LOL! Thanks Vance! Ya, unit needs to have longer tabs so that you can grab them for leverage. I ended up putting a couple of hooks on there and opens more easily now.
Hey Rob, how are you? Happy 2024 to you and yours. Please forgive me when it comes to automotive/ATV knowledge, but, what is the purpose of the utility rack? I was wondering if you could give me a price for one of those new hoodies you're wearing in this video, and what other channels merch do you currently have in stock? I'd really appreciate that info, shop local still right? Lastly for now, do you do any snowmobiling during the winter months?, take care buddy.
Thanks Marc! The hoodie I received as a present, I don't have any to sell. The rack is a nice flat area to mount whatever you want and still be able to access the area below that Can Am made. I don't snowmobile and I'm tired of winter already LOL! Take care!
@@RobFarrowATV I've never liked winter either Rob, except in my childhood way back when. Please let me know if you will have any merch for sale in the coming year, bye for now and stay warm.
Let’s just say hypothetically I didn’t buy a max and just simply want to know in the uploaders opinion if it’ll support a seat and passenger…. 🤷♂️🤷♂️
@@kylehartman4664 I just cut some wood to size, spray paint it black and put it in there to fill the void and make it level, then put my kimpex nomad 2 up seat/trunk on my HD7 pro hunting edition.
I don't plan on submerging it, so should be fine on my end. When I had my XMR850 I bought a waterproof box from Canadian Tire and mounted it cause I knew I'd be sinking it LOL! Thanks Man!
I bought mine last May and it has surpassed my expectations. The 700 goes where you point it with no issues. They solved many complaints from many makes on a mid-size. My only complaint is fit & finish. Panels that don't fit flush, bumper that is closer to the fender on one side so it's bent, decals not aligned with each other, etc. All minor issues to me as I only care about function over looks. The only design thing I would change is latch on the front box. I wish you could open it one handed because you have something in your hand you want to put in there, you have to set it down somewhere first.
Yes, that box is a pain to open cause you always have something in one hand, never fails! I don't worry about fit and finish as I crash thru dense bush and smash into things LOL! So far so good.
@@RobFarrowATV lol...yep, fit&finish doesn't mean anything when it's covered in muddy snow with sticks sticking out everywhere. I love the power and simplicity of shifting the most. And that seat is really comfortable. I disconnected the rear sway bar as well.
Rack looks very secure and sturdy, however Not a fan of water, mud, dirt, dust and snow being able to get inside and sit back there with my stuff.. Major design flaw in my opinion.. One day of riding, unless it has been really dry out for a while,,, I would imagine anything back there will be soaked,,,
That is a nice unit and so versatile !! I have a set of dumbbells that I can let you have so you can do curls so it is easier to open it up 🤣🤣

Would you consider this rack solid enough to mount a passenger seat to?
Buy a max chassis with the proper 2 up seat.

No, it won't take the weight of someone sitting on it, sorry.

This only one thing I've been disappointed about that tool box it's not waterproof. But it carried enough tools to rip the whole 4 Wheeler apart

Can you give us an honest review of this atv? I’m very interested in getting one
Did a 24hr review on it, loving it and no issues in over 1500kms ua-cam.com/video/pY6RQ0DA48U/v-deo.html

You can add the BRP box on top of the rack or the smaller BRP box under the rack. Thanks Joseph!
