It used to be a surefire way to crash the game for me before they limited the size of the area. Grab a 100+ rezbots/cons and issue a distributed reclaim command across all of lategame glitters. CPU did not like that.
Maybe the first version of it in BAR, but the original is Seton's Clutch, the 4v4 map in SupCom (also in the trailer, as Adaminkton pointed out). This is smaller and has water in the middle. Supreme Isthmus is relatively faithful, but larger. I think I remember a TA demake of it that had the water in the middle as well, but that was definitely a Seton's port and not an original map. Though I suppose the water in the middle allows the sea players to have a bit more impact, like you could with the Cybran amphibious destroyers.
The channel makes winning the sea much more important, because that uncontested navy can then swoop into the other lane and now both shores are getting blasted by missile boats.
20:20 very Cortex design, to be honest: one sea for generators and second for convertors ❤ 29:15 one of the moments that could push somebody's heart to the horror movie feelings 😅
imagine having 300 times as much static defense as your opponent on 19.17 that would mean having, at worst, 300 llts on your side, but in this case more likely a thousand llts or a few hundred of them mixed out for maybe 10 gauntlets, 100 anti air turrets, 50 dragons claw and so on, and that would be a pretty good thing at that point.. given the state of the game XD ... unless BW thinks gauntlets are so bad that they negatively counter your own 700 llts and all the rest of the defenses...
Petition to have an underwater com explosion animation that blasts water up into the air like a real nuke would.
One of my favorites. I play vs. the AI a lot on this one. Fun because the AI does different stuff often on this map.
never knew about holding space to distribute build orders, always wondered about that

Is there a resource page out there that shows all the helpful commands in this game? I know there's a ton of them.
@@tacticalbutler1556 The official BAR website is how I found out about holding space. All the commands there
I love how they keep on playing until the very end, I'd have thrown in the towel earlier. But i would've died a lot earlier too
I kinda wish they had deathmarched into the last push and shouted "MY LIFE FOR AIUR" or something as they self destructed. :3
This isn't a supreme isthmus clone. Rather this is the original
The original comes from the Supreme Commander trailer.

The central lane for land units on this map feels like more of a courteous afterthought for the land-players, the navel field is really where it's at

Loved playing this match as the orange player. It just felt like a 30 min long mess.
"I didn't hear no bell" hahaha!!
such a scrappy game lol, that was fun to watch
Vanaja- one of the commanders of all time!
19:20 that's 3.5x not 350x :P
More Brightworks :D

Red Team had no static D at all by that point, it must have been counting build turrets or something.
It's 350%, not 300 times, BW misspoke.
Atlasfailed is a cool name
