You guys are going to love it. My sisters and I made Gatlinburg our place for vacation. Definitely go eat at mama's farmhouse, the titanic museum and if you all can, the dolly stampede. It's a lot to do there. Food is amazing and the people are so kind. I hope you all have a safe and fun trip.
I work at the island in piegon forge. You aren’t required to wear a mask there. 80% of people there don’t. Also it’s spring time so it’s super busy. Everyone on spring break.

Will have you ever done the arts and craft district in Gatlinburg? Lot of local shops. Alewife pottery is one spot that would be interesting to visit. Some times they will have bluegrass pickers outside picken.
Yes...some neat places coming, some with a unique flair, some not so much😉 HOWEVER....if it is all so overcrowded, then it becomes unsafe, and I do not know of many who like fighting super large crowds....That takes away from my enjoyment and vacation time😳 Appreciate your explaining some of the NEW, coming to the Smoky Mountains🐾🦊🐺

Do you know the name of the new Soarin’ type ride? That’s my favorite attraction at Disney and we actually cancelled our Disney trip to visit Pigeon Forge because our family loves the mountains so much. So I’d definitely love to visit this attraction if it’s up and running when we are there.

How exciting! We are actually moving to east tennessee this Fall! We are still trying to decide on a area. If you have any ideas of areas that would be great for family and nice neighborhoods i would love any suggestions 😊
Do a lot of homework!! Cleveland, TN is a great place. If you want the YITS area, Seymour is nice. Seviere County is nice, but houses are pricey, and a lot of study is important. Contact a good, experienced, or hungry realtor!! Sevierville is nice, and very spread out. Remember, Traffic is ALWAYS bad on weekends, and barely tolerable March thru December!!! Figure out if you want to live in the action, or near the action. Homes are being built everywhere! Contractors are in short supply, and very busy. The Sevierville Walmart is a bloodbath!! Do you have a career that allows you to live there? Jobs are plentiful, but most are seasonal. The schools each have their own reputation. As I began... DO A LOT OF RESEARCH!!!! Good luck in your quest. 👍
@@derekk6906 Thank you for sharing! Since we are not from there its hard to know where the good and safe areas are. We have a 15 & 13 year old and looking for good schools also. I think we may try renting first and once we are there we can search the areas.
@@Tony-5000 My husband is actually a fisherman in Alaska so it gives us the ability to live where we want. What areas would you recommend out of knoxville? We would love to have some land. We do have kids 15 & 13 looking for goods schools.
Looks like they have some really neat things coming to the area soon. Seems it changes everytime we visit. I been seeing about that drive in for a couple years and wish it would get done, would be a great experience. You guys are the best, keep it up. Very informative video!

We where there maybe 2 days before this video to feed the birds. And there’s a feed dispenser over by the mill, and the mill still sells the bird feed. But thought it meant by the picnic tables.

Another minigolf. Guy fieri the chef on tv is doing a restaurant and arcade in pigeon forge. Like it needed another arcade. Just like my city. Keep building the same stuff. Surprised there is not another candy shop. Soarin sounds like it will be cool.

We almost always see a movie at The Forge or the other movie theater at Governors Crossing. It is our rainy day activity or a late night activity.
I loved that hot air balloon, I have many pictures from on top of that baloon. I heard record crowds daily.
I will be there on Monday… My parents live there, but it’s always fun seeing the fun places you’re find!

You can do DollyWood in a day. It depends on what you want to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg maybe 2 days at the most
