The City of Angels serves up a slice of heaven when Bravo Media’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns for Season 9. Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and Lisa Vanderpump are joined by new housewife Denise Richards and friend Camille Grammer for a jaw-dropping season sprinkled with exhilarating highs and shocking lows. The epitome of a working mom-perfectly blending her carefree California attitude with the glamour of a Hollywood actress-newcomer Denise uses her very direct demeanor to carve out a place amongst the opinionated group, which she finds is both a blessing and a curse.
This season, the stakes are higher than ever for each of the ladies, and while there is no shortage of laughs, they are forced to navigate a string of confrontations that could change the dynamic of the friend group forever. Following her brother’s recent passing, Lisa Vanderpump puts all her energy into her family, work demands and maintaining a positive attitude. I love how Yolanda keeps saying they’re very competitive and frames it like they’re always fighting to top the other when in reality they have always been and still are so close and so very supportive of each other, always trying to help the other and give advice. I think the reason why Yolanda favours Gigi so much is because she sees herself in Gigi the most. She's strict bcs she's been through the harsh modelling reality and wanted to teach her kids how the modelling agency is. It's toxic especially the ridiculous standards but that's the reality she lived through her experience in the modeling world. Now, they're both thriving but the modelling industry is still the same.

The diet and exercise is part of the job. Dieting and exercise is also part of being healthy and looking good. Americans preach about loving their bodies and eating whatever they want, but 40% are obese. There's something fundamentally wrong about that.

Volleyball and any sport requires you to have muscle and build an athletic frame which looks masculine on the runway. Gigi herself has even admitted she had to reshape her body to fit in the runway modeling world.

You may like that look, but that look can not survive modelling world. My brother is a professional pianist, he loves soccer, he cannot play for fear of injuries. He doesn't shake people's hands. Because there have been incidents where their hands are crushed on purpose. So if you want to be professional in anything and especially global level, something or many things gotta give.
