Hey beauties, let’s talk about Chanel foundation! By breaking down the choices I hope you have a better understanding of which is best for your skin type and preference. I love them all but I’m curious to hear from you guys. Which formula is your favorite?! Xx
Everyone needs to try the les beiges water tint. Had a Valentine's Day Chanel client appointment in store. Had just had a facial earlier in the day so the artist recommended not applying a heavy foundation to my freshly exfoliated face. Have never wanted anything but full coverage to cover some scars. Usually apply focally and blend out. We used the water tint and spot concealed, and I was shocked. My face has never looked more flawless. It simply appearing as if I naturally had beautiful, glowing perfectly even skin. Life changing experience. I felt so effortlessly beautiful instead of made up.
I’ve been using the Sublimage, ever since my all-time favorite, Lift Lumiere was discontinued. It’s hard to find a foundation, when you’re over 60, that does’nt accentuate wrinkles, and make them even more noticeable, but Sublimage seems to work in that regard (and the anti-aging component is a nice bonus). BTW, I really enjoy your videos, not just because of your great knowledge and authority about the products you discuss, but also because of your enthusiasm and exuberance on screen. It’s wonderful, and very infectious.
I am 75 years young and have dry skin with wrinkles.I LOVE the Sublimage. It looks better on my skin than anything I have found and feels hydrating all day.!
Hello! I just started working in a Chanel Beauty Boutique in Flocence (Italy) one month ago and I found your video really helpful!!! Thank you so much for being so clear and exhaustive! I love Chanel, most of all skincare products, so I’m trying to learn more about make up products that are basically infinite! 😁
Ultra Le Teint is superior, such a fantastic product and while thicker in consistency it looks so natural on the skin. Gorgeous luminous finish with outstanding staying power, the best! 😊👌
I’m loving the water fresh tint! On my second bottle now! Love how it comes with a brush, just so cute!!!! Chanel makeup is my favorite! Stay healthy 💕
I have mature, textured very dry skin with pigment/freckles My Chanel favorites are (1) the Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint in medium/light. I use this as primer in the winter and for minimal makeup days in the summer. (2) Chanel CC Cream in 20 Beige. It's so lovely and light. The finish is luminous and I can see my freckle peaking through the CC cream. (3) Sublimate Le Teint in 21 Beige. I don't find this very full coverage. I do notice it more on my skin, but you can definitely see my freckles in a similar fashion with the CC cream. I do find this more natural/matte which is most likely related to my very dry skin.
Les Beiges Water Tint is amazing. I have older skin (56 years) with sun pigmentation from years of sailing with no sunscreen or hat (I know, but we just didn’t worry about sun damage then). My skin hasn’t ‘liked’ foundations much lately but the Les Beiges Water Tint is absolute perfection. Wrinkles seem to disappear and skin tone evens out.
Bonjour Erin. My english is not good. Ma question is: Could you explain the différent between the old and The new " Soleil Tan de Chanel"? Merci beaucoup. Jenn
Bonjour Jen. J’ai le fan de soleil de Chanel (ancien et nouveau), bien que je n’aie pas complètement utilisé, je pourrais dire que le nouveau est un peu plus crémeux et a une sorte de sous-teinte orange qui semble difficile à mélanger pour moi.
🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 From those Chanel Complexion Products I've got the 1th, 3th and 5th of those what you have talked in this video, and I do really like all of them a lot. I'am 50 years old, my skin is very dry to dry, but all of those 3 complexion products suits very good to my skin, of course with very good primers. This winter I'am using and serum and facial oil (before applying I wet my facial and neck skin, and than I apply facial oil), and than on the top on of those Chanel MU-products, and it melts perfect everything together without any to much shine. 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
It is great to see someone closer to my age doing makeup tutorials. I am in my 40’s & have t/ zone oily skin. Here are my dilemmas: -foundation wears off by the end of the day -can’t do a winged liner or any, for that matter, as by midday my waterproof mascara & eyeliner are smudged under my eyes. I have tried powder & light shadow under my eyes- no luck. -I want a full coverage, but natural look - any suggestions? - what do you recommend for: - skincare? I’m using Curology - mascara, liner, eye shadow, long lasting but hydrating lipstick/gloss -any glitter makeup you can recommend
Thank you so much!!! I have spent many visits to chanel counters inquiring about differences in the foundations and no one has told me anything close to this! Ver much appreciated!
I just discovered the “cc cream “ and I just love it ,love it ,love it .......for the summer I’m so happy it has SPF and all the extra lovely ingredients I’m really happy with it but after watching this fabulous video I might invest in “Le Beige”for the winter time Your videos are so great and so informative.
