Honest Trailers made a joke saying MCU Taskmaster was based off of Origins: Wolverine’s version of “Deadpool” because of the fact Marvel now owns the movie rights to Deadpool
No but given that Taskmaster is fighting Street Fighter characters, imagine how much stronger he'd be. Being able to copy some of the strongest World Warriors from just watching them, in a world where shooting fireballs from your hand can just happen, is nuts. Taskmaster would be a lowkey monster in this universe
Not even just that. Consider how powerful characters are like Lady in DMC since she is on par with Trish in terms of total power and much more skilled in combat than Dante. To compare canon power levels with marvel Dante is more powerful than Thor and Trish is probably in between Dr. Doom and Thor.
he should be a monster in all universes but he really isnt. hes okay but in a world where he has cap, hulk, thor, wolverine, iron fist, daredevil, elektra, blade, ghost rider, deadpool, carnage, sabretooth, goddamn sentry he should be doc doom level threat. yea in the street fighter tournament he might beat all but that doesnt really help him achieve his world destroying plans

@@itsanti2748 yeah, MVC is how I discovered a lot of the characters outside of the mcu and when I watched black widow with my family, I literally looked to my dad and went, “That’s taskmaster?!” One of the few times in films where im visibly disappointed
Taskmaster is usually an Avenger or Deadpool villain. But he's not straight-up evil, he's a mercenary who'll work for whoever pays him the most. He's trained soldiers, superheroes, criminals. His powers are to steal other people's powers & use them against his opponent. Hence him having Spidey's webswing move, Cap's shield moves, Hawkeye's arrows & the Black Knight's sword.
He doesn't really have powers. He has photographic reflexes, which allow him to instantly copy the fighting moves and techniques of his opponents without practice.
"You can't run away. You're in for a world of hurt!" Badass. Also, to anyone that says he's a villain, Taskmaster is actually a neutral Marvel character. Kinda like Deadpool.
Do you want some advice? Run. Forget all this. Walk away and never look back. Because once you find the answers you're looking for, there's no going back. Sometimes it's better to forget. -Taskmaster

I'm bummed about how Taskmaster was portrayed in Black Widow. But hey, after season 1 of Loki it looks like we may get Tony Masters from one of those multiverses that opened up
Man, I just love the concept of _monkey see, monkey do_ powers. (Edit) I really like Taskmaster as a character and his ability is probably one of the best in Marvel. All this guy's missing with each of his appearances is the John Cena theme. He may not be capable of competing with the big guys like Ironman and Hulk, but just the fact that he can memorize any and all patterns he comes across is more than amazing in my book. I'm just surprised he doesn't do something unique with that exquisite memory of his. Like, I don't know, start studying science and build himself his own ironmanesque suit? Sure, he cannot replicate superhuman traits or abilities, but he can memorize and acess his memory at an alarming rate. If he utilized it just a bit more creatively, he could become one of the best villains to date. But that's just my opinion.
Yunus Tekbas I believe at one point Taskmaster used his photographic memory and heightened intelligence to make a practically identical Captain America shield (the one he uses in game). Also, he has developed his own version of the Spider Sense after watching Spider-Man fight so often. In the "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe" series, he fought Deadpool one on one and Deadpool was letting him copy every move knowing he would also start thinking like him as well; the result was that Taskmaster became aware of the Fourth Wall. He addressed the audience before being killed. So Taskmaster can develop some mind or sense based superpowers but, obviously, can't recreate powers that require actual physical abnormalities.
That's honestly amazing. But if I remember correctly he didn't *make* the shield, it was given to him. But then again, it's been years since I watched anything that included Taskmaster... even as a cameo. Now imagine if he actually got a hold of the infinity gauntlet or the power gem-- I mean, deadpool did it, spiderman did it, almost every character had it at one point... why couldn't he?
Yunus Tekbas (Adjusts nerd glasses) Actually, Deadpool got his hands on the Time Gem, claiming it to be the one that altered continuity (although, for a one-shot issue, he did take the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos, used it to make everyone in the Marvel universe celebrate his birthday, then gave it back), Spider-Man never had a true Infinity Gem but was enhanced at some point by the Power Gem. But to answer your question, if Taskmaster ever got his hands on the Infinity Gauntlet itself or even just one of the Gems, he would likely already know exactly how to use it (having seen Thanos, Captain America, and even Deadpool use it) and would use it to give himself the ability to copy physical powers as well. Now that would be scary, because you could send in the Hulk in World Breaker form to punch him in the face, Taskmaster would take it like a champ, and punch back with just as much if not more power.
