Cheese Cupcake my mom did this to me when I was young 😂 I had a black kitten and when I left to my dads for a week, a dog had gotten ahold of it, and my mom didn’t know what to do so she got a black kitten identical to the one I had, and replaced it lol she knew how much I loved that kitten and didn’t wanna break my heart by telling me it was killed by a dog lol she told me few years ago and I wasn’t that upset because in the end she was protecting my feelings from getting hurt , n if she hadn’t done that I’d probably be a wreck back then 😶

oh your ignorance. let’s start with the tank, they need a 100ish ltr tank, a filter, decorations, water treated with dechlorinator, algae guard, green water control and filter aid. they need a heater, water test strips, lights, 20% water change weekly including time for water to get to reach room temperature. i’ve owned dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish and gerbils, i have a level 3 diploma in animal management. let me tell you, the easiest to take care of are dogs, because they can communicate what they want very easily.
@@user-li2li8uy6n yeah I agree that you need more knowledge about fish (and therefore its "harder") to give it proper care, but imo dogs are more time-consuming (and I know you also need to freshen the water etc in the fish thank, but a dog needs way more attention). I just feel like when Kim said that she couldn't even care for a fish, she meant that se didn't even have time for caring for the fish... but I might be wrong (I'm no telepath)

I own a hamster myself and the top rule when getting a new hamster is that you can't hold or touch the hamster for the first few days you own it. You should try to come in contact with the hamster as less as possible other wise the hamster might panic and die. As seen in the episode , North held the hamster when she got it and gave it to kim. The bedding is too little and the cage is too small. Minimum for a hamster cage is 450 sq inches .
So we just watched fatal animal neglect and we just... are okay with it... this has me so shocked

Evil Girl a new hamster get easily stress from a lot of loud noises and a lot of playing etc. A hamster is a very antisocial creature and should have gotten time to get to know the place. It’s very weird that a new hamster just die after a month or less. My dad gave me a hamster when I was 4 which was a big mistake because I played a lot with the hamster and never let her rest. She sadly died only after 2 weeks due to being so stressed out and not having enough time to get to know the place.

People just usually don’t record it online since it’s not really a big deal and you won’t profit anything off of it. My guinea pig had two babies and despite their lifespan being 4-8 years it lived onto 9 years and 3 months. Really just depends on how well your pet can thrive and how you care for it

This was a teachable moment instead of “lying to your daughter” moment. Kim should have just told North the truth, losing a pet teaches kids from a young age to accept death as part of life in a healthy way, so they understand death and loss, and also learn how to cope with it from a young age.
Generally, Hamsters don’t have a long life span, I don’t know how much they cared for it or how long they’ve had it but nevertheless, they do have a shorter life span!!! So, unless there’s a large supply of hamsters in the US, she will have to tell her truth at some point.

It died cuz of stress. They are active at night. If she plays with it all the time during the day it dies of stress because they are supposed to be asleep in the day.
I would never have a hamster then. What's the point of having a pet if its asleep all day long and are just there asking for food and water and yet they're not giving anything back like being able to play with the pet,the company. They're like fish. Most useless pet EVER. You can not even play with it.

@@SupremeQUEEN668 usually they are inactive in the day and wake up at dusk. I used to have hamsters. Sometimes it happens that they walk around in the day. But the ones I had very only noisy at night. It's really unhealthy and stressful for them to be waken up in the daytime.

I use all my paychecks for my bills so I used the money I got for my birthday to get my hamster a 40 gallon tank, if people who struggle financially can find a way to give their hamster a proper habitat then these millionaires have no excuse.
