YES! The brighter yellow with white cornerstones will be great.
I currently quite like that combo!
I agree
The mini sewing machine quilt would be great to do up as a pattern! It would be an awesome wall hanging in a sewing room. Thanks for the trunk show of tops - you have inspired me to get out my tops and get them quilted. As for the Dresden quilt plan, I love the yellow as sashing. The white corner stones would be fine, but I might consider a red to echo the red polka dot fabric. Very bright and happy!!
I think maybe black or just a deeper Turquoise color around the sewing machine as an outline, or as a shadow around & behind the sewing machine. All I saw was flowers, until you pointed out that it was a sewing machine...
Thank you for letting me know you'd be interested in a pattern for that one!
Yes bring back the sewing machine min pattern please!! It’s adorable. Also I love the bright sashing with the Dresden block. It’s going to be beautiful!!
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
The yellow you chose is perfect❤
I love that pop of color and the white is totally the best finish for the corner stones.
Totally happy quilt.
I love that happy yellow!
Please remake the sewing machine mini again! It's adorable!
I might need too!...thanks for letting me know you'd be interested!
The brighter yellow really makes the blocks pop! And please recreate the mini sewing machine quilt; love that!!!!!
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
The bright yellow is adorable! It matches the other yellow in the block so well and the white cornerstones help tone it down just a little
That was my thinking too. =)
The last one you showed I would love a pattern. They are all beautiful!!! I make mostly donation quilts, and I probably have 7-10 ready to quilt, which I do myself on a domestic machine. Thank you for weekly news and eye candy!!!
Thank you for letting me know you'd be interested in a pattern for that quilt! And way to go on quilting your tops yourself on your domestic machine. The largest I've machine quilted is about 60" square...that was a job! =)
I would love this pattern to do "I Spy" quilt
@@stephaniemcinturff4955 It'd be fun for that!
Me too!
I’d like to have a pattern for the sewing machine mini!
What a happy accident to find things that were unknowingly lost!! They're all beautiful. Love your weekly videos. What a shot of sunshine each Saturday morning 🩷
It was a happy accident!...it was fun to go through and be reminded of them. And I enjoyed sharing them with everyone here. =)
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the tulip quilt! I sometimes forget some of these fun patterns. Thanks for the friendly reminder!
It's such a springy one!
I love the brighter true yellow for the sashing and I would adore making the sewing machine quilt for my sewing room
Thank you for letting me know you'd be interested in the sewing machine pattern. =)
Your quilts tops are so gorgeous! I have several that are waiting to be quilted. My problem is that having someone else quilt them costs more than I can afford. So they wait until I can get to them. I tend to put that off because I'm never too happy with my machine quilting. So I'll just keep accumulating them. 🙂
The more machine quilting you do, the more your skills will improve. =) It's a learned skill for sure!
In December of 2023, I decided to that I needed to longarm a few of my finished quilt tops. In the following month time, I quilted 4 tops -- lucky me, I have my own longarm machine. In the meantime, I have completed 5 quilt tops that I need to quilt. I have 3 projects in process, but it is always so tempting to start something new. As a retired person, sewing and quilting has become my ministry to others. God gives me joy in all of it.
Oh how wonderful!
Corey. Thank you! I like the bright yellow and white fabric combination with your Dresden blocks. The combination would be be very bright and happy. :-D
It does make for a happy quilt!
The deep yellow is lovely but the Dresden blocks are so much brighter that the bright yellow with sharp white corner stones are absolutely the best.
I agree. =)
Yes to the hashtag pattern! What a clever quick and fun design. 😁
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
I like the yellow sashing for the dresden
I'm still liking that bright yellow too. =)
I love the bright yellow and always love the cornerstones. I think the white will be great, but I would love it in the white with the red polka-dots as the cornerstones to tie in the background fabric. ❤
I like the brighter yellow with the Dresden blocks, it is a clearer yellow and to me coordinates better. YES! To the Sewing Machine quilt pattern It is very cute. And to the one with the Moda Linen with possible size variations and the last one with the Wintery Cardinals would be great revamping the patterns. Both of these have so many possibilities. I enjoyed seeing the quilts you have made. Thanks for sharing.
