This takes me back. My son came home from school one day with a little creature wrapped in his shirt. It was a newborn kitty with his umbilical cord still attached. He had been born that day and mom was nowhere around. I cared for him and he became the most wonderful kitty I have ever had. Named him Lucky. He lived to be 18 years old. We formed a wonderful bond. I’ll never forget him.

She's not just a great rescuer, she's a born teacher. I love this woman's matter of fact, clear delivery about why she's doing all her treatments and how to handle the kitty's infant body. Genius comes in a lot of forms, and this is surely one.

my 9 week old kitten was sleeping on my lap till he heard the kitten on the vid and he woke up wanting to cuddle the little kitten.
he went up to the screen and was purring and rubbing against the kitten on the screen.
purring is a medicine for cats. the vibrations help cats to heal from injuries. so by rubbing and purring against another cat its helping them heal. works on some human medical probs as well.

I just rescued a little female that looks just like this. Umbilical cord still attached, waited and waited but mom never came. Following your videos has been a massive help. I'm sure she was only a day or 2 old. I've had her for 3 days now and she seems to be doing really well. Thankyou so much kitten lady, you're an absolute star.

Yes, just now watching and my female himalayan mix jumped up at the kittens cries. She didn't smell anything so she left. The only one of my cats that reacted that way.

My cat had a litter of kittens about a year ago, and almost had them on my brother's lap! The litter had four kittens, two of them stillborn, sadly. There was a living boy and girl. The girl came about a day later after the boy, along with the stillborns. The boy, his name is Pickle, was the size of a very small pickle and had a head the size of a quarter. Pepper, the girl, was much bigger at birth. We kept both of them, and Pickle is the largest cat in the house! Pepper also had a litter of 6 healthy kittens a month or two ago, and they are all pretty big cats now. There were 3 girls and 3 boys.

The person who brought the kitten in to the pet store mostly likely found the kitten, Hank's mother is mostly a feral cat who either abandon the kitten or something happened to her.

Awww! Love him! I had my first bottle feeding a baby kitten after my barn cat had 8 kittens. The tiniest all white one wasn’t getting enough so I brought her inside. She loved her milk and she ate just as well as this little guy. She ate from the bottle for a good 2 months before she started eating from the bowl of kitten food. Callie is now 18 months old and a gorgeous Siamese with a white line down the length of her nose, and the love of our lives.
Poor little Hank, she started out so rough and survived a lot. She's tough like a lion :3

My kitten (12 weeks) was found at the age of about three weeks alone at a parking space. Her siblings must have sounded like this when she saw them the last time and she associates it with her mom letting her drink. She came to me purring and searched for a nipple. Poor girl! It's breaking my heart.

I found a little kitten he was 2-3 days old and very tiny smaller than that little guy. We took him to the vet later on just to make sure he wasn't sick cuz he was in the cold streets alone. He was the size of my palm. I saved him, now he is healthy and a year old

If anyone has ever raised a newborn kitten at this age, they realize what a privilege it is, and one fantastic experience. Doesn't matter if you have to wake up multiple times during the night to feed the little critter and make him poop/pee. It's a rewarding experience unlike any other.
Taylor Lords i rescue cats but not this little, more like Hurt and sick, so i help to be healthy and ready for adoption. But the first time i had to deal with little kittens was because i rescued 2 pregnant Cats, they had Their Babies and at 3 weeks old moms got sick. So I had to take care of 9. Nine. NINE. Nueve. That Was my first experiencie with feeding babies. I went big i know. I did that for about 4 days util moms were Nice again. But NINE. It drove me nuts that week.

Here in Germany, Kleenex is called Tempo! I think he should be named Tempo because it also means to beat and Tempo had such a lust for life by singing his heart out and not missing his little "tempo"! Just a thought!

When the kittens grew older, about 11 months old or more, their mom has to leave the kittens, because they are big, and they can survive by themselves. Just like us. But some cat moms abandoned their newborn kittens, it may because the cat moms don't know how to take care of them.
