I admire my build like every Single Day 😅, but the only sad thing is, that all my friends don't share the same passion of looking in a clean PC for hours 😂😂. Love your videos! ❤
Man, I advise you to play the game Box Fruits. It is truly a legendary game, since you own a PC and a Hub device such as a PlayStation, but it is preferable to play it on the PC. It is true that you do not want to waste your time developing yourself (filtering yourself), but when you play it and start to become a professional player. In it, believe me, you will be addicted to it and all your content will be about this game, and its name again is Blox Fruit, and it is the end map in the game Roblox. With my regards to you ❤And I also hope. To upload a video regarding my comment and the worm game 😊
I have all the parts in front of me in a huge box and I will have to build it from scratch . I'm so freaking nervous and hope that everything works fine . Just waiting for the moment I get to sit down and admire it as well 😅.
Build my pc last year. I felt the urge to build another one, but instead I decided to tidy my cable management even further. Never the less I want to build another one 😅
I use Intel Driver & Support Assistant. It's free (though I/we may be the product), it quickly scans your system, shows you the components you got and their details, provides driver and bios updates (I think bios too) if you components have new drivers/bios available. Forgive me if this is clearly the recommendation of a low-to-mid tier PC tinkerer (I've physically built 2 PCs, owned 5, and have tackled major windows-system f*ck-ups and hurdles since XP, only by following tutorials)
My first build didnt boot up the first time you don't want to know what feeling i had in my body. After double-checking i saw that the pins of the cpu where half in and half out due to screwing the fan.
Love this! Not me getting flashbacks to my first build I did by myself, going through hours of restarts/updates wondering why XMP profile was turning on and then disappearing whenever I restarted the PC. (at the end it turned out to be a faulty CMOS battery) which was weird, because all other settings were being kept. Go figure :D
