I don't know if I've ever seen a chemistry between a host and a guest. They are more like a comedy team than a guest and host at this point in the many shows they did together. Thanks for posting this!
@@alalducente Johnny Carson was great. O'Brien has his moments The others I agree with you. I don't even bother watching them. If you enjoy Ferguson then go with it. To me he's a bore in a blowhard
Steven Wright just has that thing where almost everything that comes out of his mouth makes me laugh even if sometimes it wouldn't be funny if someone else was saying it. His delivery is great.
I love seeing Steven laugh now that he's middle aged. Was more important to always stay in character while he was younger... but hes not only my favorite comedian all time, but clearly such a good dude, and deserves to laugh a little bit lol.
I love interviews with Steven Wright. They're always make you think. They often ask important philosophical questions like: "Is there life between wall and paint?"
Jesus, there are some gems here! "Have you ever been to France?" "Not in the way you mean." "Sometimes I'll read music, then listen to a book on tape."
This was such an entertaining interview- that Steven is a tough guy to crack! I'm curious about him, loved his steel straight faces. And Craig- he's a smart bastard. Love love love him.
Ive said this once ill say it again. After Johnny Carson. Craig Ferguson let comics have the most fun. He'd let them play and just be crazy. Now its Conan. But none of the Jimmys or even Colbert forget about Corden none let comics on besides Kevin Hart on and just go crazy.
I had just brought my new wife from the Philippines and I turned her on to Steven Wright. Unfortunately, she got only about 1/3 of what he said. She still likes him so that's a good thing.👍😎
Can someone tell me how this ends? Somehow they get into a completely stupid conversation about music and then Steven says "Sometimes I'll read music and then I'll listen to a book on tape." I'm laughing so hard I can't watch the rest of it.
Ferguson didn't get Steven. Conan did. He needs someone to play the straight man to his fool, not someone who is trying to keep up with his foolishness.
Steven has found his match in both of these men and he broke character quite often. He's gained weight and his former ascetic face looks kind of bloated. I take notice because I love this guy as a laconic stand-up.And Craig is like a kid when he can land a hit .and Steve has to hide in vain his grin.

Wandering Wade. I AGREE TOTALLY...
Conan and bill burr
First time I've seen Steven Wright laugh during an interview. Ferguson is a riot
Jeffrey2038 Ferguson is annoying loud and obnoxious
@@willrogan955 Fallon is annoying Colbert is loud and Corden is obnoxious same with Kimmel...Ferguson and Conan are great

He laughed on Conan too. I think he does that so the audience members who aren't familiar with him understand that he's somewhat in character.

And Peter Cook as well. It's a rare ability.
After watching him on Leno this is a much needed relief. Craig Ferguson has a great rapport with him
Leno is pure garbage. No one likes him and no one wants to be on his show. People just do it because publicity.
3:45 "Sometimes I'll read music and then listen to a book on tape"
When I'm truly down in the dumps these two bastards lift my spirit. Thank you!
"these two bastards" LOL

This is the best one of the Craig Ferguson-Steven Wright interviews
I love interviews with Steven Wright. They're always make you think. They often ask important philosophical questions like: "Is there life between wall and paint?"
I love when Craig told him the "what's in my box" concept it was so abstract and absurd that for a few seconds even Steven Wright went: WTF? ... haha
Jesus, there are some gems here!
"Have you ever been to France?"
"Not in the way you mean."
"Sometimes I'll read music, then listen to a book on tape."
He smiles...he laughs! He should do it more often!
Great together and by themselves.

BEST FERGUSON INTERVIEW EVER!!!
This is the first time I've seen him really laugh. I wasn't sure he could.
"Sometimes I read music and listen to a book on tape"
these two make a great comedy duo.
I know right, I didn't think he could do anything but make a straight face
This guy is king of timing
I love the chemistry between these two. And between Stephen and Doug or whatever the skeletons name is.
I love to hear Steven Wright laugh
Edit: 2023, watching again,
One of his funniest interviews 😭
I GOT GENUINELY SCARED WHEN I SAW STEVEN LAUGHING OUT LOUD!
@John Frum Twenty times, actually, but I am not sure they are all on UA-cam.
dude .. ferguson with his improv is almost as good at steven's thing as steven himself
I miss this show
that was some mad comedy genious from the start of "julile andrews" to the last question. wright and ferguson hit next level here.
"no .. not how you mean .. " is now my new thing to say..
The XD really brings it together, good title bro
i love when steven wright is on the show. he is probably my favorite guest that has ever been on, with the exception of maybe gerard butler.
"There's things right now that I'm blockin' out. Can you tell?"
"...Yeah."
Take me now, God. I'm dead.
Their comedy is perfectly complementary, they both are funnier together.
OMG!!!!!! SO GOOOOOD!!!!
the king of comedy....ladies and gentlemen ...CRAIG FERGUSOOON
Lol this reminds me of Dave Letterman interviewing andy kaufman back in the day :)
This guy makes me laugh everytime he is on, even though I think he wont...XD
he is great with Craig
Never seen Wright's eyes so bright as when he looked up after smelling his finger. I bet he remembered his childhood ! haha
Steven wright sounds like bill murry in the Garfield cartoons lol.
You know... When I'm in there, I'm in there.
My favorite part of the segment!! Craig's WTF face afterwards cracks me up even more
😂👍 He laughed! 🙂😂👊 Awesome!
its rare to see Steven Wright laugh
in a month i´l have my degree in Psychology and i didn´t have the least idea of what you where referening with that.
I think Corporal Poon is referring to introvert/ extrovert types. It makes sense.

Stephen really makes you think. XD
6:15 that was weird...
I'm crying X::D
What's that Cleveland joke mean?
Earlier in this episode Craig and Geoff were joking about a place called Beaver, Cleveland.
Steven is great-but even he can't beat Craig in impromptu answers.
What's the Cleveland joke about?
Only show you can see wright lol
What does "In that case...Have you been to Cleevland?" mean, as the response to Steven's joke? Could anybody help me out?
I think he just wanted to crack Steven. Home Run!
I had just brought my new wife from the Philippines and I turned her on to Steven Wright. Unfortunately, she got only about 1/3 of what he said.
She still likes him so that's a good thing.👍😎
I want to stop watching this but can't.
Craig ferguson is an ENFP. Steven Wright is an ISTP. these two psyche types have a duality relationship
Can someone tell me how this ends? Somehow they get into a completely stupid conversation about music and then Steven says "Sometimes I'll read music and then I'll listen to a book on tape." I'm laughing so hard I can't watch the rest of it.
Hey don't you dare forget about Geoff :P.
LOL Spain isn't in the south of France
But what does she have to do with the imaginary box in Craig's head?
Too funny!!!!!!!!!
When u can’t find anymore norm videos
…get WRIGHT...
6:19 ☺
Just block it out.
In this case, ignorance is bliss.

Worst TV show host in the world!!! Worse then Jimmy Fallon. Steven wright however is great.