I wear water fresh tint, I think its good for me, lightweigt, smooth, just love it. Sometimes I like to add poudre universelle on it. Naturally like second skin. That's what I want
I appreciate your Chanel videos so much! I order everything online so hearing from a person who can personally describe each foundation is really helpful to me. ❤️
Vitalumiere Aqua is the most amazing foundation like no other. It feels so fresh and lightweight and dewy and makes the skin looks so healthy!!! I love it!
Your video was very helpful in guiding me to choose my next foundation. Thank you for letting us know which skin types benefit from each product too. Btw, you looked beautiful with dark hair!
Hi Erin, I hope this message finds you very well! I’m just telling you again how much your videos have helped out to go through my makeup wishlist and purchases. You’re great on the Chanel products review! Love the way you do your makeup effortlessly beautiful and flawless. Thank you so much for your engagement to provide us all your thoughts on makeup and beauty in general.
Okay I desperately need your help with foundation! I’ve been using Double Wear solely for years & decided to move on. It just wasn’t skin-like & too heavy. I have dry skin, with a slightly oily t-zone. I’m 24 & I like my skin to look dewy/radiant/satin, def. not matte. I don’t want to look like a disco ball either though 😂 I like medium to full coverage, doesn’t emphasize dry patches/texture, pores, or transfer too easily. I also do not want it to clog my pores/cause breakouts. I bought all of these foundations & truly cannot decide between them... 1. Givenchy Everwear 2. Dior Forever Skin Glow 3. Shiseido Synchro (I’m quite nervous about if this or Dior skin glow will cause breakouts) 4. Nars Sheer Glow or Radiant Longwear 5. Guerlain Lingerie De Peau 6. ABH Luminous. I’ve tried Armani Luminous Silk & I feel like it just doesn’t last throughout the day (to justify the price) and it almost makes my skin appear more dry 🤷🏼♀️
Loved your review. I’ve been using Chanel foundation only and have seen the changes they’ve made over the years. Nothing to complain about all good improvements. I watched your video for the cc cream review. Honestly think it would be a great addition for summer. Thank you😊 💕
I loved this video! In the winter if my skin acts up I will choose Vita Lumiere. I otherwise like the sublimage foundation, but I own all except the newer version of le taint ultra tenure and the les beige skin tint. I want to get both to complete my collection and to have a foundation wardrobe. It's also good to have different ones to suit your skin's need and to suit your mood.
This video was so helpful! Les beiges eau de teint looks so beautiful, I’ve been searching for demonstrations videos, since it has a hefty price point and I don’t want to spend so much money on something if I am not sure I will use de heck out of it. Your review was very detailed and the comparative between products was just what I needed. Thank you!
Erin Nicole TV and your natural beauty helps too ☺️ have you thought about doing a skin care video? ♥️ I would love to see which products you recommend, I really trust everything you suggest on your “favorites products” videos
...a disastrous week in the world but a beautiful week of your videos on YT, thank you so much for all the hard work you do🌷 Sublimage will probably be forever my favorite foundation, it’s like a “red carpet” complexion product- whenever I need to look my best or when my skin is not feeling well, this will work 💯 But because it’s so special, I don’t use it often, though I have 2 jars in 30 & 20 (my ideal shade is 21, but oh well... I’ll have to finish these first) The one I reach for the most is the Les Beiges tinted moisturizer. And of course I love the water tint. I actually discovered recently that paired together they look so great, super fresh & natural. In the summer the CC cream works great The one foundation I cannot use that I have is a vitalumiere cushion- even my dry skin looks like a greasy pancake, I just don’t like it & don’t use it, unfortunately
This was wonderful, thank you. Liked hearing the facts regarding each foundation, & the descriptions, but also your own personal experience with the ones you wear.
New Subbie! You are so good at reviews, I really appreciate the breakdown and showing us the foundation on your face with no other make up to distract us, also your voice is so pleasant. Great job, Thank you 👌🏼✨
Ooh that's a good question! The water fresh tint is more dewy at first but I think throughout the day the moisturizing tint remains dewy. The main difference will be the coverage, if you want light coverage go with the tint. If you want very minimal light coverage that looks like your skin, the water fresh tint is great! xx
Thank you Erin - such a helpful video! I have the Vitalumiere Aqua and looove it! I also have the Ultra Le Teint but don’t reach for it often. You look extra gorgeous by the way - maybe staying at home isn’t such a bad thing! 🥰
THANKYOU! I really needed this. It's been years since I've bought vitalumieere aqua (?spelling?) And there's so many new choices! Now to decide which 1 🤔 There's probably 3 that could work for my skin. Stay healthy and safe.
