I call it my HQ (Headquarters) I work from home (16years now) and also have a place in the East Coast (Bi Coastal) Henderson is quiet, low key and not much chaos. This is why I moved here from LA in 2005. When I need excitement, I jump on a flight and vacation. This is the preferred lifestyle for me. And bonus! Im sooooo happy to be seeing more of "US" living here now. ❤

This is definitely a well-made video and is also a completely misguided video. I just left Lake Las Vegas and stayed at the Hilton. It was horrible, the "luxury" feel and esthetics of the hotel must have been from the early 80's. Here are the things that made it a nightmare: Extremely bad smell of rotten eggs coming through the vents in each area, including the room. To my disappointment, the village is a ghost town, the village was closed and no people around. No water sports due to the bacteria in the water Minimal staff and they walked around like zombies. Cigarette burns in the furniture, eerie dark parking structure. Urns in every part of the hotel decor. A pack of raccoons, storming up the outside starecase. The only thing that kept them from attacking us was another guest throwing leftover food to them as a distraction. Yes, there is construction for new properties in the area, but if that ghost vibe is all over the area, why would anyone want that "walking zombie" feeling where they live? Not me!

Actually it is! I-515 was built to bypass Fremont Street and Boulder Highway, both of which were former alignments of US 93, US 95, and US 466, and provide a direct freeway connection with Henderson. In August 2017, the segment of I-515 between the I-215 interchange and the southern city limits of Henderson was redesignated as I-11.
Unfortunately crime can be found in any city, however in my experience I have not found Las Vegas to be an issue. It also depends on your location as well of course