I think so too on the yellow shade Pam...the brighter just goes better.
And thank you for letting me know you'd be interested in patterns for those other quilts!
I love the yellow and white together. Definitely interested in patterns for the sewing machine and rectangle quilt. So pretty!
Thanks for letting me know about those two patterns!
Love, love, love the bright yellow for the Dresden! So fun to see your WIPs - and get the motivation to tackle my own. Love the Kate & Birdie quilt - please give us that pattern again :) Happy Saturday!
Happy Saturday to you as well! I still quite like that bright yellow for the Dresdens..it's such a happy combo. =)
I like the yellow it brings out the yellow in the Dresden.
I'm really enjoying the yllow!
The yellow sashing is spot on. I have at least 10 tops to quilt. I do not enjoy the finishing process so they pile up. I only send out the queen sized tops. God bless.
It seems to be easier to get them to quilt top format but then getting them to finished quilts takes a bit more time, doesn't it!
These are all beautiful! I would love the patterns for any and all of your quilts! I have a group coming in the mail on Monday!!! Happy mail day Monday! Thanks for always sharing Corey!
I hope you love the patterns when they arrive...happy mail day!
Corey, the mini sewing machine quilt would be great for a pattern. I think you should show it now and then unpick the machine centre block and put in a higher contrast option and use this as a lesson for us on contrast and color!
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
I love your choice of yellow stashing and white cornerstones. Bright Sunny day quilt without bugging out your eyes!
It's a very happy quilt!
I like the brighter yellow but for corner stones I like the color of the dots on your background.
The dots in the background are actually almost a hot pink/magenta color...I don't know how well the camera picks up on that! And the dot in the center of the Dresdens is red.
I think the yellow sashing on your dresdens will look great.
Oh good!...I'm glad it's not showing as too "highlightery" in the video. =) It's bright and happy!
The white cornerstone is perfect with the yellow!
It simmers down that brighter yellow a bit, doesn't it. =)
Love the last quilt. A pattern for that one would be great. Thanks for sharing your stash with us. Beautiful!!
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
The brighter yellow certainly lends to the old fashion look of the quilt! 😊
I think so too. =)
Yes the brighter yellow for your Dresden, your cornerstone could be the white dot😊
That's what I was thinking!
I really like the bright yellow with cornerstones so pretty...
I quite like that combo too. =)
Love the buttery yellow and white cornerstones for your Dresdens. And that little sewing machine quilt top is adorable.
Thank you so much!
I love the yellow with the white corner stones. I agree with you. It’ll be a fun looking quilt. Very cheerful! The white is also a good option. 💛💛💛💛💛
It'll be a happy one!
I love the yellow sashing, it brings out the yellow in your blocks! I think a red cornerstone would work also. Love your blocks
I like that bright sashing!
Love the 2nd yellow with white cornerstone
I am definitely a yellow person, so I LLOVE your bright yellow! I think my cornerstones would be either a red floral, or a red polka dot, but I've been accused of making quilts that can be seen from the air! Just have fun.....
I love a good yellow! =)
I always say, “it’s YOUR quilt…make it and finish it the way YOU want”. And by the way I love both of those yellows.
Really enjoyed this video. It’s always refreshing to find out a celebrity Quilter and designer is like me 😉 with tops I’ve forgotten about and UFOs spilling out of cupboards.
Oh my goodness Debbie...so many unfinished quilt tops! I am doing good this year about getting them finished but they seem to keep popping up. =)
Your idea for the Dresden’s is going to be so pretty. Can’t wait to see it when it’s done. ❤
I can't wait to finish it!
You've chosen the right yellow for the dresden sashing. That will look great!
Such a fun video. I could watch you show your quilt tops all day. That sewing machine pattern would be so fun to do. After I finish my Medley quilt, I'm hoping there will be enough Sugarcreek fabric leftover for that sweet sewing machine.