This is so helpful, especially since I haven't used a Chanel foundation before. I received a sample of the Sublimage but am going hard on the new Tom Ford and Chantecaille's FutureSkin.
OMG thank you, it's taken a long time! I'm currently working with an aesthetician to perfect my routine but once I get my products down I will do a video :) xx
i use the ultra le teint foundation and i love it! it’s the only foundation that i can wear without getting too oily the only problem is the shade range
Wow I love you in the dark hair! It was my first time seeing you with it! I will only use the foundation that contains NO BHT. I am using the Ultra Le Teint.
What shade did you choose for the sixth choice. You seem to have a lot of natural red, so hard to get the right shade, I’m going to be following you for lip color. Been on Jane Iredale Fetish a decade!
Great video, thanks! My favourite is Water fresh tint and for me it is enough coverage. Lol I also have vitalumiere aqua and les beiges, but I never use them... but if I have to pick one between the two, I would go for the les beiges. I am slightly off put by having SPF in foundations though. So, perhaps the Ultra Le teint could be an option? But then, I am not a fan of full coverage foundation...
Thank you so much for doing these category reviews for Chanel makeup, especially when we can't go to the store and see and sample for ourselves. So very informative, I really love them! Do the Rosy drops added to foundation -Ultra LeTient- cause it to separate or cause wear issues or accentuate texture ( pores- aging) ? Thanks :)
Excellent review!! I agree with everything you said about these foundations and learned something new. I wear the same shades you do but didn't know that Vitalumiere (glass bottle) was more on the yellow/gold and the Les Beiges was more pinky. I actually LOVE the shade in the glass bottle but didn't know why it was different. Now I know!! Thanks :)
Hello! The Chanel tinted moisturizer doesn’t cover my redness. I ordered Aqua Vitalumiere now. Should I return tint or would you recommend using it underneath the Aqua? Thank you.
Hi Erin! Love your videos, especially your Chanel ones. I was wondering if you heard of anything about Chanel's Translucent Loose Powder? It looks like it has disappeared from all the websites and I don't have a backup! Panicking a bit inside if they're discontinuing this product.. :(
Hey Erin thank you so much for this video. It is so informative! I love Chanel make-up but l always look for your video reviews before buying any new product from it. Thank you for being such fresh air to my days of self_isolation. Love from Italy
Thank you for the video, it was wonderfully informative. I use the velvet. I would like to try something else for no makeup makeup look and something medium to full. I have combo skin leaning to normal, slightly oily. Any suggestions? Hope you are staying safe and thank you for continuing to produce content.
So if I was to purchase the vita Lumiere aqua, what would be the best shade for me?! I’m 4w in Dior ..if thAt helps!! I don’t trust the Chanel counter near me lol but I love your expertise in all things Chanel! ❤️❤️
Great video as always !🥺💚 I remember when I was starting in makeup and wore the CC cream, I wore it in my exchange trip to the UK 2 years ago. It was 37°C. I ended up walking quite a bit and a 2-3hour shopping trip. In the end as i came back i realised i was sweating the CC cream off! i didn't know at that point one could do that but it lasted SO LONG, especially considering it was just the CC cream i wore with no powder, or primer ... Since then i take great care in watching out how hot it is😂 Just a funny memory 😂💚
Hi Erin, great review! I’m in love with Chanel CC cream even though I think I chose the wrong shade (20 beige) and it’s a little light on me. Recently got the fresh tint healthy glow and OMG I use it almost every day! Love it!
Hi Arlene! Thank you for your response. Seems like I misunderstood when you said you “recently got the fresh tint glow” I thought you are using a different product besides the CC cream 😆
Maria Florencio oooh yes I’m so sorry, I have both. On a daily basis I use the cc cream and when I want a little more coverage I would use the Fresh tint healthy glow on top. The combination of those two products gives the most amazing natural look and coverage.
Someone can tell me about the chanel tinted moisturizer. Is it good for sensitive dry skin ? Do you know if there is alcohol in this product? I check the list and for me there is not but I saw some review and some peoples told there is alcohol and a lot of perfume. I have the eau de teint and Iike but I want something almost similar but a little less expensive
Do you like Chanel Sublimage or the new Tom Ford foundation better?? 😊 also, I have dry skin but I love the Velvet!! I wear it with my Soleil Tan de Chanel and no powder
love your description on each foundation. i'm struggling to pick one but it helps after watching, I have dry skin and need coverage on my pigmentation. which one would you recommend? (i like to look more natural to brightening). thank you so much
I have 3 sun spots and they were well covered by Ultra Le Teint. It is a highly pigmented foundation, but I use it sparingly. I do not find it drying, although I always wear a good moisturizer. Please bear in mind it oxidizes and the B shades are quite orange. I am a MAC NC20, I first bought B30, it was too dark and orange, but the BD21 is very good.