Yeah the one-shot was what I was referring to with Deadpool. Also, I was pretty sure there was an issue where Peter got hold of the gauntlet... was there not? That aside, you present an exciting theory... but at the same time I wonder if he would even do anything that special. I mean, he does have photographic reflexes and all but, he isn't really a guy who fantasizes in his head a lot. I doubt he'd be like Thanos, Deadpool or any other extreme villain or hero, but at the same time he could just do something totally unexpected and maybe even change the continuity for the better. He is wise when wisdom is needed, but he also cares for himself before anything else. If he became a God, then I can't foresee what he would do. The only reason he became a criminal instead of a superhero was because it was more profitable.
@@JohnDoe-sl6di actually now I’d be good in different way. Instead of the two bouncing off each other we in get Deadpool insulting Taskmaster the entire time. He wouldn’t even acknowledge her responses (assuming she even gives any) and just speak to the audience talking shit

Well, Taskmaster has firearms, swords, arrows, advanced weapons and shield. Hand to hand he has fighting moves actually from at least 20 marvel characters. He knows many fighting styles (boxing, kung fu, capoiera, etc...) He's fought the likes of iron man pretty well. Even the sonic boom I believe can be blocked with his energy shield. He's very agile and peak human in basically everyway. Taskmaster even without predicting his every move he still has good reflexes. Fights superhumans regularly..
Must say, a lot of this sounds a bit too heroic, then they bring in the latter movement that's more minor chords and discordant. It captures the photographic reflexes of Tasmaster, while also sounding like he's a troubled mercenary

This is the theme that plays when all the Marvel Heroes have been killed off, and the only one to defend the planet, is Taskmaster himself. The Skrulls think they've got it in the bag, only Taskmaster knows ALL the moves of the slain heroes, and it's time to put those skills to use.
You are the ass kickee, I am the ass kicker!
Shield skills!
Just like Cap!
Spidey swing!
Aim of Hawkeye!
I see you!
Shoulder throw!
Judo throw!
You can't run away! You're in for a world of hurt!
Welcome to the MCU, Taskmaster.
EDIT: Nevermind.
startmirca My thoughts exactly
his design is trash tho :(
@@k-phantom9358 yep that hurts
But his outfit sucks as the avengers game is 10x better and more comic accurate
@Watashiwa Gaesekidesu skull mask or ski mask gee wonder which screams more mystery smh
I always liked how his theme is him copying the game's main theme.
"Thanks for the moves, now getouttamy face !"
Taskmaster: anything you can do I can do better. I can do anything better than you
Spider-man: no you cant?
Taskmaster: yes I can
Captain America: no you cant??
Taskmaster: yes I can
Black widow: no you cant???
Taskmaster: yes I can, YES I CAN.
Capcom handles the marvel properties better than disney and marvel themselves.
Should have just continued the partnership and left the property in the hands of those who know what they’re doing.
Although, this was a around the time when Capcom was doing some shady shit like on disc dlc... so theres that, but they seem better now.
On disc dlc?
@@jessielemon6967 That basically means that capcom(or any other dev that does this) already included the dlc character on the disc and what you buy in the digital store is just a unlock key to use said character.
Resident evil biohazard
Monster hunter world
Devil may cry v
Mega man 11
Capcom fighting evolution
Resident evil village
Monster hunter rise
Yeah they are going great
every person in this game for their ideals, goals, justice, conquest or just revenge and then theres taskmaster who is just on that grind
Gotta respect that Simga Anti-Hero Grindset :P
"Don't make your own moves. Just steal everyone else's to save more time for the grind." --Sigma Taskmaster
Probably my favorite character theme in the game.
Imagine the MCU Taskmaster with the quotes of THIS Taskmaster
Now this is Taskmaster
"Don't take it personally, when I BULLSEYE AN ARROW THROUGH YOUR SKULL!!"
YOU CAN'T RUN AWAY
YOU'RE IN FOR A WORLD OF HURT!
i think i might pick this game up again
There's never been a better time to do so.
Dokuro RAIDAAA no. NOW is
make movie about taskmaster
why isn't anyone funding this
he is one of deadpools enemies right? I bet he appear in the next movie.
AnimeWolfgamer frienemy
They can`t. According to Deadpool director interview. Taskmaster licenses is in Marvel studio now. And if you read the comics, he was Avenger enemy than Deadpool enemy.
