Man I can't believe I did not know that fact and that yeah Scott from Family Guy play Pinocchio here man how far he has grown from a child actor to a household name and animation and live action
The Emperor of the Night SHOULD be a boss in a Kirby game. He gave me a vibe of a cross between Nightmare and Dark Matter. I kept looking at him and going "where would he better be suited" and a Kirby game would be the perfect fit for him given the dark ethereal being deal with Kirby games.
1:45 I can't believe you talked about Filmation without mentioning the ONE thing they're actually remembered for! Out of all the stuff that they made about the only thing anybody ever really remembers them for (positively) is He-Man! Over 20 years of TV programming and they're pretty much only remember because of ONE SHOW!! XD
The emperor of the night. *heavy breathing* You're in my domain now. *heavy breathing* Pinocchio: No. That's not true! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! NOOOOOOOO!! NO! NO!!
Good review, Man. You know I'm surprise that this crazy bizarre movie didn’t have it own follow up sequel movie. Like new adventure of Pinocchio, Twinkle, and Gee willikers.
*Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night - AniMat’s Classic Reviews predictions* *Alternate title* Pinocchio and the Disney Version’s Villains in One | Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night review *Release* Late 2031 *Score* Just because it’s known for being frightful doesn’t mean it’s good *Score* Story: 2 Animation: 6 (on the topic of the other sequel to a Disney movie by a different animation studio than Walt Disney Animation Studios (Filmation), Happily Ever After was just lucky it’s animation even got a higher score because it’s actually pretty cheap albeit not as much as the film itself) Characters: 2 Songs: 2 *3/10 (anytime I make a list of “Top 10 Strongest/Weakest Animation Studios”, the least Filmation would be is a dishonourable mention because outside of He-Man and Fat Albert (disregarding Bill Cosby’s true colours), I don’t know what else there is to say about besides it being an early (and I mean *very* early by recent standards) example of mockbusters of popular movies)*
This is what is like of Pinocchio became a real human boy from being a wooden puppet marionette And he made mistakes again since his previous adventures after he came to life, know how kids as him are like hard to deal with it.
The Emperor is essentially Giygas with a dash of Satan. He’s at least 99% hot gas. I can’t get over the stereotypical British accents of both Grumblebee and Puppetino. Oi! Did they have a loicense to use a possible stereotype?!
Geez this version is more creepy than Disney's Pinocchio! You got the hero's weird faces, the creepy Puppetino and the scary Nightmare King O-O Thoses things are more terryifying than being turned into a Donkey. I wonder if Puppetino will be affraid of the Coachmen; both are soooo disturbing and crazy. So... the blue Fairy didn't warned Pinocchio about the Nightmare king? Wow she's so selfish! Also, she could help him when Pupettino capture the boy but i guess she was taking a nap or something. This character is a villain, she acts more like one than an ally.
Even though the animation in this movie is noticeably better than the animation in Happily Ever After. Give Happily Ever After credit, atleast that film was trying to be separate from the original snow white film with a different story and different villain This film just feels like the filmmakers didn't even know what they wanted to do with the story. So they decided to literally use the exact same story from the original (with the exception of the villain). i haven't seen the film yet, but from the clips that were shown in this video. it is noticeable that they just rehashed the story from the original
The one question I never knew or got an answer the phone is that what happened to all the kids in the neon Cabaret sequence as just as soon as Pinocchio was falling under the spell of the clear drink it went all trippy and they were never seen again either it was not real and it was just a way for Pinocchio to fall into more of the Emperors hold or they were past victims of the emperor of the night and they made deals with them in exchange for having fun with no limitations and that they were forever enslaved by him
I should probably be a bit honest here: The reason the movie spent 10 whole minutes at a bug community is because.....that pointless sequence was actually an attempt at a pilot for a Filmation Spinoff series! Needless to say, Bugzburg never really got off the ground...
Considering Filmations movies I have to say Pinocchio and the emperor of the night is the best one of the three even though it's not saying much I did like James Earl Jones playing the villain and that well it's not a sequel to the original 1940 Pinocchio it's basically its own thing but putting in elements from the movie and yet a bit more for the books because the Blue Fairy is more like what the books describe to us the lady with turquoise hair and much like a kid Pinocchio still acts like one even though he was supposed to have learned his lesson in the beginning and yeah that puppet turning sequence was truly terrifying I have to say on par with the 1940 Pinocchio movie with the turning into donkey sequence plus it's clearly obvious that what they're drinking in that neon Cabaret scene was definitely not a child's drink and I did like the dancing sequence but I wonder who was the inspiration for the dancing Star Girls
Joshua Orro also about AniMat's review of Cloudy 2, I would suggest Issac to look at Matthew Brewnie's review of the second film of Cloudy and how he'll say about it too.
You,Nostalgic Critic and Bobsheaux are all great at reviewing movies. When it comes to other movie, video game,tv show critics and their stuff well it depends. Top lists and other things on UA-cam that too depends.
Media Hunter, you should team up with the Final Fantasy fan community out there to make a fan-made Final Fantasy video game spin-off, and tell Square Enix themselves about it so that way you won't run into a C&D problem, call Knight Legends Omega: A Final Fantasy Spin-Off and be SO much fun and epic, it might even create a unbelievably enjoyable and overall incredibly complex Final Fantasy fan-made video game spin-off franchise to ever existence, period!
Hey! Me and my sister grown to love you. Glad I found you again! I believe I found you from your meet the feebels review or food fight because I look for food fights reviews. Anyway I got and show for you! SPACE CATS! It's A fun dumb 90s cartoon made by the ppl who made ALF I believe. We're cat ppl too!!
FYI it came on at 6am for me. So I had to get up that early to watch. But I like cats and I liked it. We have 3 cats and some strays that we fixed and live in our BY
To be fair, I think Puppetino’s lips were meant to be unsettling. That being said, though, a bunch of the facial expressions are unsettling, especially those bizarre Pinocchio facial expressions.
Adam Lamb I....I don’t know if that would count towards his theme. Scowl and Batso are in the movie, but they don’t have thst prominent a role (aside from that...one....song).
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: I'm sorry fairy godmother I wasn't telling the truth Pinocchio from Pinocchio and the Emperor of the night.
Fun Fact:
Pinocchio in this movie is played by Scott Grimes. You should know him as Steve Smith from American Dad and Gordon from The Orville
Man I can't believe I did not know that fact and that yeah Scott from Family Guy play Pinocchio here man how far he has grown from a child actor to a household name and animation and live action