It was fun going through these tops and showing them!
I love the last quilt you showed with the cardinals and would love the pattern. I think that pattern would work in so many fabric options.
Would love that pattern also
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
Love the brighter yellow.
I like that shade too!
I loved seeing all your quilt tops! I’d love a pattern for the last quilt you showed. Your Dresden blocks are fantastic! Your choice of the bright yellow is spot on, can’t wait to see it finished. I’m sad to hear people give you grief if they can’t get a pattern. Thank you for all you do for the quilting community.
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
It happens =) but I understand! I know that if I share a quilt that doesn't have a pattern or fabrics that are out of print that some people won't be as happy. It is nicer when I can send people right to the pattern or let them know the fabrics are currently in quilt shops!
Oh my gosh, I am in love with that tulip quilt. OH MY.
Isn't that a springy quilt!
I love the mini sewing machine block!
Thank you!
Yes, the bright yellow is awesome!
I quite like it!
I love the bright yellow with the white dot cornerstones. The tulip quilt top is so awesome! It kind of has a vintage feel even tho the colors are super bright! Thanks for sharing your quilt finds!
It was fun to share them with all of you. =)
Hey Coriander quilts all you do is awesome
I love finding “completed” quilt tops 😊 have a blessed week thanks for always sharing
Thank you so much Ann!
Oh I love the white cornerstones on the yellow!! so pretty!! The white adds a light weight airy feel to the brightness!! like a nice clean breeze on a warm, sunny happy day! It’s perfect!!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for sharing your quilt tops. I don’t have much storage space so I have to make myself finish a project and get it quilted. Usually I don’t have more than 3 in progress at one time. I love the yellow you picked for your Dresden’s. It is bright and happy. Happy quilting!
That's such a smart way to approach quilt making. It keeps them from getting too backed up!
I love that brighter yellow! Such a happy color.
I like that brighter yellow too. =)
I think so too. =)
YES, on the mini sewing machine and spools pattern!!!❤❤
I really like the yellow for your sashing!!
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
Corey, thank you for sharing your quilts with us. I do like the brighter yellow for sashing your Dresden quilt. I can tell your color palette is much like mine, bright and cheery. Of course I love the 2 quilts with no pattern 🥰 I like the nested rectangles and the framed squares. Both designs would be good to show prints that are a larger scale. I would suggest sending the sweet little sewing machine quilt along to the quilter as well. Like you say it’s easy to do yourself, but if you’re like me, I never seem to get around to it. Then your whole pile will be done. Yay!
I do love a sunshine-y palette! I think you are quite right in the possibility of that little mini quilt not getting finished...I might just need to do that. =)
Yes, the second yellow. Perfect!!👍
I think so too. =)
I like the skinny yellow with white cornerstone
I think the brighter yellow color with the white cornerstones would be perfect….I am a yellow lover. Also, I would enjoy the pattern for the last quilt you showed…it would work for my 3 sons. If the one with the sewing machine could be written up as a throw, that would be a lot of fun. Thanks for the quilt parade. I have 4 large quilts that need to be quilted, 1 small. I just got around to making the squares for the Spring Brook quilt kit purchased at the Fat Quarter Shop for my best friend. She needed some cheering up as her sister has brain cancer. She had fun helping me pick the combination of colors for the blocks…now she is deciding the block placement that is pleasing to her. I have several quilt kits that need to be pieced as well. I plan on powering through them as quickly as I can.
I am such a yellow fan as well. =) It sounds like you have some wonderful projects you are working on...that's so thoughtful of you to bring some cheer to your best friend!
The bright yellow with white cornerstones is PERFECT! Good choice!
Yes!!! The bright yellow sashing. I think a pink the same as the dots would be a great corner stone.
Love the brighter yellow! It really pulls the yellow out of your dresdens!! You've inspired me to go pull out all of my quilt tops and make a plan to get them quilted up or at least see what I have!!