Thank you for this :) I was wondering what you would be recommending between the new Tom Ford shade and illuminate foundation vs Chanel illuminaire Aqua as the first foundation?:) or would you recommend both of these? I have combination skin ;)
How about the Le Tient Ultra Tenue (Ultrawear) Flawless Compact Foundation, i.e. the powder foundation? Do you like that one? (I've just received mine, but haven't tried it yet!)
I'm in my 60s with still somewhat oily skin. Still looking for a foundation that doesn't make my face shiny or emphasize the lines. My biggest question is who on earth can afford these prices? $50 for a small bottle, never mind $135 for a small jar?! Good grief...

Thank you! I'm slowly starting to transition back to dark hair :) xx
Same
Both looks are good on you! Dark hair or light.. both are pretty
See I was just noticing how masterful the highlights and color are now. Wow, kudos to your colorist

Wow, this video was honestly so helpful! Thank you for this comprehensive overview of the Chanel foundation line.
Every fondation are beautyful. my favorite is Vitalumiere Aqua beige rose 🏵
Vitalumiere Aqua is the most amazing foundation like no other. It feels so fresh and lightweight and dewy and makes the skin looks so healthy!!! I love it!

Very helpful and informative💋. Always a personal choice, but you look super with the dark hair💃
I love the Velvet foundation-- my Holy Grail foundation for sure!
This video is so helpful!!!!I need to check if the shades are correct for me , but you gave so many informations 🙏Thank you💜
Loved your review. I’ve been using Chanel foundation only and have seen the changes they’ve made over the years. Nothing to complain about all good improvements. I watched your video for the cc cream review. Honestly think it would be a great addition for summer. Thank you😊 💕

...a disastrous week in the world but a beautiful week of your videos on YT, thank you so much for all the hard work you do🌷
Sublimage will probably be forever my favorite foundation, it’s like a “red carpet” complexion product- whenever I need to look my best or when my skin is not feeling well, this will work 💯

That pink earings :D soo pretty
This was wonderful, thank you. Liked hearing the facts regarding each foundation, & the descriptions, but also your own personal experience with the ones you wear.
Le beiges water fresh tint is my favourite but was keen to try something else too. Thanks for this!
New Subbie! You are so good at reviews, I really appreciate the breakdown and showing us the foundation on your face with no other make up to distract us, also your voice is so pleasant. Great job, Thank you 👌🏼✨
The CC cream color is the best for you! Very pretty......I’m more of a BB cream person...but maybe I should try the CC but go lightly?
Hi Erin I am still loving the water fresh tint and the CC cream! ❤️ You look fabulous no matter what color your hair is.
Which one would you say is more dewy? The water fresh tint or the moisturizing tint? I can’t decide between the two! Thanks for the review!
Ooh that's a good question! The water fresh tint is more dewy at first but I think throughout the day the moisturizing tint remains dewy. Erin, your skin is so beautiful! Honestly all the foundations look good bc your skin is so glowy and smooth. What is your skincare routine? Plz share
OMG thank you, it's taken a long time! I'm currently working with an aesthetician to perfect my routine but once I get my products down I will do a video :) xx
Erin Nicole TV looking forward to it!
I just replaced my Water Fresh Tient for summer. My skin loves it.
i use the ultra le teint foundation and i love it! it’s the only foundation that i can wear without getting too oily the only problem is the shade range
Wow this was crazy-helpful! Thank you!!
Thank You Erin,. A great video. You are so beautiful wit dark or light hair. Just beautiful.
Love the video and that you showed them on your skin so helpful! My favorites are Sublimage and the Lumiere Velvet in the black container
I've only just discovered you and oh my god you're so pretty and so sweet! I could listen to you all day!
I really appreciate the information you shared.
Fantastic video!
Wow I love you in the dark hair! It was my first time seeing you with it! I will only use the foundation that contains NO BHT. I am using the Ultra Le Teint.
This was so helpful. You have such a great overview of the foundations. I had forgotten how much I loved Vitalumiere Aqua! X
I love all Chanel foundations
hi beauty, so helpful vidio, Water fresh tint is recommended for oily skin? tanks!!! xx
What shade did you choose for the sixth choice. You seem to have a lot of natural red, so hard to get the right shade, I’m going to be following you for lip color. Been on Jane Iredale Fetish a decade!

