First saw that back in early 1990's. Still funny. Ben is a former classmate of my husband. My then, boyfriend started yelling one day. I ran in the room thinking the house was on fire. Nope, he saw Ben and was yelling, that's my classmate and old friend. I still have the books and VHS tapes. Been signing everyday for 30 years. Have a whole library of materials. Good times!
i love ben behan. this was a variation of a story by douglas adams from decades ago, only it was a package of biscuits that he & a stranger silently fought over 😂 i wonder why they never cite it 🤷
Yeah the captioning is ruining it. The whole program is about immersion. They used to have the complete full lessons one and two on youtube. I see it's all snippets now. I ignored the captions and just watched Ben.

I really wish there wasn't captions on this. :(
You can scroll down a little to cover the captions. Hope this helps!

Wish I could make the captions go away...so I could use this as a teaching tool in my class.

You could always edit them out
But my teacher posted a video that I think is the same one but with no captions
ua-cam.com/video/4CA08YrU2Do/v-deo.html here is the same story but without captions my teacher showed us both for class

I cover the captions with a post-it. In Zoom, I cover it with a rectangular shape using Zoom's annotation feature.