It's always fun to get the projects finished up. =)
Yes, please bring back the sewing machine wall hanging. It is so cute!
Thank you for letting me know you'd like a pattern for that one!
Thank you for sharing for all your quilts, lost and found ones etc…. I love your plan for your Dresden quilt. I think the yellow will be so bright and cheery. Yes, I would love a pattern for the sewing machine wall hanging. So so cute!
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
I think the yellow and the white will look beautiful.😊💛
I bet I have about 18 tops to be quilted!!!❤❤❤❤ I am more of a peacier person. My mom always hand quilted but she is now in heaven. I did purchase a used Gammill and currently learning how to free motion. I do not have a statler so it is what I can learn. But I’m having fun. Thank you for sharing these makes me want to go get mine out. Have a great weekend.
They add up, don't they! You have a great weekend too!
Hi Cori, I like the bright yellow with the white corner stones, very pretty. I think it's so very nice of you to donate your quilts, I'm sure whoever gets them will appreciate them very much. Thanks for sharing.
This was a fun video to share!
Like the bright yellow with white cornerstone.
I do too!
Love the yellow sashing with white cornerstones! We all forget, yours was a little treasure of quilts someone will be blessed to receive. I went to Tucson for the winter. When I got back home a couple of days ago I laid out the blocks I had been working on and discovered I had finished all the blocks and sewn two rows!! I have no memory of completing all the blocks 😂 Oh happy days 🎉
What a great discovery!....that quilt top is closer to being finished than you thought!
I almost skipped thru the Dresden plate b/c it's too old fashioned, but yours look like little houses and I love it! I agree, the brighter yellow w/ the white cornerstone would be my fave.
Dresdens look so different depending on the fabrics used and I always think the ones with smaller centers tend to look more traditional as well.
The yellow solid with white cornerstones will look lovely. Can’t wait to see the finished quilt. This was a fun video. Thank you!
You are so welcome!...thanks so much for watching!
Would love to have little sewing machine quilt❤️❤️❤️. Also think the yellow would look fantastic
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
I am sew loving the brighter, more traditional yellow with white cornerstones!
I think it's a fun option!
Thank you for sharing, nice to know I'm not alone in "needing" to get things finished !! The Mini Sewing Machine is great...Love the button border....if you get the pattern together would love to have it.
and I agree the yellow with white corner stones would be lovely.
There are always those projects that it would be nice to finish up, aren't there!
I love the bright yellow! I like that idea with the white corner stone much better. Go with it!!! The sewing machine is adorable. An idea for it to stand out, you could big stitch hand quilt around it in a thread to make it stand out more.
Good too know!...I know there were quite a few that weren't fans of the white dot for the sashing!
I also like that crisp yellow for sashing and white cornerstones. I think it's the perfect combo with the polka dot background and the colorful dresden petals!
I think so too!
I love the yellow! Thanks for showing what is in your cupboard!
I love the brighter yellow for the sashing! It compliments the colors within the Dresdens so well!
I think so too!
Like the yellow much better than white shashing, multicolored cornerstones matching the dresdans would be pretty and keep with the bright and happy fabrics. Excited to see it come together.
It'll be fun to finish up!
The brighter yellow is great!!! It pops the Dresdens!
Yes..brighter yellow is perfect. The dresdens are happy sunny colors..that yellow just adds to brightness
It makes for such a happy quilt!
Oh joy! This was fun to see all of your quilts. And so, the bright & cheerful yellow reminds me of your bright & cheerful personality. As for quilt patterns.. there are many sewing machine patterns, however, what I like about your pattern is that the sewing machine is surrounded by buttons which are then surrounded by spools of thread. So very clever. I would love to see it as a $5 pattern of the month. I would definitely buy it. Have a happy day.
This was such a fun video to share!...and thank you for letting me know you'd enjoy a sewing machine pattern!
The yellow that you chose compliments your Dresden blocks. Also, I like the white for the corner stones. 😊
Love the idea of the bright yellow. Thank you for sharing your past makes.
