what he doesn't mention is that in the voronoi fracture's "rigid body" tag, its set to NONE under the Collision tab >individual elements. This will stop it from fracturing so you need to change it to ALL.
superrrrr tutorial.. all i wana know is can i composite this in my footage? if i change the floor meterial to concrete and do some tracking.. how do i composite the light acc. to my video scene?
I would love to see this in a composite inside live action footage with that volumetric light interacting with the environment! Have you done that? And thanks for this BTW!
I haven't tried doing that but I imagine you could recreate the scene using the motion solver and tracker and then use that to make the light rays interact with the environment. Thanks for the idea, maybe in the future :)
Hmm, maybe the light is hidden somewhere and you have to move it around. Before you add a light source in Redshift it uses the 'default light' and when you add a light, the default is turned off and if the light is hidden somewhere and can't be seen it can become black. That would be my guess :)
Very cool! Fast and informative. Please keep them going! Especially Redshift ones.
Very Cool! Thank You! Short and informative.
Love it! Short and sweet. Would love more redshift tutorials!
Good stuff my man short n sweet 👊🏾
thanks man, nice tut!
Amazing, i did it with the native render engine because i dont have redshift and couldnt find the same options on Arnold Render.
Did you manage to get the 'fog rays'?
@@Mr_Anderson_one No, i did not :C
Very nice and cool
Very cool
Please keep it up and make more videos.

Good question, that's out of my league :D
hi, on newer redshift, there is nothing called redshift light. Did you use area/infinite..etc?
How to do this in octane?
thanks :) :)

How much time will these take to render in a pc with i7 and 16gb ram but no graphic card.
I don't know. You should ask that question in the Redshift forum or Facebook group :)
But these are not too complicated, so they shouldn't take that long
i cant find redshift light then what should i use??
You can use a regular Light, but the rays won't work the same way as with Redshift
how did you get the edges of the cracks to be emissive from the beginning of the video??
Voronoi fracture - Selections - Inside faces
Then add material to the selection
Why does this not work with a cube?
hmm.. I think it should..
don't know, would need more info
WOW WOW WOW that what i call tutorial ... when i applied the redshift light it became all black ... what is wrong in your opinion ?

@@Mr_Anderson_one ill give it a check ... thank you so much ... waiting for more short and useful tuts like this one
Too fast, this is no Tutorial
I know right? Where was the 5 minutes of fluff and self promotion?
