When we were kids our neighbor always had store brand vanilla sandwich cream cookies and we loved them! They had to have been Kroger, Winn Dixie, or A&P brand since that was the stores around us. Haven’t had that good of one since.
Golden Oreos are my favorite w lemon next. I have had the Walmart brand and they weren’t bad. I enjoy the blind taste testing, thank you. Enjoy the cookies!😊😊
Getting spoilt with a second blind tasting video in as many days! For me it all comes to price when looking at these 3 offerings. Thanks for the review.
Interesting that your preferences were so different from the chocolate Oreo taste test! I’m a golden Oreo fan but haven’t tried the Walmart ones, so I’ll have to change that! Thank you!!
I don't give money to Oreo anymore but the golden cookie for me is Kroger's Kaleidos Vanilla Creme cookies. They taste so close to the long-gone Girl Scout vanilla cremes. Unless the Girl Scouts would bring them back with the original ingredients, I'll always choose the Kaleidos over anything else. Why take a chance on something that might suck, when I love the Kaleidos?
We buy the Harris Teeter off brand vanilla creme cookies and love them. We haven’t tried the Walmart brand. Tami since you said you trusted Walmart’s calorie count more, you were right. I did the math and the Winn Dixie and Oreo had their calories per serving at 160 calories, the actual total calories when looking at the calories per Fat, Carbs and Protein the total is 167. So Walmart with 170 calories per serving is closer. However our lovely FDA allows for a 20% margin of error on food labels. 🙄 Great review.
I'm not a fan of eating golden oreos straight (too sweet), but I don't mind them in recipes. Getting the cheap ones would be a no-brainer. But again, not the Shoprite ones.. Those were not the same as Oreo!!! Those tasted like they took all of the sugar out of them and left them in a dusty attic for a couple years.. And then out in the sun for a week.
I can now smell and taste mustiness from your description. LOL I know exactly what you are talking about. That is why my mom shopped at 3 stores - she would like some things at SR, some at A&P, some at Food Town.
@@jbjacobs9514 Haha! I swear all of their packaged cookies were like that. Which was odd, since in my opinion the rest of their store-brand items were fine... Man do I miss A&P... At least you can still buy Eight O'Clock coffee! 😁
I have no idea how Winn Dixie...aka SE Grocers stays in business. Their parking lots here in Tampa Bay are empty, the shelves are bare and their prices are 20-40% higher than Wal Mart. I'm hoping Kroger buys them out and gives Publix a run for their money.
We really like the great value ones too. But the girls prefer the chocolate ones from great value over Oreos too and I know you didn’t like them. Love the comparison videos
This time it really lines up. Unlike with regular oreos from yesterday's taste test, there is no discernable difference in sodium among the three, carbs the same, sugar the same. So, in this case, it would be price (and taste, if someone felt they had a preference). I would have to look at the ingredients harder, but you're not really eating a cookie for health reasons. The difference would be ingredients and how many you can have with based on how "bad" they are, health-wise. Thanks for another fun video!
U made me want some cookies now
I can understand that 😄
I like the lemon cream Oreos over the Golden ones 👍
The lemon are delicious!

A&P! I haven’t heard that name in a long time!
I remember when golden Oreos with chocolate crème here sold in 2014. I miss those days.

We love golden too 😃
So you could tell the difference

I know! It was surprising!
great to see the golden oreo version of the blind taste test 😅
Hope you enjoyed it!

I wonder why other brands can figure out golden Oreos but not the original 🤷
Great taste test
I know!!
Them oreo ones use to be my son's favorite when he was little mine too😋👍🏻👋

It’s shocking that they can do that.
@@TamiDunn it is!
Harris Teeter is owned by Kroger?

@@BeatlesandWebkinz I have seen that Eight O'Clock Coffee in a couple of places. It brought me back!
Great blind test thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you 🙏🏻

Love these reviews. When mint chip Oreo comes out soon I hope you do a comparison with the regular mint, I bet there is no difference in taste lol.
They did a mint chip. Wonder why they are doing it again? ua-cam.com/video/pFTl-9YduQ8/v-deo.htmlsi=Bcp_WxPr4JqzSAG7