I’m kinda nervous to count up my finished quilt tops waiting to be quilted. Maybe someday I’ll count them. 😂
Me too!❤
Ha!...they add up, don't they. =)
Perfect! Bright yellow with white cornerstones. Love the little sewing machine quilt! Yes please, make the pattern available.
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
I agree with you! The bright yellow is perfect for the Dresden blocks. I hate to think how many quilt tops I have waiting……more than 15 I would bet, going back at least 10 years. So happy to find your video this morning when I opened up my ipad! Thanks for sharing your unfinished stack of quilts! Nice to know that I am not the only one that has many quilts waiting on be finished!
I will most likely always have unfinished quilt tops...although I am making a pretty good dent on them this year!
Love the yellow!
Good morning, Corey! Can't wait to see your finished dresden quilt. I like the yellow sashing, and yes, it will be a very happy quilt! I would really like to learn more about wovens, if you ever want to delve more into that subject!
Good morning Amanda! I did share a blog post a couple years ago when my Sugarcreek Wovens came out...if you want to read a bit more about my thoughts that post should come up if you search "sugarcreek wovens" on my blog and I think the blog post is called "Sewing with Wovens" if I recall correctly.
@@CorianderQuilts Great! Thanks, Corey! I will look it up!
I love the lighter yellow and cornerstone! I probably have at least 35 quilt tops but I have to quilt them…. On a domestic
That's a wonderful skill be be able to complete your quilts on your domestic sewing machine. =)
You're not alone Cory ❤. Talk about hiding projects from ourselves! 😂 Sometimes they are just waiting for us to have a plan. If you do do the sew machine again a sew and flip at the top left corner will make it look more real( I think☺️) I'm off to hunt for quilty treasures! 💖
We sure do!...luckily these were finished quilt tops and not ones I was trying to hunt down to work on. Sometimes a block or a piece of fabric becomes elusive and that's no fun! LOL
❤ ❤❤❤❤ the true yellow with white corner stones!!!!!!!
Yes!
Definitely the brighter yellow. White cornerstones will be perfect.
I think so too!
I like the yellow and white for sashing and cornerstones! It looks great with the blocks. Would love the sewing machine mini and the wintery fabric quilt brought back to life💕
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see patterns for those!
Yes, I like the yellow with the white cornerstones. It's happy spring /summery.
It makes for such a happy quilt!
You do what makes you feel good. Don't worry about what others say.
I certainly will...I think it's so interesting to hear what other quilters think!
Love the yellow sashing/border choice - looks so happy to me with the beautiful blocks! Thanks for sharing your unfinished items. I’m a newish quilter and I still have 4 or 5 or so. . .not finished but I don’t have a longer-armer yet so I’m going to “learn” to be my own quilter for now. 😁. Also, I’m always up for a new pattern if you decide to re-do some older patterns. Thanks again for your videos!
I think it's a great skill to have to be able to machine (or hand quilt) your quilt tops if you want to.
The bright yellow is perfect for the bright colors in the Dresden fabrics!
I think so too!
I really like the brighter yellow for sashing with white cornerstones. All the tops are beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Thanks for sharing your need to be quilted stash. I admit I have more than 15 tops needing attention, but enjoy making the tops. Am working on one top atm to fully finish. Wish me luck. I prefer to use a long-armer, but is not always in my budget. I loved all of your quilts you showed and being able to purchase them would be awesome. I have so much fabric and love quilting. Have a wonderful week.
Quilt tops are so fun to make but they seem to be harder to finish (at least for me!). You have a wonderful week too Jean!
I love simple quilts so the one without a pattern that was made with rectangles really appeals to me. I don’t know how to do the math on my own, so a pattern would be very helpful! Or even a video telling us how to do the math!
Thank you for letting me know you'd like to see a pattern for that one!
I love the Sunshine Yellow with the white cornerstones !! I think the brighter colors go very well with the fabrics in the dresden.
I think so too!
