One note on the thumbnail. xTool is having a trade in deal where you can get 400 dollars off the S1 40 watt or 300 off the S1 20 watt if you already have an open laser. bit.ly/3vFuXlL Since it is only going till February 16th I didn't want it forever in the video.
That is an awesome idea. I like being able to make some stuff ahead of time and then not risking it messing up in the actual project that I care aboue.
I think Ortur makes good lasers and a lot of people have them. They were one of the first to really bring the cost down. In fact I think the Mecpow x3 is a cheaper copy of the 10W ortur amzn.to/497OKIR minus the cable chain, so I think the Ortur is better but basically the same. I think if you are already moving a bit nicer from the cheapest lasers. I would look at the xTool D1 Pro 10 Watt which is like 670. Way better build quality and comes with an enclosure: www.xtool.com/products/portable-diode-laserbox-d1-for-laser-engraving-laser-cutting-10w?ref=HUFffwZfrd6qWU&variant=43024250077423 . The Longer RAY5 has also been getting some love lately with its similar build quality to the Mecpow and Ortur but a really nice touch screen amzn.to/3vQmigp . Catspaw has a video comparing the laser power of those ones: ua-cam.com/video/aD-mHWlov0I/v-deo.html&ab_channel=CatspawCustoms . Hope that helps.

Thanks for the in person demo. Makes me want one even more!!😃
No problem I always like showing cool tools. It is pretty fun to use.
I think you should make some medallions with your logo on them. Something you can inlay into things you build as a signature or stamp.

Nice video, however I found no link to the exhaust adapter ?
Thanks! It’s in the build article linked in the description.
Have you happened to look at Ortur and have any pros cons if you have