Reza Satria then make a Dyese movie
Batroc the Leaper is gonna be in the next Captain America film, yet still no sign of Tasky? Come on, Marvel Studios. Make it happen!
I'll be okay with it for Taskmaster to appear in the next Avengers movie
Aww.. No Molecule man?
*****
Go with the Udon mask for Tasky. Easily doable and would actually look pretty sick!
***** Doctor Henry Prym, the Ant Man, would say otherwise.
There is a chance that he may get his own movie, as Joe Carnahan signed to direct a film for him.
Theme of absolute victory and power
PKMNchmpEMERALD7 It goes with everything.
I didn't even get to show you all my moves.
Well maybe in another fighting game universe he says: "Show me your moves".
The uniforms even look similar around the neck
He gets the most awesome theme in the game yet is still beaten to a pulp by Deadpool and Spider Man in USM.
lightyearpig12 dont you dare mention usm DIES
lightyearpig12 And in USM, Spidey has fourth wall jokes that Wade would say is a bit much, what's your point?
lightyearpig12 I know i love that show
lightyearpig12 That show sucks. Taskmaster is way more awesome. And he's not afraid of Deadpool like the show potrays him.
Alan Ortiz I LOVE ULTIMATE SPIDER MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man it’s nice to see that skeletor is still getting work these days
Taskmaster has quickly grown for me from an unknown to my absolute favorite character in the game. I just can't have a team without him.
Taskmaster's new moves in MvC4:
===========================
1. Shots of Deadpool: (Deadpool's Trigger Happy)
2. Cap Slice: (Captain America's Shield Slash)
3. Grenade Toss: (Deadpool's Ninja Gift)
4. Venom Arrow: (Hawkeye's Poison Tip)
5. Fire Sword: (Sliver Samurai's Flame Sword)
6. Web Taser: (Spider-Man's Web Ball)
7. Triad Arrow: (Hawkeye's Triple Arrow)
8. Baton Spin: (Daredevil's Billy Club)
I love the fact that it sounds so similar to the main mvc3 theme because his whole shtick is copying things from different people or media
La mejor canción de todo el juego sin duda alguna suena muy heroica y me motiva
Taskmaster + Smash Bros = Trolls
Megaman + Smash Bros = Fun.
Choose Capcom. Not Marvel.
Well of course a Capcom mascot would support that....but yes, Capcom all the way
That's the most random thing I've read in a while.
Also, they should have put the true megaman mascot in Smash, ZERO!
TurtleMaster TheUnholyOne mega man is more representative...
he is the first character of that series
Set0x17 The fact that you took that seriously is kinda sad
TurtleMaster TheUnholyOne .....
It sounds like a workout song and it totally fits Taskmaster's habit of stealing moves and teaching them.
It will forever be a mystery why those eyes never creeped me out.
DAT TRUMPET DOE
i hope this theme is in the black widow movie 🥺🥺
We need to talk
Somehow this seems to fit Captain America more....
Fun Fact: Taskmaster stole Blade's theme when he was cancelled to make an appearance in MAHVEL 3, so he thought it would be okay to use it.
@@datanotfoundpleasetryagain3559 i guess you can say he copied blade's theme
Well, perfect. That's because Taskmaster wants you to think that. lol
Feels like a captain america theme more then anything XD
+$moker I know right? I always thought that!
Paladin I think it's because of the drums
$moker It's the heroic sounding music
+$moker Think 'training montage'. His stock in trade, after all, is training people.
Chronic but better in every why XD
Taskmaster, we'll see you on the big screen in 2020
This aged poorly
@@iceguy8141 Indeed it did.
Very poorly.
oof
This didn’t just age poorly. It’s beyond salvaging… 😭
This aged poorly twice, so that sucks
"DON'T YOU KNOW ANY OTHER MOVES!!??"
Tmw Taskmaster is a secret boss in the new Spider-Man game for PS4.
"YOU'RE IN FOR A WORLD OF HURT!!!!!"
Wow. Seriously? Is this some kinda of DLC?
@@elmemearana No. You get to fight him by doing the in-game side quests you have for him.
@@StarForce99 hum, cool! Is he like a easter egg, so?
@@elmemearana No. He's a part of the main game
@@StarForce99 oh. Ok, then. Sorry for the misunderstanding :D
Welcome to the MCU, Taskmaster!
This aged surprisingly poorly…
yep
Why the hell is this so good!! Dammit this should be Captain America's theme!!
