You can’t beat Oreos. My favorite is the golden flavored cookies. I enjoy the blind taste tests, thanks so much. Great job, Kevin! Hoping your day is full of the things that make you happy n smile.😊😊
I think that tami mentioned in the last couple reviews that unless there was something extremely special they might not be reviewing them… they are very expensive and although good, they were going out of their way each week to get them, at times even going to two locations… when crumbl was donating the cookies for review at least it was apparent they appreciated the free advertisement and trouble tami and Kevin went to getting them (on a Monday so viewers had ample chance to try them too) then all of the sudden they stopping giving the cookies… without any legitimate reason… it wasn’t right… Tami and Kevin never complained about having to pay but did say that it was a strain on their budget…
Yup. Unless it's new or something intriguing they aren't doing them anymore. Probably a poor ROI for them. Plenty of non-reputable people doing Crumbl reviews out there still though lol
I had Oreo balls made with generic brand Oreos once and it was painfully obvious that something was off. Had a funky flavor like you mentioned. Even for recipes I'll only buy Oreo!
I’ve noticed that some brands really can’t be reproduced by others… Oreos, Doritos, Reese’s, Kraft Mac n cheese… for a few… like the generics may be good… but when you taste them next to the original… there’s no comparison… One or two of our grocery stores are based on New York (I live in Pennsylvania) they base their private label on New York cost of living which is much higher than where I’m living in Pennsylvania… consequently quite often the generics are more expensive than national brands… but in New York that wouldn’t be the case… lol
I love Orioles thay do have a similar one in asda which is ok and of course Lidl and Aldi have them as well but you can't beat the real thing great blind test x❤
So I guess what you and Kevin are saying is for this item at least accept no imitations! It seems the rich chocolate flavor of an Oreo just can't be reproduced or at least hasn't been successfully yet. Although I have heard the original cookie that battled with Oreo called Hydrox was better liked by many in its day. But I think what hurt it is its name sounds like a chemical and many people didn't want to eat that!
I hope you never get to try the Shoprite ones. I haven't had them in forever so they might have changed (they used to have the old Shoprite logo on the cookie), but when I was a kid they were godawful... Cardboard tasted better than those things. They always used to have them out for children to snack on for free, but they were so bad, nobody would take them! My mom would just buy me a bagel from the bakery to eat instead. Now THAT was better, haha!
Some off brands do rival Oreos, so I was surprised that Great Value didn’t do well. I’ve seen Oreo is coming out with Zero Sugar version. You’ll have to do a comparison video with the Zero Sugar version and the regular. Great blind taste test.
These videos are always fun! Weird thing - GV and Oreo have the same # of cookies, WD has 6 more cookies. Weirder: Oreo has the least amount of sodium (30 less than GV and 20 less than WD - that is a lot)! My guess is WD and GV are putting a lot more junk in their cookie to try to capture oreo. I don't mind store brand cookies from different places (I have lived in so many places - so many choices!) but nothing beats good ole oreos. Now that they have the mini goldens, I get the box of multi-bags of oreo minis and golden minis. HEAVEN! heheh
I wouldn't buy any of these. Even as a kid I didn't like the chocolate cookies in Oreo. Even the Girl Scout Chocolate and Vanilla Creme Cookies from the late 60's-early 70's, I preferred the Vanilla Cremes. Oreo Double-Stuffs were ok because the creme kind of over-rode the chocolate cookie. The Golden or Grahan cookies would be the only ones I would buy, but I don't give money to Oreos at all anymore.
I love these blind taste tests
Thank you ⭐️

Hi guys! I noticed you haven’t done a Crumbl review in a while. Are you not doing those anymore?
I asked this too. Super curious

I understand that. This week there was a new chocolate pretzel pie and butter cake cookie I was intrigued to see their review

Me too!
These vids are great! cause you become pleasantly surprised by how good the "cheap" ones are 😅
I agree!!
Love these blind taste videos. Interesting that the supermarket brands were near on identical and not as good as the original. Thanks for the review
Glad you like them!
yaaay a blind taste test with the oreo cookies😅 this is super interesting adding new brands with the real ones
Glad you like them!
These taste tests are the best haha
Glad you like them!
Let’s see Tami do it one time. See how she tests it
Winn Dixie is actually regarded as a cheaper grocery store in Florida. Publix is the expensive one.
Publix is definitely the most expensive.
Great review
Thank you!
The only kind of Oreo I will buy are the limited edition flavors just to try. But I don’t like them otherwise

That’s so interesting!
Hard to beat an Oreo😋

So true!

My favorite cookie is Nutrer Butter. 🤷🏻♀️ ❤️
They did a comparison video to other butter butter cookies that you might like if you missed it😁

They sound terrible!
I enjoy the taste tests. I get my Oreos on Amazon often with a 30 per cent off coupon. I think I paid around 3 dollars for a big family pack recently.
That’s great! I miss the amount of coupons I used to get.

Absolutely!
Most great value items aren’t that good in general so I’m not surprised
Zero sugar Oreos? How is that even possible???
@@emilybilbow4990 artificial sweeteners which is why I surprised it hasn’t been sooner.
Wow… can’t imagine them tasting good…

Oreo all the way!!! My dad used to buys us Hydrox when we were kids and they were awful 😞
I don’t care for Hydrox either.
@@TamiDunn Hydrox sounds like some kind of cleaner and you two are making sure I don’t ever bother to try them if I ever do see them🤪.
Ana ben bunu sandım dondurma
I would still buy the Oreo over the others. The SE brand has never impressed me.
I understand!
