I'm really struck by the image of these three men walking into eternity engaged together in deep and meaningful conversation. What a beautiful image of friendship and community and continued growth in the next life.
The Three Holy Hierarchs are the Saints that I have dedicated my chapel to, with the blessing of my spiritual father. O Holy Three Hierarchs, pray for me a sinner!!
Thank you for this great video! You gives us a chance to learn more about the Early Church! In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen!
Amazing commentary video. I am intrigued by these 3 men with also St. Athanasius and their writtings and I have often compared them to the four Great Latin Fathers.
To each their own! I was curious 😀. I drink 2 cups of black coffee daily. ☕️ ☕️ I’m from the Southern US. For some of us, when we drink tea, we put ice in it to make it cold, lemon to make it sour, and sugar to make it sweet. This is with black tea. Personally I like herbal teas. This channel has not only introduced me to the vast world of Orthodox Christianity, but also the vast world of Tea! 🫖 Thanks Patristix!
As always, it's a great video. I wounder as I took St. Basil, as my name when entering the Orthodox church, do I get 2 name days 😊. However, I can not agree with you tea and milk.. nothing mre refreshing than good black tea, made properly and kept far away from milk.
That's fair enough... A good cup of black tea with nothing in it is sometimes exactly what's needed. Our East European friends can't imagine a good tea with milk, & English friends can't imagine a good one without it!
@Patristix As a good eastend boy, I was taught by my Irish Great granny. Tea must have a spoon that stood up in it and at least 6 spoons of sugar. But never milk like my English grandmother. Also, tea on Sunday was with a drop of gin added, followed by milkstout. ☕️ .

Beautifully put! Thank you!
My parish doesn't have a service for them so i was planning to go to the Greek church. After hearing this story I'm glad there is a liturgy to go to.
They are well worth remembering!
Thank you so very much. What a blessing.

Do you ever drink coffee?
heresy
@teffillername3374 🤣
Not a huge fan of coffee! Not entirely against it, but on this show, we've definitely created a tea-only custom.
