I rescued a kitten that was abandoned by his mother in my backyard. He had fleas, ticks, signs of struggle, and was emaciated with an upper respiratory problem. He fought his way through, and is now a handsome and healthy 10 month old boy!
Power to that handsome boy!
Ava Hougie my brothers car had upper respiratory infection and died from it... it was a girl named Lucille we got her from the vet she died a month later 😭😭😭😭

I have a cat, he was a stray cat. But he had this abnormal love towards me and my family, especially me. Other kittens were always scared but he was very nice. Now he is the king of our house, a hot 1 year old cat.i love him very much.
Another time I tried to rescue 3 kitten who were abandoned by their mother(it was her first pregnancy) but sadly they all lost their battles and I still miss them everyday because they all died a few days apart. The most friendly one died first, he was first abandoned by her. Next morning when I woke up and came down, my mom told that he died. The other one died 1 day later. He died in the rain where the mother cat left him.the last one had this melancholic look at him and cried so bad. I took him and fed him with milk(i am not professional. I am just a teen.i don't have those equipments) and tried to warm him with my body temperature and heaps of blankets. He threw up all the milk and the northern cat took him away. Next day I didn't see him and waited a month. No signs of him. Eventually I heard news from my neighbor about a dead kitten which was lying at the front of their house. I'm really sad. I miss you all and Rip.

@@rachelrecycles369 there really isnt though, the kitten might have been being fed by bottle, but as she said, it's fairly hard to get a kitten to eat from a bottle or syringe right away. they may not have been experienced enough to do a tube, so they were feeding it what they could on top of a little bit from mama. Its not their fault they couldnt get it to eat, it's why they called kitten lady.

An abandoned cat made its way into my papa’s roof. She had kittens, and my cousin and I (9&10) had to crawl up into the rafters to get them outta there. Mama was healthy, but hungry, and there were 5 kittens, all healthy, though there was a runt. We got them away from the fibreglass insulator and to a shelter. Last I heard they had all been adopted

Some puppies/kittens are insufficient nursers (can't suck enough milk) so it LOOKS like they are nursing/eating but they may not be getting much of anything. That is probably what the shelter woman meant.

Wow. How precious. Every time I step foot in a shelter or pet store, I have to hold back to urge to adopt every animal I see.
Watch for the ones on the #1 euthanasia list, #2-3 age and/or color eldest and black don't get adopted as fast as others #4 how long have they been in the shelter/humane society/foster care/holding place/health issues/elderly can make the best pets as they just love to love OR LOVE from a terrific human is what brings them alive for years. Or watch if it's kitten season-twice a year. To many kittens and not enough adopters. Adopt two or more at a time as you won't regret it, so much fun and kitten antics. Kittens need playmates. They need good loving homes not euthanized.
Our problem 2. We would go and try to just rescue 1. But when the big wants u to get more, in our case we listened!!!

I will be getting more kittens / cats in the future so i know if they're unwell. This is very helpful and will help me in the future because i want to do the same! ( Fostering animals, UA-cam, ect. ) You have inspired me.

For a person who is so kind and needed, she should be concerned with staying alive and unharmed. Here is an emotionally scarred person helping the helpless. One of my babies was the runt of her litter and nobody wanted her. We took her and her sister in and now they’re the sweetest, friendliest, healthiest cats ever and I love them so much :)

You have an emotional reaction and your brain shuts down?
She was trying to be cute, probably because the camera was on her, but if you use your brain for just a nanosecond or two, you'll realize that Kitten Lady was asking a specific question about the kitten and her eating frequency and the lady at the facility was trying in her own way to say that it's not about how often she's eating, it's about the fact that she's not eating on her own.
If the kitten is in the shelter, it's a pretty safe bet they know how often to feed a kitten. If the kitten does not feed on its own, that's an issue of much greater significance to the health and care level required for the kitten.
Kitten Lady isn't making sure the vet is caring for her well, she's asking about the condition of the kitten. It's a perfectly serviceable answer for that question.

one year and a month ago, I rescued and orphaned 2 little orange boys. I had never even owned a cat before, but the little babies were outside for several hours with no mama returning. I found your youtube and was able to care for them, until they were adopted 12 weeks later, to an older couple familiar with cats. They were ecstatic, and prepped their entire house. Last month they sent me a picture celebrating the two orange boys' 1-year birthday with lots of toys and healthy treats. It was so hard giving them away, but since I'm a college student in housing that doesn't allow pets, I was not able to keep them (fostering them in the first place was a big no-no.) Now, I watch all of your fostering videos, and look forward to when I'm finally in the position to foster and care for little kittens again :)

Your second word said it all, they are just trolls pushing a button on the internet, they probably don't have enough brain cells to even attempt to justify why they pushed said button.
Possibly they could be greenies (tree huggers, not the kitty treats!) who have disdain for cats because they kill all the wildlife, all the time while they drive a car and use electricity etc which combined over their life probably kills a lot more forms of life that cats killing the odd thing here and there.

My mom and me save kittens too! One day we got a mom and three kittens. The mom took care of two of them but abandoned the weakest one but we bottle fed her until she was strong .!!! Now all of them are adopted 💖

We rescue street cats too, but I have a big problem to giving them away.
One time we arrived to have eight. Gladly for us and specially for them we have plenty of space and a nice garden for them to play. But of course there must be a limit...
But more they stay with us less I’m able to give them away to someone. After all this videos I just distrust people there are many good souls that do way too much that we will ever be able to do but I feel that the ones that hurt them win by number. And I’m afraid that after getting them they will get tired from them as many do.
The last one we actually found in our own garden I guess they are attracted by the smell of others cats.
So this one is an old orange big cat with a broken tail but still very cute and beautiful... what surprised me most is that even he was skinny and obviously hungry he was most interested in us petting him than eating we had to step away to not distract him for eating.
Him not even being afraid of us and wanting more the caresses than food makes me think that he once had owners and got lost or abandoned. 😢
So this one definitely is staying with us.
He probably had a family and lost it, found himself another one to lost it again? Not in my watch. So now we had six with him.😹