Well someone agrees!
Not Murican enough to fit the great Captain America tho.
Zetto Vii The sounds of those trumpets does not fill you with the pride and patriotism of a thousand red, white, and blue bald eagles?! Then begone from this realm!
tyler keller Sounds more like the theme of a medieval knight for me, rather than a murican hero of justice and freedom...
Zetto Vii
Sounds like the song of a medieval spy to me!
"I like all interpretations of taskmaster, and I'm tired of pretending I don't!!"
*Everyone ever would like to know your location.*
People say this is a heroic theme, makes sense since the tools and skills he uses are of heroes so he can get the upper hand. I cant help but hear an underlying amount of villainy in this song even if its mainly using heroic themes
No matter what the MCU does with this character, he'll always be the smartass from the bronx.
"I can tell this one likes weapons too."
"Ooh, hidden weapons. This'll be fun."
"Maybe you need some more weapons!"
"You kiss your mother with that face? Geez."
"Hey there slick, we meet again."
"I'll send you a bill for the lesson!"
"Long time no see, Cap."
"I'm sorry but who are you?"
"Hahaha! Maybe I should show you how to use that shield!"
"Scum!"
"I do this for cash not for the thrills."
"I'm so much better than you. You can't win."
"Hm, any money in pest control? Guess we're about to find out!"
"Think you'll good stuffed and mounted over my fireplace."
"You're gonna try to out-archer ME? Good luck with that."
"Don't take it personally when I bullseye an arrow through your skull!"
"Hah! Thanks for the archery lesson, William Tell!"
Thank God for Taskmaster and his theme 😇🙏
Also God could you please make me marry a thicc goth latina? Amen.
is it just me or is this song too heroic
***** Well he is often portrayed as an antihero to this day.
***** and it does work well as his theme
Wasn't he a hero but then turned into an anti-hero after some mental breakdown thing?
Yunus Tekbas His power led to memory problems, so he can't remember being a good guy, but he still feels guilt for what he's done, so he just assumes he's a bad guy all the time.
Beyond Birthday he copied his theme from the heroes
Supervillian with an epic superhero theme
Edit: Never thought I’d get this many likes for a simple comment, thanks lads
***** yeah I guess so, and I prefer this classic Taskmaster, where he slang talks, don't really like this new serious one, but anyway this song is epic
nakedwolf14085 Hey I paid the right people
Taskmaster my mistake, please don't kill me
+Taskmaster Ew Tasky...do you kiss your mom with that mouth?
+Aaron Mccormick-Mcnaughton Venom had a bit of trouble with the manager after trying to hit up on Morrigan... let's just say that it didn't end very well for him.
kirby + link + some dude from brooklyn = taskmaster
Well, Taskmaster has firearms, swords, arrows, advanced weapons and shield. Hand to hand he has fighting moves actually from at least 20 marvel characters. He knows many fighting styles (boxing, kung fu, capoiera, etc...) He's fought the likes of iron man pretty well. Even the sonic boom I believe can be blocked with his energy shield. He's very agile and peak human in basically everyway. Taskmaster even without predicting his every move he still has good reflexes. Fights superhumans regularly..
Thanks for the archery lesson William Tell!
Can't wait for this guy to appear in a movie.
Well. That didn't age well...
@@Ninja_Koopa no….. it didn’t
Taskmaster (Marvel vs. Capcom): Why the hell would a female of me copy my moves, that's why I'm better then her.
Taskmaster, Shuma Gorath, Ryu, and Spider Man had the best themes.
I hear this theme when my teacher says "Okay class 2mins before the test is over"
“ I COULD copy your super powers, but why the h🤬ll would I want to?”
Taskmaster to Dante: "You're like an open book! I can read your every move!"
Must say, a lot of this sounds a bit too heroic, then they bring in the latter movement that's more minor chords and discordant. It captures the photographic reflexes of Tasmaster, while also sounding like he's a troubled mercenary
TaskMaster is one of my favorite Marvel villains
Hope They Turned The Taskmaster Name into a mantle and give it to the REAL ONE in the MCU
I think they have confirmed that taskmaster is a mantle, but idk if the real tony masters will show up
He trained villains nuff said.
"You are the ass kick-ee, I am the ass kicker!"
Assist me?
+Silver The "Psychic" Hedgehog That's actually one of his lines in the game incase you didn't know
KiddAce well shit!
Taskmaster: Long time no see, Cap.
Captain America: I'm sorry, but who are you?