K. J. VernFeathers or Klonoa villain.
Or even NiGHTS
Kinda looks like something that would fit I don’t know maybe in Kingdom hearts or kid Icarus
The Emperor looked like he fused his body with Giygas
Tom Jackson and that he also looks like Nightmare Wizard + Wizman too...

@Katie Lewis I know right! XD
I mostly know Filmation for Fat Albert but yes He-Man too.
The emperor of the night. *heavy breathing* You're in my domain now. *heavy breathing*

Maybe because nobody else but the curious actually watched it?

Story: 2
Animation: 6 (on the topic of the other sequel to a Disney movie by a different animation studio than Walt Disney Animation Studios (Filmation), Happily Ever After was just lucky it’s animation even got a higher score because it’s actually pretty cheap albeit not as much as the film itself)

I’ve said it before and I will say it again: James Earl Jones is amazing and the Emperor of the Night is such a cool looking villain!!!
I love Pinocchio's reaction animation 8:44
Huh...I kinda like the design of the Emperor.
I liked the songs. Shame there's no official soundtrack to find online.
The Emperor at the beginning: Epic Giygas demon.
The Emperor at the end: "NOT INTO THE PIT! IT BURNS!!!"
6:48 Hugh Jackman's singing performance in The Greatest Showman in a nutshell
Oh~ I grew up with this movie!
Even though the animation in this movie is noticeably better than the animation in Happily Ever After. Give Happily Ever After credit, atleast that film was trying to be separate from the original snow white film with a different story and different villain

Grumblebee would later grow to human size and fight the Power Rangers.
Actually, that was his drunken brother. Grumblebee Sr. became a lawyer.
Alternate ending. Pinocchio avoids the carnival, delivers the jewl box to the mayor goes home and this horrible sequel doesn't happen.
who wants to see Hewy Toonmore review Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night next someday?!
You forgot to mention the Emperor of the Night was voiced by the legendary James Earl Jones, DARTH VADER HIMSELF!
FilmGeekofDoom He mentioned James Earl Jones.
Is the emperor's domain in the darkest part of the galaxy? Pinocchio will also have to fight him with his lightsaber nose.
Don't forget Mufasa.
Anytime Puppetino speaks, it reminds me of Uncle Chuck from Sonic SATAM.

I heard him say Basket
sounds like Cloudy 2 is next ..... hopefully wont be as harsh as Animat's
Joshua Orro also about AniMat's review of Cloudy 2, I would suggest Issac to look at Matthew Brewnie's review of the second film of Cloudy and how he'll say about it too.
There should be crossover fanart between Steve and Pinocchio lol
You,Nostalgic Critic and Bobsheaux are all great at reviewing movies. When it comes to other movie, video game,tv show critics and their stuff well it depends. Top lists and other things on UA-cam that too depends.
Katie Lewis still though,NC is a decent reviewer (even though it was messed up)
Nostalgia critic? Nah
Can you please do a review of An American Tail and/or Lapitch the Little Shoemaker?

Dude its not a glow worm its a cricket!
John Orellana No Willikers is a glow bug.
Danielle Dewitt Glow worm, glow bug, same thing? Like torch and flashlight. American English and Brit English differences XD
Can you do Dino King?
Think you could review snow white's happily ever after?
Adam Lamb I....I don’t know if that would count towards his theme. Scowl and Batso are in the movie, but they don’t have thst prominent a role (aside from that...one....song).
Ah this movie. I own it😅
Why is Twinkle so Meh looking if she’s supposed to be “the world’s most beautiful puppet?”
I love yow
I like this wonderful movie
Who are those 2 UA-camrs you're crossing over sometime?
Also, fun fact. This film is a follow up to Disneys 1940 version of Pinocchio.
@@TheOswards306 No it's A follow up to The Book

This film did got a comic adaptation from marvel comics.
I think he's cute 8:46😄