I love my ultra le teint foundation and powder.
It is very helpful. Thanks for sharing this informative video. This made me decide which foundation I should go for. 😍
Thanks :)

Thanks for a great work! ❤️ Very informative, detailed and useful video 😘😘😘
Great review!♥️ Still holding onto my Lift Lumiere! One of the best foundations even though it aims for more mature skin type.
I found this video very, very, helpful. Thank you so much!
Hello! The Chanel tinted moisturizer doesn’t cover my redness. I ordered Aqua Vitalumiere now. Should I return tint or would you recommend using it underneath the Aqua? Thank you.
Thank you for this video it really helped me choose the perfect foundation to try. I hope it works out for me! Thank you again
Tx a lot Erin this video was so helpful .. I really liked the first 4 foundation so natural .. Love from New Zealand 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

You are on a roll!🥰
What eyeshadow are you wearing? It wasn’t clear in the description box.
How long wearing is the sublimage? Will it last 12 hours? How does it compare to La Mer?
Thank you for the video, it was wonderfully informative. I use the velvet. I would like to try something else for no makeup makeup look and something medium to full. I have combo skin leaning to normal, slightly oily. Any suggestions? Hope you are staying safe and thank you for continuing to produce content.
So if I was to purchase the vita Lumiere aqua, what would be the best shade for me?! I’m 4w in Dior ..if thAt helps!! I don’t trust the Chanel counter near me lol but I love your expertise in all things Chanel! ❤️❤️
Chanel needs to work on making shades for people of color
Love the lip color 😍
For me the best one is Chanel velvet
I've wondered about the Les Beige water based foundation. Thanks gobs.!!
Great video as always !🥺💚
I remember when I was starting in makeup and wore the CC cream, I wore it in my exchange trip to the UK 2 years ago.
Which is better lurra marcier flawless lumiere radiance perfecting foundation or chanel les beiges water fresh tint?
Hi Erin, great review! I’m in love with Chanel CC cream even though I think I chose the wrong shade (20 beige) and it’s a little light on me. Recently got the fresh tint healthy glow and OMG I use it almost every day! Love it!
Which one is it? I use CC cream too but I would like to use a different one for winter.
Maria Florencio Hi Maria, I use Chanel CC Cream in beige 30. It has SPF 50 and gives a lot of coverage.
@@arleneolivier1244 Thank you for this!! I very much appreciate knowing things like this!
Ultra Le Teint Velvet is pretty on you also....
Hello beauty, is cc cream enough protection against sunlight?
Thx so much❤i love this
Someone can tell me about the chanel tinted moisturizer.
I wear it with my Soleil Tan de Chanel and no powder
what foundation would be best for me? I am golden olive skin type. & I would like one to leave me looking glowing but with medium or light coverage.
love your description on each foundation. i'm struggling to pick one but it helps after watching, I have dry skin and need coverage on my pigmentation. which one would you recommend? (i like to look more natural to brightening). thank you so much
I have 3 sun spots and they were well covered by Ultra Le Teint. It is a highly pigmented foundation, but I use it sparingly. I do not find it drying, although I always wear a good moisturizer. Please bear in mind it oxidizes and the B shades are quite orange. I am a MAC NC20, I first bought B30, it was too dark and orange, but the BD21 is very good.
@@ChrissieSM appreciated, Thank you!
I absolutely love the vitalumiere aqua. And yeah it became thicker
My lovely foundation is Chanel velvet
That's a beautiful foundation! xx
Do you choose these foundations based on the fact you wear tan?
Thank you for this :) I was wondering what you would be recommending between the new Tom Ford shade and illuminate foundation vs Chanel illuminaire Aqua as the first foundation?:) or would you recommend both of these? I have combination skin ;)
In the CC cream, what color did you use?
you remind me of reese witherspoon❤️
How about the Le Tient Ultra Tenue (Ultrawear) Flawless Compact Foundation, i.e. the powder foundation? Do you like that one? (I've just received mine, but haven't tried it yet!)
Do they all have smells? If so what do they smell like?
I’m having dry and acne prone skin. Looking for a light coverage foundation. Can someone help me? Maybe the moisturizing tint (SPF 50)?
What brush did you use for the water tint? You didnt write it
I love Sublimage I’m going to check out the Les beige sheer glow when it’s good to go out again thank you
I'm in my 60s with still somewhat oily skin. Still looking for a foundation that doesn't make my face shiny or emphasize the lines. My biggest question is who on earth can afford these prices? $50 for a small bottle, never mind $135 for a small jar?! Good grief...
